All right. After that last double battle that ended in a mess, we all decided on this 1v1 matchup.

Number of Pokemon: 1 Pokemon each
Battle Type: Single battle
DQ Time: 1 Week
Attack bans: None at the moment. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Arena: Cyberspace Arena

Cyberspace Arena ("Outdoor" Custom Arena): Imagine if you will, placing the desktop of your computer flat on the ground, enlarging it to about 200x200 or 400x400 feet (ref’s choice), and having Pokémon battle there. The Pokémon, while battling, will be bombarded by flying letters, text, and icons (icons only attack the Pokémon while they are on the desktop itself), which do some damage if they make contact. Windows open and close once in a while, when one opens, the Pokémon find themselves between the one they are battling on and the one that just opened. When one closes, any Pokémon standing on it will plummet to the window or desktop below. No window will ever take up the entire screen, this means that if a Pokémon is on top of a window, it can fall or be pushed over onto the one below. The battle starts on the desktop, with a few windows opening in the next few turns. The trainers watch the battle over specialized computer monitors, and give orders via microphones connected to the huge central supercomputer CPU where the battle takes place. Obviously, inorganic Pokémon such as Porygon, Magnemite, and Magneton will gain a small temporary stat boost from fighting in their native environment. No special rules can be used in this battle for rather obvious reasons, though if the ref wants to be particularly nasty, they could enable the deadly rule and have the Hard Disk currently undergoing a full format/scandisk/defrag/virus scan.

Obviously, I've never seen realistic/deadly rules in effect for the TPMASBL, so none will be applied.

Attack order: With the coin toss, Yero will send out first, so Erandi will attack first. Then the order reverses and it continues in that vein.

All right then, I will choose Delibird (Male) once more, though without the strangness of him disliking me. That is, of course, unless the ref thinks otherwise that it SHOULD hate me...

Let's do this Delibird! Start off your amazing assault with Icy Wind to cool things up a bit, then use Future Sight while Kabuto is (hopefully) blown back a bit, and finish it off with Secret Power, just to see what we can do with this strange field!

Well, I guess the show has to go on, but anyway...

Amongst the various codes upon codes hardwired into the machine displays a rather well-understood and eccentric wallpaper dabbed with various hues and shades. Several colorful icons litter itself rather sloppily across the said background, carrying little order to what would be considered negligence to the uptight. At the far side of the desktop is a bright green button labeled "START" as well as a cool blue toolbar, stocked with WinAmp (Can't start the match without music! ^_~) bar in minimized form, as well as other tiny icons in the distance, each carrying their own specific instructions. The desktop is free of any mess at the moment, although that is to change soon enough. Considering this is my computer and all...>_>

~Shelly the male Kabuto and the male Delibird face their opponents as they prepare to battle in this whismical arena. Delibird produces a blistering stream of cold air throughout the cyberspace, chilling out everything in its way. The ice bird is confident (and somewhat cocky) - only to be humbled as Shelly tunnels right into the heart of the Riesz wallpaper. Nooooooooooo!!! Don't ruin the wallpaper! ;_; True, Shelly did feel the cold while he was digging. However, as a result of his type resistance, the resulting damage was only meager.

Shelly took some time to reemerge right behind his frosty opponent.* Delibird haughtily noticed and began to foresee a misfortune in advance for the Kabuto. All of a sudden, out of nowhere comes is -

I RAWK UR SOXORS LOLWTFBBQ!!1111oneone

Oh my lawwd! It's the attack of...CAPZ LOCKZ!!111(TM) Several 72pt+ CAPZ LOCKZ!!111(TM) letters smack the poor bird, only to roll off in some far off distance. Now, it was Shelly's turn to sneer at his foe.

Meantime, two windows of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Paint open up at their respective heights from off the ground.**

Delibird however won't take this smack lightly. The bird fired an energy beam in the image of a laser shot, striking Shelly yet only dealing minor damage due to the Rock-typing. Shelly retailliated by dashing forward to his opponent and clamping down his claws upon the bird's flesh, as horrific chemicals get infected into Delibird's bodily system.~

Delibird, use Double Team before he gets a chance to confuse ray you; at least it will give you the chance of making him choose which one to confuse. Then, to really spice things up, use Double Team again as kabuto is doubling himself. Finally, since he's gonna have to choose between a bunch of you, let's use Fly before he gets the chance to try and capture you under a pile of rocks...

~After torn wallpapers, gargantuan text, and crazy laser beams, lets get it on in Round 2!

Delibird starts fauxing several images of itself about the cyberspace, resulting with six Delibirds surrounding Shelly, sneering all the way. Shelly had a bit of trouble of directing his ray as a result and made a wild guess upon the one to his right. Soon, all of a sudden Delibird began to twitch hysterically while the rest of his images vanish.

Secure that his opponent was now astray, Shelly began faking images himself, creating six Kabutos around the disillusioned Delibird. The bird Pokemon tried to stare Kabuto straight in the eyes - all 12 of them - when out of distance...a Microsoft Excel document runs him over, causing him to fall flat on his face. The document also tears through three of Shelly's images as well. Hey, at least it brought Delibird back to reality. :p

This is the Kabuto's chance to capitalize. As he is about to however, a giant white object floats downward from the top of the cyberspace. At first, Shelly thought it was another icon ready to smack him silly. However, it's much worse, very much worse. The giant white object flows right through each of the images in turn and picks up Shelly. The white object drags Shelly all over the cyberspace as well as into the air, before finally tossing him in the Recycle Bin. Score! The giant white thing is revealed to be a mouse pointer as it changes into a wagging finger scolding Shelly. Meanwhile, Delibird flies upward into the upper regions of the cyberspace as he is enjoying the spectacle.~

All right Delibird! We got him where we want him! Finish off Fly; with Kabuto being in the trash can, he can't go far to dodge. Then while you're in there, use Blizzard to really hurt him, and finally use your poisoned body to it's fullest with Facade.

It's not my fault you don't follow the rules. And no, I wasn't going for a win, since neither of our health bars are under half, it wouldn't be a win for either of us. Read the rules.

Shelly, use Protect to create a protective barrier at the top of the Recycle bin, so Delibird doesn't enter. Next, Dig through the bottom of the bin right as the Blizzard is coming after you, and come back out behind a window so Delibird can't see you.

Its true that a player would be DQed for failing to meet up with his or her battles within a specific timeframe. However, its also the responsibility for each of the battlers as well as the ref for at least notifiying their opponents for the battles should they forget.

~Delibird viciously hawks down upon the Kabuto, who is struggling in the Recycle Bin. With few options left, he throws out a force field around his monster to block his attack. Delibird collides into the shield, causing him to stagger messily across the cyberfield.

The snow bird Pokemon shakes himself off and then delievers a massive arctic blast upon the shellfish. Shelly hastily tunnels through the Bin and into the background again, but seems to have some trouble due to the material of the Recycle Bin icon. Kabuto as a result got beaten down by the incoming ice, even if much was reduced due to typing, yet he eventually persevered and tunneled right through and into the cyberground.

Shelly reemerges from under the Microsoft Word window, concealing himself safe and sound...that is until it closes and vanishes! Shelly was helpless as Delibird slammed in with a brute tackle increased by the poisonous energies within, knocking him back a good half foot or so. Delibird was quite pleased, but churned as the toxins in his veins took effect, eating his life energies even more.~

~Shelly shines a curiously colored flash of light upon Delibird, scrambling his rationality instanteously. The ice bird shudders for a moment, but manages to pull out and toss a pretty pink box on the floor. The box opens up, revealing...nothing?

...

Soon, all of a sudden, boulder-sized meteors start falling from the cyberskies and rains upon poor Shelly. They crush the shellfish as well as taking off a good chunk of life in the process.

Despite that heavy setback, Shelly the Kabuto splits into five more images, leaving a total of six Kabutos onto the field. Delibird was now in a major predicament as he now had trouble get his senses together as well as selecting a target. What was he supposed to do again? Present? To where? The ice bird manages to chuck a bright red box all right - only except its thrown off a good feet away from the battle! The present opens up to a pretty angel showering its magic on just open air. Delibird blushes a bright crimson at his mistake, which doesn't last very long as the Microsoft Paint window plummets and crashes upon him. The said window then closes and vanishes from sight, leaving a rather ugly bruise on Delibird's head.

Knocking him back to rationality, Delibird grubbily searches his bag for another box to toss out. Just about then, all of the Kabutos converge and leech upon Delibird, and begin sapping out life from the ice bird. Once the attack finally finished, Delibird threw out a shiny green one, which concealed...another pretty angel as she uses her magic to heal up Delibird's previous wounds, and then vanish into nothingness.

Speaking of windows, a new Notepad window just opened up on ground level.~

Wow! Okay, keep with it Delibird! Start off with Hail to gain a slight advantage over your ground opponent, then use Toxic on your opponent and see how HE likes it! Finally, use Future Sight to gain an attack later as a final resort!

We need to get some fatigue back, Shelly.

Have your clones and yourself dig underground to avoid the hail. Next, if the Toxic is aimed at the correct hole where you are at, use rapid spin to knock that glob back out. Finally, just Relax while underground, enjoying the sound of the hail falling against the cold earth.

~A new WordPad window opens up on ground level next to the NotePad one. Ooooh. This could make for some new strategy. Then again, maybe not.

Delibird, with all his feriocity, summons a digi-ice storm to come pelting down all over the desktop. The storm's raging wind and plummeting ice and snow tears down all five of Shelly's faux images. In defense, he digs himself yet another hole into the desktop, making...four into the wallpaper? Talk about poor artistic taste. =\

Delibird decides to go give Shelly a taste of his own medicine and gathers up toxins from his body. Too bad Shelly was warm and snuggly in his hole. Now which hole should the Delibird choose? Eeeny-Meeny, he fires at the one furthest away from him. He shoots and...it lands on mere cyberfloor, eating away on its nearby surroundings.

While all this mess was occuring, a floating Question Mark icon floats near the ground. What does it contain? Nobody knows.

The ice bird was really ticked by that mishap. So while Shelly was still lulling around in comfort, Delibird established an misfortune in advance for the Kabuto. Now all he had to do was wait...~
