    Default Fire/grass questions!

So now I've got my Milotic, Flygon, Salamence and Aggron. I love those guys, so tough. Anyways, What's better?

Grovyle VS Shiftry (as far as moves learned that are good and overall strength)

Torkoal VS Blaziken (remember I can only have one starter cause there's nobody for me to trade with!)

Also, someone in the game was talking about mirage island...what the heck is that?

    1. Sceptile is better than Shiftry unless you want to surprise your opponent with a Dark Type because Shiftry can't do as much as a Sceptile can overall.
    2. To me Torkoal and Blaziken are both good but at different things. Torkoal has some ace Defences and could set up Toxic on your opponent. Whereas Blaziken has the power to Physically Sweep.
    3. Mirage Island is on the water Route east of Pacifidlog if it's going to be there. To check if it's there talk to a man in a house on the bottom right of Pacifidlog and he'll tell you if he can see it or not. Every day a random number is made and if a Pokemon on your Team has that random number Mirage Island will be there. On Mirage Island you'll find a load of wild Wynaut and a Liechi Berry.

Your team is already pretty vulnerable to Ice... I'd not add another one. If you want Grass *moves*, you could look to a Sunnybeamer (Sunny Day, Solar Beam and a Fire move). Exploud is a good possibility, as is Castform.

If you have access to it, Ludicolo is a good Grass type that is *not* vulnerable to Ice (or Fire for that matter).

Consider Ninetales for your Fire type - it's a better special sweeper than Blaziken (who is a split physical/special type anyway) and has some very useful moves in its set. However, Blaziken over Sceptile for this team, as it is better at dealing with Ice types (being able to address them with either Fire or Fighting moves).
