If i had an idea, and not only that, a script and basis for a manga-anime of my own who would i go to?
Do anime houses or comic studios openly deal with people who want to share ideas with them?
Can anyone help?

[b][size=3] I've no idea on how would you get your works published. Try approaching anime studios by e mailing them on your idea, perhaps that can work.
I would be leaving this topic open for further discussion on how would other members recommend you on going about doing on it.
If you mean to get your work referred to Japan's industry, then I'm afraid the chances are about as high as having a chat with, say, Miyazaki or Kurosawa. The industry, while not exactly high paying, is EXTREMELY competitive.
The general path, though, is to get into contact with a studio's production manager and present the idea to him/her. Note that an idea can be taken up WITHOUT acknowledging the creator if he/she is not a part of the company in the first place (no copyrights, after all), so if the idea is taken up and produced into an anime/manga, then you might feel satisfaction, but no credit will be given to you.
If the idea is taken up AND they feel you should be at the helm, then you have to first be registered as an employee of the studio. That means being the scriptwriter/director/animator/artist. Note the importance in this.
That's as far as I can help. I don't really know if this is the actual case, but it's just what is usually said in other anime/manga forums. So don't take my word for it, but don't disbelieve it either.
Well to be honest credit isnt what im after, as long as i can say 'look what i did' kinda thing and people believe me lol.
The only other thing that bothers me is that if they do take it on without telling me etc they may rip my idea apart, taking some of the basis and throwing the rest away.

Actually, that's what I was referring to in the 2nd paragraph. And it's a shockingly common occurrence, and not just in the animation industry, just so you know.Originally Posted by Ultimate Charizard
