Hell, I've got one spot left open - I'll join the fun, if that's OK w/ Charizard.

Incidentally, Charizard, who is that on your avatar? Because if that's a picture of you, I think I know you!

I thought so... Fair enough. I just have a friend named Ed; he looks so much like Jack Black, it's scary.

Anyway, I'll start off with Colonel Sanders.

All right, I choose my female absol, Angel. Angel, I want you to start with double team. Next, I want you to use future sight on gastly and finish with secret power to Torchic.

Subs: If either opponent uses doubel team switch to shock wave and if either tries a status ailment, simply magic coat it.

Guess ill post my attacks first. Since i doubt Torchic wants to handle a water type, and theres a Dark type just begging for some fighting attacks ill go after Totodile first.

Start out with Hypnosis. If its asleep use Will-o-wisp on Absol, if not keep attacking Totodile with a Tunderbolt. Finish with a Giga Drain.

    Hypnosis - Will-o-wisp(absol)/Thunderbolt(totodile) - Giga Drain.

I guess that leaves me with Absol then!

    Arena

OK, Sandy, start off with an Aerial Ace to pick out the real Angel and give it a quick hit; then, when you know where it is, give it a close-range Fire Blast. Try to get as close as you can so Secret Power backlashes and hits Angel a bit, too; finish up by sending a Rock Slide after Snappy (Or Snappy and Angel - I dunno how it'd target in a tag-battle.).

If Water Pulse connects and confuses you, fall back and try to shake it off.

Move: Aerial Ace, Fire Blast, Rock Slide
    Sub: Relax (as needed)

EDIT: Any refs available? Anyone at all?

Well BM, you people here has got connection with me in ASB:
Charles: reffed my match with Mega Horny
Wolfsong: um... this is the first time I reffed her match
    Ultimate Charizard: Battled with him
    Blademaster: Ref his match

Anyway... sorry it took me a while to ref. The next two week for me is exam week, so my ref will be a bit slow...

P/S: BM, is your Torchic a male? Cause in your match, I treated it as a she...

Charles Legend & Wolfsong VS Ultimate Charizard & Blademaster

    Round One

    Arena: Ivy woods/lake.

Banned moves: Rest, Attract, Perish song, Destiny bond, Grudge, Memento

    Prebattle

Welcome, people to this grand double 3 on 3 battle on the Ivy Wood! So just sit, and relax and enjoy this match.

Well, as you can see here, people have gathered around here to witness the match. And we have a vet ASB from 2001, Dark Dragonite among the spectators. I guess people have put aside the old story that Amy Wolfsong was murdered here. What really happen to her… only a handful of people know… </with reference to TPML>

And here come the battler… On the blue team we have Charles Legend (he makes some nice ASB banner) and Wolfsong (the one rumoured to be murdered here in Ivy Wood), and on the red team we have Ultimate Charizard (an old timer of ASB, if not mistaken) and Blademaster (a real funny and quirky guy). And we have your referee, darktyranitar. (um… a.k.a. ref “Just Shoot Me”)
(For future reference, they will be given acronym: CL, WS, UC, BM, and dt)

On the blue team, CL released his Totodile, Snappy while WS released her Absol, Angel. On the red team, UC released his female Gastly while BM released his Torchic, Colonel Sanders.

Let’s not keep the crowd waiting… let’s tune in some Trance track from ATB while we enjoy this battle!

dt: Lets get on with the match!

    Sub: Relax (as needed)

Background music (from ATB The DJ In Mix): ATB-In Love With The DJ

    Round One~ Begin!

Working as a team, both Snappy and Angel used Double Team to produce 5 split image. All seem fine, until Gastly used Hypnosis towards the Snappies while Colonel Sanders fired an Aerial Ace precisely toward the real Angel. Both attack resulted in the destruction of the clones, with Snappy fading to slumber land and Angel left with some minor damage (4% damage).

Angel shrugged off from the attack and focused her mental power towards Gastly, sighting the future for any possible moment to strike. But soon, she felt herself burning up. Look at that Gastly. It’s using the opportunity to burn Angel with a Will –o-Wisp!

Col. Sanders then got himself close to Angel and fired off a blast of fire shaped into a kanji character. The attack hit right on. Ooh, look at Angel! And you think that she couldn’t get any worse! (12% damage)

At that moment, Snappy woke up from his sleep. He quickly puffed his mouth and fired a blast of water towards Col. Sanders (8% damage). The Torchic fell back headfirst, apparently receiving the confusion effect of the Water Pulse.

Not happy with what happened to his teammate, Snappy rushed towards Gastly, darkness energy crackling between his teeth. CRUNCH! The attack connected with Gastly, dealing some lethal damage (12% damage). But Gastly retaliated by launching a feeding tentacle towards Snappy, dealing some rather good damage (10% damage), while healing some of his HP (5% HP recovery).

With Snappy occupied with Gastly, Angel move to attack the dazed and confused Col. Sanders. She began to collect energy for Secret Power, but the longer she collects the energy, the farther away the distance that divide between her and Col. Sanders. The beam connected with Torchic, but due to the distance the impact of the attack was reduced (6% damage).

And with that, the round ends.

    End of Round One

    Stats:

    Charles Legend Team

    Snappy (M)
    HP: 90%
    Energy: 86%
    Status: HP drained

    Wolfsong Team

    Angel (F)
    HP: 84%
    Energy: 86%
    Status: Burned
    2% damage next turn
    Future Sight on Gastly

    Ultimate Charizard Team

    Gastly (F)
    HP: 93%
    Energy: 88%
Status: Happily sapping Snappy’s HP away

    Blademaster Team

    Colonel Sanders (M)
    HP: 86%
    Energy: 96%
    Status: Relaxed, no longer confused

    Team Red attack first
    Team Blue attack second

    Arena Status:

OK, Sandy, you're good to go!

Start off with a Fire Spin to ensnare Angel, and then use Rock Slide to bring down the house on that Absol! Finish up with a Mega Kick against Snappy.

Angel i want you to begin by immediately taunting Gastly. Hopefully you can successfully taunt her before she can even attempt to confuse you. Next if taunt was successful and hypnosis can't be used, I want you to use rain dance to help out Snappy. However, if taunt wasn't successful jump in front of Snappy and use protect. Finally, I want you to finish by using bite on gastly.

Background music (from ATB The DJ In Mix): ATB-In Love With The DJ

    Round Two~ Begin!

This round is going to have a lot of turns… as well as the rest of the match. The ref can feel it…

Angel started off by making a series of taunting towards Gastly. Feeling a bit challenged, Gastly suddenly abandoned its original attacked ordered by UC. Also, she wouldn’t be able to use any non-damaging attack in this turn.

Col. Sanders a.k.a. Sandy went to attack Angel with a Fire Spin. But Snappy got in front of Sandy and countered with a Whirlpool.

Since Taunt works really well, Angel summoned a group of rain cloud. Since Gastly was still taunted, she couldn’t really do anything now…

And it is around this type of time that the unexpected will happen. You guessed it! Future Sight!

On cue, Sandy jumped in front of Gastly and set up a protective barrier in front of him. Snappy didn’t exactly understand the situation, so he fired a Water Gun towards Sandy. Unfortunately, or fortunately for the red ream, both Future Sight and Water Gun was blocked by the Protect. However, it had taken a lot of energy from Sandy.

Both Sandy and Gastly then moved into a double attack to Snappy. A Mega Kick (8% damage) and a Thunderbolt (14% damage) get the best of Snappy. Snappy countered with a Water Pulse to Sandy, doing some heavy damage this time due to the rain (10% damage) and confusing him as well, while Angel gave Gastly a Bite (8% damage).

At the end of the round, the stats are:

    End of Round Two

    Stats:

    Charles Legend Team

    Snappy (M)
    HP: 68%
    Energy: 72%
    Status: A bit fried

    Wolfsong Team

    Angel (F)
    HP: 82%
    Energy: 72%
    Status: No longer burned

    Ultimate Charizard Team

    Gastly (F)
    HP: 85%
    Energy: 80%
Status: A bit flinched from bite

    Blademaster Team

    Colonel Sanders (M)
    HP: 76%
    Energy: 79%
    Status: Confused, wet

    Team Blue attack first
    Team Red attack second

    Arena Status:
Remains the same. Rain Dance remains for the next 4 round.

It's quite all right, I understand. Exams can be rough.

All right Angel, lets get to work. First off, I want you to use faint attack to get close to gastly undetected before attacking. Then i want you to finish with two shadow balls. However if at anytime you fall asleep, use sleep talk.

    OK, Sandy, here's an idea.

Wait for Snappy to coat itself with mud, and then use Flamethrower to bake it into clay - that should toast that little gator up pretty nice, and maybe even immobilize it. Once that's done, use Aerial Ace to knock Angel away from Gastly, and finish up with a close-range Ember to scorch its fur a bit.

Move: Flamethrower (S), Aerial Ace (A), Ember (A)

Right well Gastly were playing tactical again.

Start with Confuse Ray's all round....well, not for Torchic. Then end things with Mimic and learn that Rock Slide from Totodile.

Background music (from ATB The DJ In Mix): ATB-In Love With The DJ

    Round Three~ Begin!

Snappy started off by using Mud Shot, quickly encasing a layer of mud around his body. However, Sandy immediately toasted the mud with a Flamethrower before it could dry up, and that means that Snappy is covered in hot, dry mud! (5% damage) However, the falling rain eventually washed the mud away from Snappy, leaving a fuming Snappy behind.

Meanwhile, Gastly used a Confuse Ray towards the roasted Snappy. He was immediately cast into a state of confusion. And at the same time, Angel sneakily used Faint Attack to get himself behind Gastly.

Sandy suddenly used Aerial Ace to knock Angel away from Gastly. (4% damage) Realising Angel’s intention, Gastly used another Confuse Ray towards Angel. Following Snappy’s lead, she was also confused by the attack.

Snappy tried a Rock Slide, and fortunately for him, he was snapped from his confusion. The attack hit right on both Sandy and Gastly, dealing some good damage. (6% damage to Sandy, 4% damage to Gastly) However, things aren’t going too well for Angel, an in confusion, she tumbled and hurt herself. (4% damage)

With a menacing look, Sandy crept towards, and unleashed a close and menacing, but not so powerful, Ember attack. (3% damage) Snappy moved for offensive with another Rock Slide to both of Sandy and Gastly. (6% damage to Sandy, 4% damage to Gastly) In the attack, Gastly used Mimic and memorized the attack. Angel managed to snap from her confusion for the period, and she unleashed a Shadow Ball attack towards Gastly, dealing good damage. (10% damage)

    End of Round Three

    Stats:

    Charles Legend Team

    Snappy (M)
    HP: 63%

OK, Sandy, it looks like we're playing tactical this time.

Use Sand-Attack (or maybe in this case Mud Attack :p) to reduce the enemies' accuracy, and then use Mirror Move to copy the strongest attack they use and send it back at whoever would take more damage from it - no sense in sending a Ghost attack like Shadow Ball back at Angel or a Water attack at Snappy.

Move: Sand-Attack (A), Sand-Attack (S), Mirror Move (dependant on the attack)

Skip all the Trance fun, and have a slice of some Power Metal from Iron Maiden!

Background music (from Iron Maiden’s Death On The Road): Wildest Dream

    Round Four~ Begin!

Starting the round, Sandy picked up the sand (or rather Mud Attack) and launched it towards Angel. But no sooner than that, Snappy dug his way down, and he’s fast approaching Sandy.

Gastly cackled, and used a Thunder attack towards Snappy- until she realised that Snappy is underground, rendering the Thunder attack useless. The mud-blinded Angel tiptoed slowly behind Gastly, before giving her a painful Bite (7% damage).

Sandy then looked around for any sign of Snappy, but before he knew it, Snappy rose up towards him with a Brick Break attack, causing him to tumble down a newly created hole (8% damage). Snappy chuckled, but he stopped when Sandy approached him with an evil glare, and used a Sand-Attack towards Snappy. Serve the sneaky Totodile right!

Gastly gave a strange growling sound, before she began to glow with an electric spark. She turned around, a ball of electric energy produced in her mouth. She unleashed a Thunderbolt attack towards Angel (8% damage). A booming thunder was soon heard, and as Gastly looked up, she saw a bolt of lightning crashing down towards her. She gave a screech of surprise, as the high voltage electricity passed through her translucent body (12% damage). Unfortunately, since Angel was a bit of woozy-doozy, she stood a bit near Thunder path, causing her to be surged with the high-voltage electricity (8% damage)

Angel bared her fang, before she rushed towards Gastly with another Bite attack (7% damage). Gastly shrugged from the force of being bit, and recalling the Rock Slide that she learned from Snappy, she picked up some stones and tossed them towards Angel, and Snappy, who was in the hole (8% damage to Angel, 6% damage to Snappy).

Snappy didn’t hesitate to give Sandy a Crunch on his butt. He gave a shriek, feeling her butt suddenly going numb (8% damage). It didn’t take Snappy long to see a mirror-like energy glowing in front of Sandy. Sandy lashed forwards, returning Snappy a Crunch attack right on his butt (8% damage).

Right, sorry about that. I'll get up to it later. And in my reffing, Bite will deal 4% damage, +3 due to weakness. Maybe I'll lower the weakness damaga just a bit.

Amd just a question; will a divided Rock Slide mantains its power? I'm just a bit confused...

I suppose it is my own fault for not nominating a target. Im thinking too much like the game where they both stand next to each other and Rock slide gets em both. I didnt consider they might not obediently stand side by side and take it. Thats my bad so dont worry but i would still have expected more damage.

Sandy, I want you to defend Gastly as much as possible. After you get out of that hole, wait for Angel to make a move on Gastly, and then use Swift to knock her out into the open. After that, use Fire Spin to immobilize Angel, and end by countering Snappy's Water Pulse with a Flamethrower.

    Round Five~ Begin!

In the last round, we saw Snappy and Sandy trapped inside a hole. But for one of them, things are about to change…

Focusing on her psychic power, Gastly telekinetically lifted Sandy out from the hole, just as Snappy fired a Water Pulse towards him. However, beyond the shadows, Angel was stalking for Gastly, waiting for the right moment. Blink. She was gone. POW. Gastly was hit with a Faint Attack (8% damage). But just as Angel about to retreat into the shadows, WHOOSH! She was struck by a Swift attack from Sandy (4% damage).

Glad that her partner had covered her back, Gastly fired a massive Thunder attack right towards Snappy, who was still in the hole (15% damage). Smokes could be seen billowing from the hole. Ouch.

At the same time, Sandy had used a Fire Spin to trap Angel in it (3% damage). Unfortunately for Sandy, the effect of the rain mean that the fire hold is not as strong as it’s supposed to, and Angel had no problem escaping the flame vortex using a Faint Attack. Then, a loose Water Pulse from Snappy manage to hit Sandy from the depth of the hole (6% damage). Sandy took a few teetering step; he was confused.

Finished with Snappy, Gastly moved to attacking Angel. Electricity began to collect in her mouth, forming into a Thunderbolt attack. Angel went and struck Gastly with another Faint Attack (8% damage), but by the time she was about to retreat, Gastly had fired the attack towards her, sending electricity coursing through her body (8% damage).

Meanwhile, the confused Sandy obeyed his trainer order by relaxing to regain her composure. A Water Pulse from the depth of the hole that was occupied by Snappy sailed harmlessly over Sandy, barely touching the Torchic.

    End of Round Five
