[left][font=Bookman Old Style][size=4][color=red]Lycanthropes, a type of human being infected with a virus that when stimulated by the rays of the moonlight, the being would become wolfish in nature and appearance. This is the rumor that spread from country to country like wild fire during the middle ages. Whole towns would be shut down or cut off from the outside world in fear that they had Werewolves in their mist. The virus that was the cause of this could be compared to the AIDS virus, due to it’s nature of spreading through blood or sexual contact. So when families were suspected of being Lycanthropes, they were dealt with by the community in the harshest possible manner. Death by hanging. Accusations of werewolves became as common place as people being witches, and more often that not, innocent people were killed or run out of town and their homes.
By the early 1300’s Ireland had not yet been touched by this madness, the people of the small town of Derry lived their lives in peaceful harmony away from the plagues and madness that was sweeping across the rest of Europe. All of them considered themselves above the madness of accusing innocents of being werewolves. That is until the first body turns up, the body mauled past any recognition, and beyond any possibility that it was just a simple animal attack. Some witnesses say they saw a huge hulking creature attack the poor man, while others say that the man provoked the innocent creature. Either way the town could not ignore the threat any longer, they had a Werewolf in their mists.
[color=gold]The RPG begins the day after the attack and will be divided up into days and nights, you’re a villager in this town, you could be a innocent farmer, a iron smith, even a priest. Now there will be some differences from TWGs in this RPG, for one the werewolf will be known early on, possibly the first day, although not by the towns folk. Also town voting and accusations wont happen until more NPC deaths occur. Now during the night time some people may encounter the werewolf. When this happens and if you choose to fight it, you and your opponent will need to submit a battle post, the more skilled the post in either fighting, tricking, or getting away from your opponent will be the one accepted. Oh and also unlike TWG the Werewolves are not mindless soulless killing machines. The werewolf will be based off on the person’s mind, meaning it could be as innocent as a child, or as destruction happy as a logger.
There will only be two werewolves when we start off, my character and another. Either in Human forms or in their Werewolf forms they can spread the virus. Although only to one person, and that person can only then spread it to another person. The virus will have a 24 hour incubation period where it will look just like the person has a flu, before they change that night. Also they will not heal from injury in either form so if they are hurt in their werewolf form, they will remain hurt in their human form.
The challenge for everyone is survival, can your character try and figure out who the werewolves are, and if so will they survive with that knowledge? As a werewolf can you live your life with the curse that runs through your blood? Only time will tell.

Character Description With a dirty red vest, and very dirty and stained white overalls and long sleeve shirt under the vest. Antoine looks like someone who is a begger on the street, not someone who would sail the seven seas. Yet with his thick beard and deep hazel eyes, and necklong messy black hair. Antoine does have a ruggedly handsome aura to him.
Job French Trader
History Growing up as part of a trading family, Antoine learned quickly how to navigate and work on ships. He has never stayed in the same place twice, and usually gets out of the place in a matter of weeks. When his mother and father drowned when their ship ran into a storm, Antoine took control of the company and has sinced navigated a route from France to Ireland every few weeks to sell goods. He has just arrived in Derry a few days before and plans to spend several weeks there to avoid Spring Storms and to get goods before heading back to France.

Personality Antoine is very hard edged, since he lost his family during his teenage years, he has learned to be very cut throat, due to living in a cut throat buisness. He is not someone that likes to be accused of things, even if most of the time the accusations are right. He doesn't like to kill though and tries to just make his life in a very dirty buisness, with out any blood on his hands.
