Okies, I really really want to get my babies some exp and hopefully win some points...
I currently have 5 babies, but only 1 is supposedly in battle right now, so I have...
crap I don't even remember myself. >.<

Rules: Fiiine, I'll ban OHKOs, cheap moves(Toxic, curse, perish song)

This will be a 4 vs 4, but only 1 at a time.
I'll start with Chiryu(m)
Since I'm sending first, you'll be attacking first.

Oh yeah, since I'm using babies.. please do the same... or *sighs* If you don't have enough baby Pokemon, then I'll use my more "advanced" Pokemon.

Arena: my standard grassy plain, large lake in the middle, scattered with tall tall trees and boulders of varying sizes. Water pokemon may choose to start in the lake. (this is standard until I finally create a decent arena)

Okay, Kanna. Let’s start off by using a Sword Dance attack. Then, use Agility, followed by an Aerial Ace.

Round One, Begin!

Kanna begins the match by spinning about, reaching a Zen-like focus. (-6% energy) He feels even more powerful as he finishes. Chiryu waits until the Hoppip has ceased spinning, before fluttering close and delivering a Peck right on the Hoppip's nose, making the plant wince in pain. (7% damage, -4% energy)

Kanna shakes off the pain with an effort. Slowly, he releases a burst of adrenaline into his bloodstream, boosting his speed for a short time.(-5% energy) Chiryu flaps back into the air, and begins to sing a beautiful song. It is enchanting, and Kanna begins to become a bit drowsy. (-4% energy) However, his mind stays cool, and he manages to stay awake.

Surprising the Swablu, Kanna drifts into the air at a quick pace, dealing an aerial tackle into the bird. (7% damage, -3% energy) Chiryu squawks in pain, flapping higher into the air away from the Hoppip. After gaining a bit of altitiude, the Swablu turns and blasts a beam of icy power, chilling the plant. (9% damage, -5% energy)

Good job so far Chiryu, now try a sneak attack by dropping down in a combined Fly/Aerial Ace to damage that flying plant... then give her another hard Peck.. if you still have any moves left, try a Sing.

Strategy is for losers. Kanna and Chiryu eye each other evilly, before launching forward as one. Chiru cuts through the air like a living blade. Kanna moves a bit slower, being less aerodynamic but just as determined. The two Pokemon slam head-first into each other, before tumbling to the ground, dazed. Apparently, the job is better suited to football players. (12% damage, -6% energy to each)

Chiryu recovers first, quickly delivering a harsh peck to Kanna's face. (7% damage, -4% energy) Kanna grimaces in pain, but responds with an orb of glimmering power. (7% damage, -5% energy) Chiryu is struck in the face, recoiling in pain...but his eyes grow drowsy, and he drifts off to sleep...

Chiryu slowly awakens from his sleep, looking around groggily. A soft pain in his right wing brings Kanna's Leech Seed to his attention. (4% damage, -2% energy) Ignoring the burrowing of the seeds into his flesh, Chiryu flaps his wings, stretching them. Then, he spits a beam of ice, sending the nearby Hoppip flying away. (9% damage, -5% energy)

The Pokemon swoop at each other once more, in a mirror of the last round. They meet in the air, but Chiryu's aeril prowness gives him the edge over the smaller grass Pokemon.(8% damage, -4% energy) He does take a bit of damage from the impact however. (6% damage, -4% energy)

Kann rolls over in mid-air, taking aim at the Swablu. He fires a bright purple bolt of mental energy at the bird, but by the time the Confusion is near, Chiryu is already gone. (-5% energy) The Swablu had already darted even higher in the air, fully awake now.The pain in his right wing intensifies though, as the Leech Seed begins to work.

Chiryu zooms in to peck Kanna, dealing a quick blow with her boosted speed. (8% damage, -4% energy) Kanna seemingly ignores the pain, slamming into the Swablu with her entire body. (10% damage, -5% energy, 3% recoil) Chiryu squawks in pain and surprise, annoyed at Kanna's lack of reaction.

Chiryu dives suddenly, building an Ice Beam within her beak.She lets the attack fly as she rises from below, surprising the Hoppip with a ray of arching energy.(11% damage,-6% energy) Kanna shrugs it off and counters with sphere of energy, striking Chiryu in the face. (10% damage, -5% energy) A glazed expression comes over his face...

Kanna releases another burst of white spheres, slamming Chiryu along the chest. Luckily, the impact of the attack manages to shake the bird free from confusion. (-10% HP, -5% EN) Shaking off the pain, Chiryu responds with a sweet tune, covering the field like a soft rain. Kanna's eyes droop, before she falls off to a light sleep. (-4% EN)

Taking her time, the Swablu lands in front of the dozing Hoppip, grinning evilly. She takes a deep breath, before covering Kanna in a frost-like blast of power.(-11% HP, -5% EN) Kanna wakes up suddenly, the cold snapping her to consciousness. Angry to be found sleeping on the job, Kanna spits a white, status-laced orb at Chiryu.(-10% HP, -5% EN) The Swablu's eyes droop, and now he falls to sleep. Strange, ain't it?

Kanna climbs to her feet, shaking the icy particles off of her. Abruptly, Chiryu grunts, before snoring very loudly. The sonic waves damage the Hoppip's ears, causing her to grimace in pain. (-8% HP, -5% EN) Being so close doesn't help matters...she counters with another barrage of Secret Power, which manages to startle the bird into the land of the living again...(-10% HP, -5% EN)

In fact, it's not even vulgar; he merely speaks "dubbayouteeeff!?" very loudly. Badly named combos have a tendency to awaken that reaction- Kanna merely grits her teeth and plunges forward. Chiryu begins the notes of her sing, closing his eyes and bobbing to the music. By the time the first few notes reach the Hoppip's ears, she's already in motion. With her boosted power and speed, the tackle is more than enough to send the Swablu plummeting through the air towards the ground. (-9% EN) As Kanna recovers from the recoil, her eyes begin to droop. Luckily, she manages to stay conscious.

Okay, Dawn. Use Astonish to dart real quick behind her. We know Psychic requires some concentration, so hopefully you’re fast enough to go behind her. If you’re now behind her, use Giga Drain to stick on her (it shouldn’t be too hard, since you’re a Ghost), and follow up with a real close Thunderbolt attack.

If you can’t get behind her, counter the Flamethrower with Thunderbolt, and Astonish to evade the Shadow Ball.

Round Eight, Begin!

A Gastly follows DT's Hoppip- extraordinary in color. Will the same prove true in battling prowess? As the two match up, Tsuyana concentrates. Being an tiny egg (and therefore a natural prodigy) it has access to many powerful moves. One of which is telekinesis-Tsuyana glows a light purple, surrounded by an otherworldly aura. As her eyes snap open, they are filled with light- but her target is gone! Dawn slams into the Togepi into behind, phasing briefly into the physical world. Being rather rolly-polly, Tsuyana falls over on her face, unhurt by the ghost attack, but concentration ruined. (-4% EN)

Unfortunately, being a ball of gas and such, Dawn can't technically 'stick.' Her only interaction with the physical world is through her attacks- but that doesn't mean she can't stay close...right? So, she hangs close to the egg, her eyes gleaming a light green color. Tsuyana wheels about, feeling her health beginning to be siphoned away, bit by bit. Green whisps of smoke are peeled away from her egg, into the Gastly's mouth. (-10% HP, -6% EN) Enraged, trying to force the ghost back, Tsuyana....burps quite loudly. Even more surprising, a spurt of flame launches out of her mouth, like a particularly explosive brand of heartburn- right into Dawn's face. (-9% HP, -5% EN)

Gathering spectral energy from the air around her, Tsuyana fashions a sphere out of nothingness. Soon, a large black orb forms in front of her. She slaps the ball forward, which explodes on impact with Dawn's ghostly form, hurting her badly. (-11% HP, -7% EN) Gathering herself, Dawn prepares to counter. She runs a weak electric current through her dead cell, channeling and re-channeling the electricity, again and again. Finally, when the ghost resembles a lightbulb, Dawn releases the Thunderbolt, zapping Tsuyana into a spasming frenzy. (-9% HP, -6% EN)

Dawn gathers up an orb of random status energy within his mouth. The Gastly bobs left and right, taking aim at the Tsuyana. (-4% EN) She releases the orb at the Togepi, aiming for the Togepi's torso. Just in time, Tsuyana focuses her energies outward. A golden screen of pure light slowly forms itself in front of her. The Secret Power hits the screen and rebounds back at Dawn. (-6% EN) Luckily for the ghost, the orb passes right through her, being purely physical in nature.

Dawn glimmers with ghostly energy, transferring her power into electrical energy. The will o'wisp glows yellow, like a floating lightbulb, before discharging the power into the egg. Tsuyana rolls backward, struck with the power of the electricity. (-9% HP, -6% EN) Hurt, Tsuyana focuses her mental powers outward, bringing forth a physical manifestation of herself. A Togepi plush doll appears, drawing Dawn's attention away. (-10% HP, -7% EN)

Both Pokemon draws upon their latent mental power, bringing them to bear upon each other. Tsuyana's plush doll is slammed away with a psychic bolt from Dawn, knocking some stuffing loose. (-8% HP, -6% EN) Tsuyana's psychic power is significantly more effective against the undead, causing Dawn to groan in pain as the mental bolt slams into her, disturbing her negative cells.(-10% HP,-6% EN)

(-4% EN) Dawn, her eyes on the Sub, probably would have missed the true Togepi's actions anyway- but just to make sure, she closes her eyes and relaxes. A twinge of foreboding comes over her- it doesn't seem wise to close your eyes in front of a willing opponent- but trusts in her trainer. (+8% EN)

The Togepi's mouth closes, and she immediately draws upon her mental powers. A purple aura surrounds her body- a physical manifestation of her power. When she feels her mind at peace, she releases the energy in the form of a mental bolt, invisible to the eye but very palpable. The Psy-bolt crashes into Dawn, wreaking havoc upon her ethereal form. (-10% HP, -6% EN)Angered, Dawn begins to glow, shivering with electrical energy, the spark of life. She spits a large bolt of lightning, utterly incinerating Tsuyana's Sub on the spot. (-6% EN) Her eyes flicker towards the true Togepi as she realizes her mistake.

Okay, at least we’ve get rid of the sub, Dawn. Now, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower and Psychic. If she uses Shadow Ball, phase yourself into the ground.

And if you feel the Future Sight coming, Astonish your way towards Tsuyana. That way, at least you can damage her in the process of dodging.
