Pokemon: Crystal Storm

Centuries ago, there was a war between the regions of Kanto and Johto. The warriors pushed their Pokemon to do anything possible to win, even shed innocent blood. In turn, the Pokemon became evil and turned against their trainers. To stop the madness, Pokemon with pure blood came together and poured their power and soul into Crystals. Each Crystal represented an element or elements. These Crystals were given to humans of pure blood, called the Aurora Knights, to protect their own kind and defeat the evil Pokemon. Their evil spirits could not rest, so they promised that they would once again bring the world chaos one way or another. But the power came with a price: these humans were doomed to spend their lives as half-Pokemon. Their half-Pokemon blood was carried on through later generations, although it wasn’t noticed.

The powerful Crystals, now called Aurora Crystals, were sealed in a protective underground chamber and guarded by the descendents of the Aurora Spirits, the souls that are contained in the Aurora Crystal. So was a giant egg (yes, egg) containing the Dark Phoenix, a dark-type legendary bird that was made of the evil souls of the Pokemon from the war. The guardians foretold a day when the chamber would open. If anyone was to open the chamber, the egg would hatch and release the phoenix once again. He would bring the world to an end a week later. But there is a good side: the Aurora Knight descendents would gather together that day. Each of the Aurora Crystals would split into two, one half for the Aurora Knight descendent and the other half for the Pokemon guardians. These beings must defeat the Dark Phoenix and stop him from destroying all life.

You’re one of the Aurora Knight descendents, on a staying at an archaeology site where they’re about the open the chamber. You were promised pay if you would chase away/defeat/capture the “meddling Pokemon” that are causing trouble for the excavators. These Pokemon are the guardians. The chamber is opened one night, and everything immediately goes south from there. The Dark Phoenix is released and wreaks havoc in the site before taking off in the night. The Aurora Crystals are also released and embed themselves in the skin of the new Knights and their guardians. Oh, did I mention you can understand Pokemon now? And that you turn into a half Pokemon?

I’m gonna have to be picky this time. I don't want this RPG to die, so if you want to participate I want you here to keep the storyline going unless you're unable to. In that case you should post in the Away topic saying you cannot. You cannot change gender. And if their personalities suit them right, your character can become a bad guy. Okay, here is the list of Crystals:

Plain Crystal – looks as clear as cleaned glass; will increase the power of normal-type attacks and will turn you into a normal-type hybrid. Taken by Saffire Persian's human character

Flora Crystal – Is a bright green color; will increase the power of grass-type attacks and will turn you into a grass-type hybrid. You can revive dead plants with just a touch and can turn a rainy day into a sunny one. Beware; you can’t function well in cold weather. Taken by Hyperness is a Good Thing's guardian character

Aqua Crystal – Is an aquamarine color; will increase the power of water-type attacks and will turn you into a water-type hybrid. You can manipulate water with your mind (is there such a word as aquakinesis?) and make it rain. Taken by T_M_L's guardian character

Flame Crystal – Is a red color; will increase the power of fire-type attacks and will turn you into a fire-type hybrid. You can manipulate fire with your mind (pyrokinesis) and can also make a rainy day into a sunny one. Beware; you can’t function well in cold weather. Taken by my human character

Shock Crystal – Is a shocking yellow cooler; will increase the power of electric type attacks and will turn you into a electric type hybrid. You can absorb electricity (as long as you can take it) and manipulate electricity with your mind. Taken by Saffire Persian's guardian character

Aero Crystal – Is a sky blue color; will increase the power of flying type attacks and turn you into a flying type hybrid. You can sprout wings and fly for short periods of time. Taken by Hyperness is a Good Thing's human character

Venom Crystal – Is a purple color; will increase the power of bug and poison type attacks and will turn you into a bug or poison type hybrid (or both, if it’s a dual type). You’ll be able to poison your foes using fangs or poison spores or whatever (depends on your hybrid). Reserved by Mystic_clown's human character

Draco Crystal – Is an orange color; will increase the power of dragon type attacks and will turn you into a dragon type hybrid. You’ll be able to change the weather any way you choose. Taken by Crazy Elf Boy's human character

Mind Crystal – Is a lavender color; will increase the power of psychic type attacks and turn you into a psychic type hybrid. You’ll have the full gauntlet of psychic abilities (just think Mewtwo). Taken by T_M_L's human character

Shadow Crystal – Is a grey color; will increase the power of ghost type attacks and turn you into a ghost type hybrid. You’ll be able to phase through solid objects and cast illusions. Taken by God of Death's human character

Lunar Crystal – Is a black color; will increase the power of dark type attacks and turn you into a dark type hybrid. You’ll be able to cast dark auras (like Nightshade SSBM style). Taken by Crazy Elf Boy's guardian character

Terra Crystal – Is an amber color; will increase the power of rock, ground, fighting, and steel type attacks. It will turn you into a…you know. You’ll be able to manipulate the earth (like dirt and rocks, not the planet in general). Taken by God of Death's guardian character

Glacier Crystal – Is a milky white color; will increase the power of ice type attacks and…you know. You’ll be able to freeze objects. Taken by my guardian character

Finally, it’s done! That’s pretty good; there are thirteen spots available. Of course, I’ll let the best control two characters at once. The first form’s for the Knight and the second’s for your guardian. You can have one type of Crystal and another type for your guardian. Okay, here’s the sign-up forms:

Personality: She's a generally nice person although sort of quiet at times. She takes orders pretty well but when she has to, she'll take control. She doesn't like to back down from a fight if she thinks she can handle it but when she can't, she'll either back down or ask others for help
Before Appearance: She stands at 5'1 and is thin and sort of pale but doesn't look sickly and is infact quite strong. Her hair is a chocolate brown and lies straight down at her shoulders and her eyes are a mix of blue, gray and green. She wears a simple blue t-shirt with stretchy jeans and regular sneakers. She looks rather unremarkable but the eyes is what gets the attention of others

Bonjour.
Name: Emma Tachi
Gender: Female
Age: 16

Location: Ercuteak

Personality: Emma is a prankster, but makes sure she doesn't cross the line. She gives out her trust easily, but if you break it, it may prove impossible to get it back. Emma is very peaceful, but get no ideas, she will fight for what she believes in, and is very stubborn about them. Slow to anger, when she reaches her melting point, she will erupt like a volcano. Loves to learn, Emma can usually be found reading a book, or studying some random thing she discovered. Emma dislikes people making fun of her height, and the offender may find themselves waking up duct taped to a wall.

Before Appearance: Emma is very short for her age, maxing out at 5 feet tall, and weighing 90 pounds (I'm no good with weight to height ratios) She has mid-back length black hair with lilac purple hightlights, which she either puts up into a ponytail, or a messy bun. Her eyes are a dark brown color, with swirls of light purple near the pupils. Emma usually wears black jeans, with a violet purple t-shirt, with a blue Gastly on it. She wears black combat boots most of the time, and when she's not wearing them, she wears plain white sneakers.

Hybrid Appearance: Gengar; Emma becomes 2 inches shorter, with the purple skin of a Gengar. She still keeps her hair, but it turns into the same exact color as her skin. Her eyes turn a ruby red color, with black slits for pupils.

Personality: Kirian is generally quiet, but spends much time deep in thought and reflection. However, around people he is comfortable with, he will start talking more, but he chooses his friends very carefully. When angered, is anger is one that is always contained deep down, and it smoulders away, never to come out, and he tends to prefer to hide all his emotions rather than give vent to them. He is also not susceptible to mood swings and changes, and he is generally calm, and can keep his head in a bad situation. However, he occasionally shows a mean streak, when he can no longer contain himself, almost a dual personality. He can also be blunt to the point of rudeness when in this "meaner" personality.
Before Appearance: Kirian is about 6”3 in height, with golden eyes that occasionally look red in certain lights. He is well built, but not overly muscular, almost wiry. He looks serious most of the time, rarely smiles. He moves with a sinewy grace that is almost cat-like, and he tends to toss his head a bit, because his fringe constantly gets into his eyes. His hair is a shade of dark blue, with odd purple highlights scattered throughout. He wears a tight, black polo shirt, and long black pants that allow him a lot of free movement. Over this, he usually wears a long white trenchcoat that never seems to get dirty no matter what he goes through. He has a long, thin silver chain around his neck with a strange silver pendant, and he never removes this. Around his waist is a leather belt, on which hangs a long, white flute on his left hip. (Kirian's face and hair roughly looks like the guy here).
Crystal: Aero Crystal
Hybrid Appearance: Altaria, first Kirian’s dark coloured hair will instantly pale into a strange shimmery silver, with random streaks of sky blue. His eyes remain tawny gold though. Also, he is seemingly surrounded by a mysterious cloud, much like Altaria, and he can now fly. His visible arms and legs take on a strange downy layer that is pale blue in colour. His height does not change.
Attacks: Dragon breath, Sky Attack, Take Down, Perish Song, Sing, Dream Eater

Gender: F
Personality: She’s a rather hyper character, very good contrast to Kirian, whom she will eventually draw out of his shell, and she loves the sound of her own voice. She is in love with beauty, and can stare for hours at a waterfall, or some scenery. She’s also fond of using big words that she sometimes doesn’t understand well, and can be extremely childish and naïve, but she’s actually quite intelligent. Sudi is a very loyal friend and companion, and will never leave anyone behind. Other than that, Sudi is also rather thick skinned, and is quite oblivious to general criticism, unless someone she cares about very much says it, and then that's a totally different matter - she will be hurt to the core.
Appearance: normal, except that she wears a chain of random pretty flowers around her head, generally very sweet smelling.

Personality: Not exactly right in the head. He’s eccentric, erratic, and acts on impulse. He dislikes taking orders and rather does his own thing. He feels truly alive when in battle and doing what he sees fit. He’s of the opinion that one should enjoy life, no matter the consequences, an opinion that normally gets him in trouble.
Before Appearance: He stands at about 5’76’’ with a lean build and a slightly pale complexion. His short hair is raven black and kept in an untidy fashion and his eyes almost take a reddish hue. For clothing, Edward wears a black suit with a white undershirt, black pants, a black tie and white gloves. He also wears black, expensive looking shoes and a black hat. He normally carries a cane with him. Having trouble visualizing him? See this then (you can guess which one he is).
