Blademaster, resident wise-guy and good Samaritan of TPM, is strolling through a field one day humming the original Super Mario Bros. theme, when an odd object comes into his sight. It looks at first like a majestic castle, bt as Blademaster gets closer, he notices two things wrong with said castle: 1. One of the walls is missing. 2. The castle looks oddly colorful and flat, almost like a toy... Blademaster walks up to the brick wall and knocks against it; he is stunned to find it gives right away like rubber!

'Well, there's something you don't see every day...' he thinks.

"Hey!" a voice shouts somewhere above him. He looks up to see a flamboyant and somewhat bitchy-sounding figure leaning down over the top of the castle, shaking a fist at him. "Get your dirty hands off my marvelous bouncy castle, you swine!"

'Is that Little Richard?' Blade thinks, squinting.

Just then, another figure leans over beside the first.

"Oh, hey, Blade." he says nonchalantly.

"Hey, Elec Man." Blade responds, recognizing his voice. "Wassup?"

"Me and Andrew here are having a battle, but we need a referee. You interested?"

Blade shrugs.

"OK."

With that, Blade walks around to the 'cutaway wall,' stepping up and bouncing expertly from floor to floor, humming the Mario Bros. theme as he goes, making him look all the more like Mario.

"Wahoo!" Blade says in a high, Italian-accented voice as he reaches the top level. "Haha!"

Andrew and Elec man glance at each other and shrug before taking their positions across from each other and sending out their Pokemon, a Jynx named Vicki Pollard and a Wingull named Seafoam (respectively). As the two Pokemon and their Trainers size each other up, Blademaster steps forward and says in a scratchy, slightly high-pitched voice:

"OK, you two, I wanna good, clean fight! No punches below the belt, and Andrew, no unexpected Quackman cameos! Now, let's get it on!"

Somewhere in the background, a fight bell rings, and the match is underway...

Andrew and Elec Man give their first commands; Seafoam and Vicki nod and face each other...

Seafoam starts off the round by opening his beak and emitting an echoing, high-pitched squawk that ripples across the field at Vicki...

But, as any good science major knows, light travels faster than sound; Vicki smiles and blushes slightly...

Then, to everyone's utter shock (save for maybe Andrew's), Vicki pulls up her dress, beneath from which a bright light flashes that shines directly into Seafoam's and Elec Man's faces!

"WAAAARGH! My eyes!" Elec man screeches, rubbing his swollen corneas. "I'm blind!"

Jynx laughs heartily as she lowers her dress, but then, the Supersonic waves hit, causing her eyes to roll as her thoughts are momentarily scrambled...

"Jynx..." she mumbles, trying to clear her head.

Meanwhile, Seafoam opens his eyes, his vision blurry, but his train of though all the same as before. His body glows a faint blue as he zips about over the castle, flying in wobbly circles as he builds up speed.

Vicki shakes her head, feeling like she's dreaming, but she remembers her orders and inhales deeply before exhaling a sharp blast of cold wind laced with ice pieces and snowflakes. Some of the attack melts as it flies through the air, but Vicki's eyes glow blue, as does the rest of the blizzard, which retracts around her into a somewhat misshapen but still powerful tornado of ice. She is safely in the eye of the storm, but her clouded mind does affect her concentration a few times, allowing a stray gust of wind and a few chips of ice to strike her now and then.

Seafoam, his speed boosted sharply, swoops down at where Vicki was standing, his wings glowing silver as he swoops in, completely unaware he's flying into a twister of snow and ice. He swoops at Vicki... and slams face-first into the icy wall. He cries out as his concentration is shattered by the cold, his silver glow fading as the icy whips him about, knocking him around like a stuffed toy before finally spitting him out behind Vicki, sending him crashing into a rubbery parapet. The Wingull shivers as he gets back up, icicles forming on his beak.

Let's summon a Hailstorm! Thanks to your ice type, you'll be okay. Then, I want you to use Counter on that bird if he tries to hit you physically, if not, let's go with Psychic in a Beam form then a Shadow Ball.

I like your story-style reffing Blade.

Lets not let that thing get an edge on you, Seafoam. Start off by whipping up a nice Twister, give the Jynx a taste of her own whirlwindy medicine. Then, try and dodge the psychic beam as best you can with your increased speed, and fire off a Water Pulse to drench Ms. Vicki, get her nice and wet. Most girls don't like getting wet :p. And finally, bide your time until Jynx has gotten to the point where she can't counter (when she's already started her Shadow Ball and is getting close to firing) and then use another Steel Wing. Steel is resistant to a ghost attack, so use your wing to slice through the ball for (hopefully) reduced damage, and then continue on and smack her in the face.

We're here atop Andrew's gigantic bouncy castle battlefield, where a battle is underway between Andrew and his Jynx (named Vicki Pollard) and Elec Man EXE and his Wingull (named Seafoam). So far, the battle hasn't gotten too rough, save for Andrew's occasional snide, bitchy remarks; it could go either way at this point...

Andrew and Elec Man give their commands; Seafoam and Vicki nod and face each other, though Vicki looks a little distracted...

Seafoam, his speed increased due to Agility's effect last round, starts off by flapping his wings, which glow with a faint pink energy as his wings flap harder and faster, eventually conjuring a whirlwind laced with that same pink energy. The whirlwind slams into Vicki, who staggers and strains as the Twister tries to lift her off the ground. Vicki fights back by closing her eyes and clapping her hands together, sending a rippling wave of cold through the air and into the clouds. A moment later, a hailstorm has brewed, and chunks of ice the size of peas are now plummeting all across the castle. Vicki doesn't seem to mind, but Seafoam is having some troubles as the ice pellets smack his head repeatedly.

Shaking his head, Seafoam takes a deep breath, oxygen combining with hydrogen inside his body to form a jet of pressurized water that issues forth at Vicki; the sound-laced jet crashes into the Jynx, knocking her back a few feet. If she wasn't confused before, she certainly is now...

Still, Vicki remembers her orders were to use a Psychic beam against the Wingull, which she does - beams of eerie blue light shoot from her eyes, making Blademaster think back to a certain scene in Village of the Damned... Hmmm...

Though eerie, the beams are poorly aimed; Seafoam uses his high speed to his advantage and deftly dodges the blasts, his vision still blurry but reliable enough to dodge those gigantic beacons of psionic energy, and then he banks and swoops in, his wings glowing and taking on a form similar to liquid metal as he swoops down, slicing past Vicki and opening a deep wound across her chest. The Jynx gasps and shakes her head, her body glowing a faint brown...

Behind Vicki, Seafoam squawks in pain as he feels a wound identical to Vicki's opens on his chest, causing him to stumble and crash-land somewhere beyond the ramparts at the rear of the castle...

Hmm, not bad Seafoam. We wanna win, though, so lets do even better. Start off by whipping up a Mist. The air should be pretty humid already thanks to the hail, just kick it up so visibility is zero. Then, another Supersonic for more confusion. Finally, fire off a Shock Wave for some sure-fire damage. And keep moving at all times, to further decrease the chance that you'll get hit.

Seafoam quickly sails back over the castle, his beak wide open as he spits a thick stream of vator vapour over the field, attempting to obscure Vicki's visibility.

Vicky, meanwhile, spits out a wide-range blast of snow; the snow, hail, and mist have totally filled the air, making it damn-near impossible to see anything.

Suddenly, a chilling screech ripples through the air, heading straight for Vicki, who closes her eyes and sits down in the classic lotus position; she levitates off the castle roof just as the sound waves reach her ears. It seems as though she's escaped the Supersonic's effects unharmed...

That is, until a surging blast of electricity slams into her, its power amplified by the moisture-filled air. Vicki cries out as her concentration is shattered and she falls on her backside.

Vicki growls and gets to her feet, a frigid wind blasting forth from her form. Unfortunately, her own weather effects have backfired on her; she has no way of aiming, and she misses Seafoam entirely.

You stupid slag though, I told you to use your first move to improve Hail damage! NOT REDUCE ACCURACY!

Ok Vicki! I want you to use your PSYCHIC powers to sense where Wingull is and drag it down to you for this round, dealing damage on it. If you get a hold of it, crush one of it's wings with a seismic toss focused on it.

Psychic to sense Wingull and drag it down to Vicki + Seismic Toss it's hollow wing.

That witch is trying to crush you, Seafoam? Heh, not gonna happen. Let her try and pull you in.... then, once you can see her, use Pursuit + Steel Wing. The aura from Pursuit, being a dark type and rather potent, should free you from her psychic grapple, and then you can rush forward and slam her with both the darkness and your metallic wing. Once you hit her, use your speed to get the heck away, so she can't grab you. Flee back into the mist. With her unable to do anything without having caught you, go ahead and hit her with another Shock Wave.

If I'm not right, and Pursuit can't free you from the psychic attack, then fire off a Supersonic at close range, to scramble her thoughts and end the psionic attack that way once you get close. Then, Steel Wing while she's confused, use your speed to get away, and continue with Shock Wave from the mist.

Seafoam starts the round by tapping into his latent Dark powers, attempting to pinpoint Vicki's exact location. The Darkness heightens his senses; he can feel Vicki's life force, hear her heartbeat... He knows where she is.

Meanwhile, Vicki uses her telekinetic energies to focus on Seafoam's mental synopses; she quickly detects him... and he's getting real close, real fast! Vicki opens her eyes and gasps just as Seafoam slams a shimering steel wing wrapped with a black aura into her ribs, knocking the wind out of her. She stumbles and falls over, but she quickly uses her psychic powers to restart her diaphragm. She gasps and takes a few breaths, and then she spins around, catching a glimpse of Seafoam circling back overhead. Her eyes glow blue, as does Seafoam's body; he squawks as she is pulled down to Vicki's waiting hands.

If either of you has ever played Peter Jackson's King Kong, you might recognize this scene: Vicki grabs Seafoam's right wing in her right hand and his left shoulder with her left hand; she begins to pull. Seafoam screeches in pain as he feels his wing being pulled, the thin bone underneath threatening to come right out of its socket! Seafoam cringes and struggles...

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!

Seafoam and Vicki both cry out as Seafoam unleashes a stunning Shock Wave, frying both Pokemon. In the confusion, Vicki loosens her hold on Seafoam, who pulls his aching wing free and flies off as fast as he can. He stumbles in mid-air and crashes, bouncing a few feet across the rubbery roof and skidding to a stop a few feet away from his Trainer. He's stunned, but it's better than having his wing torn off...

Humm... wells, you were supposed to wait until Vicki grabbed you with Psychic before using Pursuit to break out of the psychic, but either way, good job Seafoam. At least we've closed the health gap. Your energy is dropping fast though, so lets watch that this round. Start off by making a Substitute, with moderate health. Then, go ahead and Relax, hopefully still in relative safety. Conserve your energy and rest that wing. And lastly, hit that ugly thing with a Water Pulse if you can see her, and if not then use Swift to hit regardless. Try to keep more or less still this round and rest your wing, and stay in the mist to make yourself harder to locate. Move if you have to, to avoid attacks, though. If she tries to pull you in with Psychic, use Supersonic, but only on the second or third action.

Both Pokemon spend the first round seemingly doing nothing, but upon closer examination, it is plain to see that the scribble-faced Jynx and Wingull are mere copies created from seemingly out of nowhere. That was a Hell of a trick...

The Substitue Vicki moves in, looking like an awkward person in a costume as she grabs the Seafoam Sub. Subfoam doesn't make a move; neither does SubVicki, until finally Subfoam opens its cartoonish beak and spits a stream of sound-laced water at SubVicki, who doesn't make a sound as she's pushed back and knocked right over the edge of the castle, crashing into the ground far below and exploding into pieces.

Across the castle, the real Vicki sighs and shakes her head, still hidden somewhere in the fog...

Well... I've never reffed two Substitutes battling before... Considering the opponent doesn't know the opponent has put up a Substitute, it'd kinda ruin the point if the caster attacked instead of the Substitute. Why would the opponent attack the Substitute if that's not where the attack came from?

So... I just reffed it so that the Subs fought instead.

So.... when SubVicki was holding Seafoam away from her... how'd she get killed?

The Sub just turned its head, aimed, and fired; the force knocked SubVicki back and over the edge of the castle. That combined with the damage from Water Pulse was enough to take her out.

...What? If SubVicki can walk and grab Subfoam, then Subfoam can turn its head.

OK, it's been ten days, so I was gonna post something...

Sorry about the delay! Been really sick again, stupid bacterial blood infection, similar to meninjacochal or something! Vicki! Use a Seismic Toss on that stupid bird and Mega Punch it and Brick Break it! If it decides to counter these attacks, go with Psychic Beam, Shadow Ball and Lick instead.

Hmm... ok Seafoam. You've had a round to rest your wing, hopefully thats been long enough for it to not pain you too much any more. While Vicki focuses on your sub, I want you to smash her with a Steel Wing. Don't use that hurt wing, though, use the other. Then, it all depends on what the status of the sub is. If its broken, then use a Water Pulse from long range to try and screw up her thoughts, and use your speed to keep away from her punch. If its still protecting you, then go for a Secret Power. And finally, since your at least resistant to the Brick Break, take that opportunity to Relax and conserve your energy.

The arena... Indestructable bouncy Castle thanks! No phasing into the bouncy castle. It's surrounded by a moat which is 5 meters long and 5 meters deep for Water Pokemanz... There are three large bouncy walls and an audience facing the only exposed side. Moves like Equake are like ineffective and the bouncy castle generally doesn't reflect special moves.

We're here atop Andrew's gigantic bouncy castle battlefield, where a battle is underway between Andrew and his Jynx (named Vicki Pollard) and Elec Man EXE and his Wingull (named Seafoam). So far, the battle hasn't gotten too rough, save for Andrew's occasional snide, bitchy remarks; it could go either way at this point...

Andrew and Elec Man give their commands; 'Seafoam' and Vicki nod and face each other again as the fog begins to lift...

Vicki starts the round off strong, charging at where she last saw the Seafoam Substitute. It's still close by; Vicki catches sight of it, grabs it by its legs, and slams it over and over against the roof of the castle until it explodes into pieces... Whoa...

Vicki takes several deep breaths, trying to calm herself, when something cold and hard slams her in the back of the head, sending her crashing face-first onto the castle roof. Vicki growls and gets on her feet, turning to face the real Seafoam, whose silvery wing fades back to normal as he flies back, away from Vicki's reach. But Vicki isn't deterred in the least - she races after Seafoam, who turns around and sprays a jet of supersonic water in Vicki's face.

But Vicki shakes the assault off and continues after Seafoam, whose eyes widen as a glowing fist slams into his beak, bending it and knocking Seafoam back into a nearby parapet. Seafoam pushes against the tower, and then he bounces off, right back at the smirking Jynx...

FWAMP!

A fist charged with intense amounts of Fighting energy slams into Seafoam, cracking his beak and sending him flying the opposite direction! Elec Man dives to the round seconds before Seafoam sails past him, his beak aimed at where Elec's nose would've been before he crashes into another parapet, bounces off, and crashes near the middle of the castle, skidding to a battered, beaten stop... Seafoam's eyes spin around his head as he attempts not to move, his thoughts only on recovering some of his energy...

And maybe getting a few Tylenol.

Overhead, the clouds part as the hailstorm ends, restoring visibility across the Andrew's Castle.

Ack, Seafoam. This isn't going all to well. I knew I should have chosen Andrew's Vulpix, but my desire to smack a Jynx around got the best of me... sorry buddy. But lets not give up just yet. Start off with another Mist, cloud up the area again. Then, follow up with a Shock Wave. And finally, a Pursuit. Try your best to avoid attacks with your speed, of course.

Jeeze! Ok Vicki! Use Icy Wind to blow that Mist away quickly! Then, I want you to teleport yourself ON TOP of the bird, since you should be able to see him, since there is no fog and come down HARD with a body slam and just lie on him, so that way he can't pursuit you. You know, since you're already there.

So... in the unfortunate event that there's fog around, recover energy and do anything you feel like doing, attack, beef your stats, just make sure you don't faint.
