Default An advanced Generation (emerald) question

i bought pokémon emerald 3 weeks ago, and i already had sapphire so i evaded all trainers to be quicker,
after losing form bosses(like archie and gym leaders) i started training real good, with luck i defeated juan,
then i trained and trained, there is one problem i'm afraid my team won't work against the elita four
(i need to get trough the cave in front of pokemon leage first)
rate my team, is it good enough for elite four?

    swampert lvl 50
    kadabra lvl 48
    azumarill lvl 48
    brelloom lvl 48
    keckleon lvl 38
    seagull lvl 35

    thnx already

[color=magenta]It would be a good idea to get all of your Pokémon up around Level 45. Here are the Pokémon types that you will be up against when you take on the Elite 4.

Sydney: Dark types (Fighting/Bug types will work well.)

Phoebe: Ghost types. (Use Ghost/Dark attacks. She has 2 Banette, 2 Dusclops, and a Sableye. Sableye has no weaknesses, but it isn't all that strong either, just use your best against it. Watch out for her Pokémon's Curse attack too, if she uses it, you would be best off to switch Pokémon.)

Glacia: Ice, Water/Ice types. (Fighting/Rock attacks will work well against all of her Pokémon. Otherwise, use Electric attacks on her 2 Sealeo/Walrein, and Fire attacks on her 2 Glalie.)

Drake: Dragon types. (3 of his Pokémon have a 4x weakness to Ice, so a Pokémon with Ice Beam will have a pretty easy time against everything except for Kingdra, Kingdra is only weak to Dragon type attacks, so just go with your strongest attacks against it.)

Wallace: Water types. (Most of his Pokémon are dual-types, his only pure water type is his Wailord and Milotic. You will want both Grass and Electric attacks to cover all of his Pokémon. A Flying/Bug/Poison attack would be helpful against his very annoying Ludicolo. Whatever you do, don't let your Swampert get hit by Ludicolo's Giga Drain.)

Overall: Your team really doesn't need 3 water types, I would stick with Swampert and strongly consider replacing your Pelipper and Azumarill. Give your Swampert Ice Beam, and make sure that one of your Pokémon knows a good fighting type attack, like Brick Break. You could probably go with Mach Punch on Breloom, it only has 40 base power, but Breloom gets STAB from it, and it has a high attack stat. Brick Break would also go good with Swampert. If you replace your Pelipper and Azumarill with an Electric type and a Dark type/something that can use a Dark or Ghost type attack, you will be in great shape.

Yeah, Christen pretty much covered the basic E4 tactics here. Actually, I would almost consider dropping Kecleon, as it doesn't have the best Sp. Atk, which you need for your later foes. Even with Ice Beam, I'm not sure it could OHKO, say, Salamence. Faint Attack might help for Phoebe, though (if it still knows the move), and you might be able to get a shot or two in with Ancientpower (Level 49) against Glacia... Ehh, I suppose it's useable. Maybe.

But the 3 Waters does necessitate dropping something else; it seems to me that Pelipper (I assume it's evolved) would be the best choice for now, just looking at its level. Only its TM moves could really help you, anyway, and I'm not sure Pelipper is the Pokemon to whom you'd want to give some of these TMs.

If you wanted, you could even replace it with a Hariyama from Victory Road. They're usually around Level 40, so you can train it to the recommended Level 45 very quickly. That would give you two Fighting types, but that's not quite as big of a weakness as three Waters, methinks. (Otherwise, your team could easily get rocked by Wallace's Ludicolo.)

Aside from that, just train up, teach your Pokemon some useful moves, and sweep the E4. If necessary, you can just try to make a bunch of money elsewhere, buy an insane amount of items, and push through with them. But that won't help you if you're getting OHKO'd anyway, so you may need a bit of training nonetheless.

Anyway, I hope that was helpful. Good luck!

Just a little tip about Phoebe. Her first Dusclops will use Protect on the first turn, so that gives you time to raise a stat. And also Drake may or may not have Shelgon use Protect. I've had it sometimes where it doesn't use Protect and falls to Ice Beam.
