Okay, so I leveled up Jynx to see what moves she really learns, and which players guide was right, but neither of them were. Because I never learned Meditate, (It's not like I wanted it, but still.) So, I am just wondering, if my game is Corrupted or she really doesn't learn that move, and is there another move she is suppose to learn and I didn't get it.

Well, I probably shouldn't, but Serebii's pokedex for RBYGSC reads this:

    -- Pound
    -- Lick
    -- Lovely Kiss
    Lvl. 15- Sing
    Lvl. 23- Double Slap
    Lvl. 31- Ice Punch
    Lvl. 39- Body Slam
Lvl. 47- Trash, but I believe it is supposed to say Thrash.
    Lvl. 58- Blizzard

    TM Compatibility is

    TM1
    TM5
    TM6
    TM8
    TM9
    TM10
    TM11
    TM12
    TM13
    TM14
    TM15
    TM17
    TM18
    TM19
    TM20
    TM29
    TM30
    TM31
    TM32
    TM33
    TM34
    TM35
    TM40
    TM44
    TM46
    TM50

sorry to post it, but I''m guessing Serebii is probably semi accurate, But it has lick... Hmmmm... Quite interesting....

Don't forget Yellow. Prehaps she learns different moves in Yellow?

From where I was reading it said Yellow's Jynx was exactly the same.

In my copy of the official Nintendo Power player's guide for Red/Blue, I "edited" (with a pen) Jynx's move list after learning it was wrong. What I have in here (and it's been years but I assume I verified this personally) is:
    — Pound
    — Lovely Kiss
    15 Sing Lick
    23 Double Slap
    31 Ice Punch
    39 Meditate Body Slam
    47 Blizzard Thrash
    58 Blizzard

Oddly enough, this agrees with none of the guides thus far posted. Keep in mind that I can't verify that Jynx learns Lick at level 15 instead of starting with it as Serebii claims, because it's not possible to obtain a Jynx at below level 23 in RBY. As you can see in my RBY Monotype Challenge, however, I can verify that a level-23 Jynx does not have Sing.

Isn't it possible to verify it through the use of breeding in GSC, though? Delight a Smoochum, let it evolve, fling it back to RBY, and see what your Jynx ends up doing?

I thought Smoochum only evolved at level 30 though

Indeed. Pichu, Cleffa and Igglybuff evolve with Happiness, but Tyrogue, Smoochum, Elekid and Magby evolve at set levels.
Hmm...what level can you catch wild Jynx in GSC...apparently you can get one as low as level 20. Still too high to know whether or not a move is learned at level 15.

Well technically you could shark one, but there is a pretty good chance that it could cause a glitch and screw it all up... Does it really matter whether or not you get Lick at lvl. 15?

Ah, my mistake. I thought Smoochum depended on Happiness, as well.

Hmm... I don't suppose there's some sort of breeding trick with Jynx, like the opposite of breeding an Azurill... is there? That'd be cool if there was some great, otherwise undiscovered trick...

(And yes, it does matter to the statistic nuts! Have a little respect!)

Incidentally, this does tend to happen on occasion. It's just weird that none of the guides concur; usually you have most of them agree with just a couple of incorrect ones.

And on a side note, never trust the printed guides. Sometimes it seems like they're wrong more frequently than they're right. Not to mention the "complete incomplete" walkthroughs (don't even get me started on that one). It can get pretty ridiculous.

I have an advanced crystal guide and I agree that the board with stats and move lists are definately screwed up. For one it says Blisseyonly has 320 something HP, which is wrong. Then on some other pages where it lists the Stat averages or whatever sometimes it reads the same stats on the top and bottom of the page.
