A Larvitar, eh? That's one of my favorite Pokemon(and I would have used him a lot before Tyranitar ended up being unusable in my favorite teams due to his Sand Stream trait).

I'll send out my newly approved Piplup, Monica! (Throws out his Pokeball.)

I get to attack first, sweet! Monica, use Growl to weaken that guy's attack, then use Bubblebeam to do massive damage, and finally use Bide to absorb any damage.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot I had named her earlier. (Blushes)

ROUND 1

The two trainer’s approach the battle arena. One is wearing some form of duel disk on his arm, his Pokeballs hung up along side its edge. The other competitor is hurrying onstage, as his Tea time made him slightly late. They exchange insults. The former uses words such as asshole and jerk, while the latter seems to prefer the words wanker and tosser. The fight begins.

ROUND 1

Carter charges in at the cute Penguin pokemon, who growls, lowering the fierce Larvitar’s attack, but no deterring it from its charge. Ka-chunk! Larvitar bites a huge chunk out of Piplup’s face, and blood begins to pour out…Oh wait, this is Pokemon, my bad…Larvitar walks up until its about three feet away from piplup, leans forward, and the Penguin pokemon is thrown back by an invisible force. Monica is enraged, and spurts a wonderful array of bubbles into the opponent’s face for “massive damage.” Larvitar, just getting started, slams into the ground, shaking up the little penguin a bit. Then, while the water pokemon recovers, Carter charges in and bitchslaps Monica with a massive, stony backhand. Monica merely smiles, preparing for something…

Excellent work. Ok we'll be expecting bide to be released so for this round I want you to be sneaky. Use a dragon dance, then dark pulse, then relax.

IF however you are hit with bide, simply use a payback attack to deal double the damage right back.

Well, I don't know when Bide is released, so I'll just assume it's going to be released as the first action of this round. Monica, when you release Bide, use Ice Beam on its feet to nail it to the floor, then Metal Claw while it's freeing itself.
