    Default [YGO - TCG] Crystallization

Again, continuing on with the release of Force of the Breaker. This time, its a Crystal Beast deck! (second favorite after the Volcanics). These guys are so cool, and I look forward to giving them a test over YVD (along with the Volcanics).

    Monsters: 20
    3 Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus
    3 Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth
    3 Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger
    2 Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle
    1 Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat
    2 Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle
    2 Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise
    2 Dweller in the Depths
    1 Sangan
    1 Morphing Jar

    Magic: 17
2 Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins
    3 Rare Value
    2 Crystal Abundance
    2 Crystal Beacon
    2 Crystal Promise
    2 Crystal Blessing
    1 Terraforming
    1 Giant Trunadel
    1 Mystical Space Typhoon
    1 Premature Burial

    Trap: 3
    1 Mirror Force
    1 Ring of Destruction
    1 Torrential Tribute

    Total: 40 Cards

Again, its still in its beginning stages, so tear it up as much as you like

Good luck finding three Sapphire Pegasuses. Everyone I know at my game store has been having trouble getting only one.

Anyway, I have a suggestion: Ever hear of a Trap called Two-Pronged Attack? This card destroys two of your monsters, and in return, lets you destroy one of your opponents'. Since you benefit from the Crystal Beasts being destroyed, it's quite useful.

Also, two Rainbow Ruins is not enough. With these cards, you need three.

Snatch Steal you can do without. What will you do with a Monster once you've stolen it? Nothing in this deck needs a sacrifice. This is a rare case when the drawback of using Snatch Steal will hurt you.

    Good luck.

Well all the decks I posted are for YVD. I've basically stopped playing the game IRL because the very fact at how rare some of the cards are and the fact that I would be wasting all my money just for a 1 in whatever chance of getting those specific cards.

Its WAY WAY cheaper just to DL YVD program and then DL the sets and images and make decks from that. At least we have EVERY single card ever made available to our disposal that way.

As for the rate, Two-Pronged Attack may help with adding Crystal Beasts to my M/T zone, it still is a loss of card advantage on my part, because I need to give up 3 cards (two monsters and Two-Pronged Attack) just to destroy 1 of my opponent's (one monster). That's -2 on my part in terms of card advantage, and that really is not worth it in my book.

You're right about Snatch Steal, I guess I could just take it out completely and lower my deck size to 41 cards. I think 2 Rainbow Ruins should be good for now, but I'll just add one more if I feel its necessary.
