I'll send out first, you attack first

To start things off I'll send out Silvermane. my shiny male Growlithe.

I'm not to sure if we can put a time limit on matchs, so if it's not allowed disregard it.

Alright Sil, start off by protecting yourself with Safegaurd. Then hit Croaks with Will-o-wisp. Finish off by hitting him with a Flamethrower.

Croaks is first to start, his fist gleaming as steel encases the clenched hand, fusing it into a weapon that could easily break through an Aggron’s armour. The frog leaps forward, bring his encased fist forward with shocking speed. The attack hits hard (2 DMG @ Silvermane, 2 ENG @ Croaks), shoving the glistening Growlithe back a few feet. Silvermane growls, tempted to react but instead summons a faint blue shield (4 ENG @ Silvermane) formed by tiny hexagons to encase him.

Croaks is going for another quick hit. He summons the power of poison to his fist, making deep green energy coat his hand. He leaps forward, bring his arm back. But at that moment, Silvermane launches his own attack. Bright blue flames fly from the Growlithe’s mouth and sear the Croagunk’s flesh (2 ENG @ Silvermane), roasting patches while the frog is in a midair leap. The poison type is thrown off, but manages to land a slight hit on Silvermane (6 DMG @ Silvermane, 3 @ ENG Croaks) before backing up for some distance.

Silvermane is first this time; the fire type goes into an all offensive stance before taking in a deep breath. Small red flames escape the Growlithe’s mouth before suddenly the attack is launched. The fire stream incinerates the toxic glob Croaks tried to spew on Silvermane (2 ENG @ Croaks), and then slams straight into the poison frog (11 DMG @ Croaks, 4 ENG @ Silvermane). Croaks cries out in pain as the flames lick against his already searing burns and causes the patches to grow larger.

Round two begins with a sly Silvermane splitting into identical copies of himself (4 ENG @ Silvermane). However, it seems that Croaks wants nothing to do with the copy and begins to build rather large glob of dirt in his hands. But because the arena is so dry, it really is just a very big sand attack. The Croagunk flings the glob of dirt towards the center copy, but most of the dirt falls away and the poison type only succeeds in destroying one clone (3 ENG @ Croaks) .

Silvermane’s clones fade away as he decides to go for a moment abrupt approach. He races forward at an incredible speed and slams straight into the frog (10 DMG @ Croaks, 3 ENG @ Silvermane)! Croaks recovers however, eyeing the fire puppy as it backs away to gain some distance. He takes the chance to dance about, with a surprising amount of elegance. Rain clouds gather over head, and soon enough, its pouring (5 ENG @ Croaks).

Out for a little revenge, Croaks braces himself and slams his fist into the ground. For a moment, the field is silent, but then a steadily growing vibration shakes the arena. Some of the rock formations crack and fall apart while the ground splits open right through the center. Poor Silvermane is badly hurt during the Earthquake (15 DMG @ Silvermane, 5 ENG @ Croaks), which makes Croaks quite happy. However, even injured, Silvermane is capable of fighting back. He bounds forward, his teeth glowing a bright red before chomping down on Croaks’s neck (7 DMG @ Croaks, 2 ENG @ Silvermane)! The searing heat from the fire bite causes a burn on Croaks’s body to grow worse, and all the more painful.

Croaks lets out a low groan as his body begins to feel the effects of this battle. Concentrating, he takes the horrid pain and anguish from the burns and forms it into energy. His energy body glows white as glares at his opponent, who has taken the time to split into identical copies of himself (4 ENG @ Silvermane). Croaks lunges forward, but alas, his attack swipes straight through a copy of the fire type (4 ENG @ Croaks).

As Silvermane’s copies fade away, he watches Croaks curiously. The frog has split into copies of himself, yet they are in a circle around him (4 ENG @ Croaks). Silvermane stares straight at the real Croagunk and shakes his head while rolling his eyes. The Growlithe then concentrates, summoning the hot rays of the sun he feels the golden light pierce through the grey clouds and cover the field (4 ENG @ Silvermane).

Croaks’ clones dissipate as the final action of this turn commences. The poison frog lies down in the middle of battle and to catch some Zs (5 ENG @ Croaks). Slowly, Croaks’ body begins to heal (10 HP @ Croaks), though the burns seem to stay. Silvermane growls, intent on doing some damage, he takes in a massive amount of air and holds it in. The pup’s eyes are suddenly engulfed in flames as he spews out a massive kanji of fire. It strikes its target dead on, burning more of the frog’s flesh (15 DMG @ Croaks, 5 ENG @ Silvermane).

Silvermane is amused; his opponent is sleeping in the middle of the field, with no cover what so ever. Quite confident in himself he toddles up to the snoozing frog (10 HP @ Croaks), with one big and mighty breath, he exhales another Kanji of flames that smack straight into Croaks’ already toasty body (15 DMG @ Croaks, 4 ENG @ Silvermane).

Now looking like a piece of chicken left on the BBQ to long, Croaks groans and rolls over ever so slightly, dreaming of numbered Mareeps and tasty Flygons (10 HP @ Croaks). Silvermane repeats his last move, scorching his opponent again (15 DMG @ Croaks, 4 ENG @ Silvermane).

Completely charred black, Croaks is just waking up from the burning sensation he has all over when another Kanji of fire is blasted into his face (15 DMG @ Croaks, 4 ENG @ Silvermane). The frog screams, his entire body is crispy and black, and his flesh is sizzling from the constant heat. His burns are beyond bad, he’s just one big walking ember.

Time for another round! Croaks musters up the courage and strength to lift his arm. It glows and soon becomes encased in metal. As fast as he can, though he is greatly hindered by the burns, he races for Silvermane, who opens his mouth and blasts Croaks with a steady stream of fire (11 DMG @ Croaks, 3 ENG @ Silvermane). Croagunk falls to the ground, defeated by the rather peppy puppy.
