I doubt anyone here actually remembers me but I'm back. I write Pokemon fanfics...(started one a while back but...I stopped writing it and then I couldn't find this forum for a long time.) When I received a "birthday" email (forgot it was .net) from this website (on the 9th), I came back.

I only posted a poem at the Pokecommunity forums. That may be where some of you remember me from. But...it's good to be so remembered! I remember all of you, too! Maybe even from other Pokemon forums, not sure.

Well, Gavin Luper, I actually am (sort of) working on a new fic. I had some flops (I'm assuming they were because they were ignored) at Pokecommunity and I'd be glad to bring them here! Heh, I'm sure you don't want to read a flop.

Well, I'm doing a new story for this kid (I'm deciding whether to make him 13 or 10) who gets a starter Pokemon. I've been pondering what "R" names I can use. Not sure which will fit him best.

I'm also not sure if I should make up a new region or keep him in a current one. I may make up some new Pokemon for it, as well.

As for my fics in general, I tried a Naruto one (my current obsession) but nobody replied to it so I felt sad and I stopped writing it. It seemed I was the only one interested in Naruto at that particular forum...

Um, Dragonfree...what was my avatar? I don't remember having one here.

Also, I'm a Super Smash Brothers brawl addict at the moment. PM me for my Wii info and I'll gladly share it with you.

I like to make friends, and I hope that some of you will be interested in being my friend. ^_^

Thanks for all these warm welcomes (I can't believe I forgot to say that!), and hopefully I can raise my status as a fic writer here. That would be nice.

I also forgot to thank you, Gavin Luper, for saying happy birthday. Is it okay if I shorten it to Gavin sometimes? Kinda informal and you may not want me to address you like that.

lol don't worry. You can call Gav whatever you want. Frankly you can call anyone anything you want, because if anyone is uptight enough to get irked about what you refer to them as, they have some serious issues. I like to call Blademaster Blade, BM or Mr. Bump.

Anyhow, welcome back to the fold! For some wild reason, I'm in the mood to read a new trainer fic, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Only bit of advice I have, avoid the cliches. Rich coming from me, since I write a fic with a 'late first day wake up', Pokemon Professor, and a Bulbasaur. How's that phrase go? "Do as I say, not as I do?"
"R" names... hmm, the first one that sprang to mind was Reno. I have no idea why.

We can call Gavin whatever we want, eh? The possibilities... Anyway, yeah, most of us don't mind what we're called. Our usernames are usually a mouthful (or typeful) anyway. People call me misty, ms, Ada, whatever. And about 'R' names, what about Rosencrantz?

Still not sure how I can avoid cliches with the starter Pokemon (and region) thing. Got any ideas? What should I keep the same and what should I make up? Once I've got the framework for that laid out, I can seriously get into writing it.

I had named him Warren, but I may have to scratch that If an "R" name seems suitable...

I wanted him to have a fire starter (heh, not an arsonist), I mean a fire type starter Pokemon.

Hmm. I seem to remember somebody with the name Treeckachu and an avatar showing a Pikachu/Treecko splice with Treecko as the base. Was that not you?
