Ahh, the Plateau. My old stomping grounds! Folks, I'm back reffing yet another explosive match here...at the POKEMON LEAGUE! It's June, when all the trainers, after spending months training and battling, duke it out here to show themselves and the world who is the best of the best!

Wasting no time shredding through the astroturf, Roger puts his best foot forward, gracefully spinning on it while baring his claws. A second motion has the lizard spinning in the sky. However, his third set was duly disliked. as a stream of Water slapped into his midsection, followed by a second Pulse that slapped him on his back. Bobbing out from the ring of water that lined the Pokemon emblem in the center of the stage, Cliche's feelers bobbed lazily.

Yeah, he was unimpressed.

Roger: -3E/-9H +1 Atk ==///== Cliche: -6E

Dang type advantages. Roger snarled, only getting half of the benefit. running to the edge where Chiche was bobbing (kinda hard to not see a glowing neon green Pokemon..). He began spitting up! Cliche sneered and swam left, not only to avoid being hit, but now that part of the water was contaminated. Ewww. The Toxic invariably failed, and Roger now had to contend with 4 Chinchous all looking at him with that stupid face..

Oh well no..make that three. The water jets turned on to clean the water, and a clone was in the way.

Having a choice whom to attack, the even tempered Charmeleon pointed a claw at the Cliche on the right. his now balled up fist began to glow as he covered the distance necessary, before swinging erratically. The bad thing about hitting a Pokemon whom used Double Team and is a Water Type...

Yer gonna get wet eventually. That occurred for Roger, as he fell into the water-clone dissipating. Keeping his tail out above all else, the lizard quickly swam back up, but found himself in a nasty spot. Cliche's ran through the water, Sparking up his life voraciously. A hefty roar of anger came from Charmeleon, as the added exposure of the electricity helped him be thrown out of the water.

Roger lied on the island in the center of the stadium, just staring at the two Cliche's left.

===Round 2===

Cliche, keeping this match's momentum in his favor, begins by raising his feelers and creating a sparkling ball between them. The ball shoots skyward-and zips in many a direction. Roger spots the ball moving all all hectic, and dives right and left, in a attempt to avoid it.

His evasion however, starts to make trail clones. The Confuse Ray bends back down, and zaps Roger right on the head..causing him to..evaporate. No. Roger pulled off the Double Team just in time.

With both squads having multiple personas, this match becomes a three on two! Not worried about the odds now, Roger rears his head back and unleashed a Flamethrower at Cliche. Fearing the fire from all angles the dual fish swim back, ejecting a second pulsating light from their feelers. The Beam zips along side the Flamethrower of one of the Rogers, and slams into him!

And he disappears. Damn. The actual flames though also miss, and leave Cliche by himself once again.

With no real damage down this round, Roger decides to keep it that way. Furiously, he digs underground, even as Cliche comes barreling at him top speed. Before he finishes his hole though, he loses his last clone to the Sparking fish. Still, happy it worked, he jumped in the hole, and awaited next round..

OK Cliche, not too bad a last round, could have gone better. What I want you to do immediately is propel yourself upwards with a Water Gun. Hopefully he'll come up right into it. Then, I want you to combat his dragonbreath with an Ice Beam. Finally, I want you to wait until he grabs you for the toss, and smack him good with a discharge! Who knows, he may let go,lol.

===Round 3===

Flopping around like a dying fish, Cliche righted himself and bounced toward the water. But as with all flopping fish, they never seem to bounce correctly. But his bouncing tirade was being "watched" very carefully by Roger. Once the tremor was close enough to where he could predict where Cliche would land next, a violent series of slashes were done to propel him upward. Burrowing free, Roger shot upward, only to see a flash of blue?

The sky? No! Water! Shooting himself upward at the sign of the rising mound, Cliche fired the Water gun at the ground, catching Roger. Roger landed once again on mud, and Cliche fell a few feet away.

Sparking his joy over once again trouncing Roger, Cliche flipped backwards, nearly to the water's edge. He was duly ready to dive back in, but Roger wouldn't have that. Sprinting forth-flames of a draconic nature shot at Cliche, aiming to old him in his tracks. Cliche quickly forced an Ice Beam to retaliate, and the the two thin streams collided. The only advantage here was that Roger was moving in closer, and so was able to blast through Cliche's beam and strike him!

Finally! Hit the sucker!

Miffed, but happily in the water, Cliche swam around a bit to get his bearings. Regrouped, he turned, to notice Roger was no longer on the island in the middle. Turning to see when he could have jumped across, his feelers were grabbed out of the water. Roger immediately began to spin, swinging Cliche around like as if he was an Olympic hammer tosser. Having no choice, Cliche let out his pain in a fast Discharge of electrical energy. shocking Roger's hands and forcing him to release violently.

Cliche flew, and he know in the back of his mind...that was a bad idea. Slamming into the ground meters away, he rolled to a stop, a bit more hurt than he was accustomed to.

Roger rubbed his hands, and stood his ground, watching the grounded fish flop once more. Dance fish, dance.

===Round 4===

Cliche began to dance alright, miffed he was stranded from water, and separated from it by Roger. Knowing he could still make it, Cliche bounced around hurriedly, like he was on crack. It didn't look like it, but his movements were very intricate, showing how Agile this fish was even out of water.

Well, Roger took it one hit further, and slashed at the bouncing fish, avoiding a case of "broken ankles" syndrome. Cliche received a Aerial slash, which caused the fish to bounce. However, it was directly followed by an uppercut, that just knocked Cliche far skyward. Such a Dynamic combo.

Cliche landed, utterly dazed.

Confused, and tripped out, Cliche just spun in place for a moment, unsure what the hell was happening. Roger took the lapse in time to walk over and get in position, all the while building up a nasty surprise for Cliche.

Cliche, unaware of Roger's imminent proximity, began to flop around again, this time bouncing toward the water. Roger gave chase, knowing that the fish would gain an advantage if he made it. Using his "ace", Roger spat at the fish when he figured it was going to flop forward, and judged correctly! The Toxic slammed into Cliche, but it only helped in aiding the fish fly into the ring of water again.

While not washing off immediately, Cliche was able to complete its random Dance. It showed its results near immediately, as Roger felt his tail be hit by offending drops of water. Curling the tail around him a bit, Roger snarled at the confused and now poisoned fish. This was nowhere near over.

This rain would not do. Jumping around to avoid the raindrops, Roger waved his arms wildlyl urging the sun to come warm his body. The clouds parted, and they opened the way for Roger...

to get hit in the face with a Toxic. Cliche snickered at his cunning, and swam in the ring happily, keeping close to the edge just to ensure Roger's misery.

Sunny day : 2 rounds

Roger , wiping the gunk off his face and body, walked over toward Cliche, unafraid of the fish. The cracking of electric energy didn't deter him, as he began to build up a eerily blue fiery aura. Cliche fired the Thunderbolt hastily, trying to cripple the Charmeleon, but Roger answered back with a Dragonbreath of similar strength. Both attacks hit head on, causing enough of a volatile explosion that it threw Roger back and caused Cliche to feel some fallout in the water as well.

Bobbing back to the surface after that blast, Cliche peered out over the field. Where was Roger? In the blinding sunlight, it made this a bit harder to see. But his vision did not fail him. Roger was still there, just alot closer than he would have liked. Claws raked the water, slashing Cliche so hard he swore his Shadow felt it. Fished out of the ring of water once again, Cliche answered back with a Bubblebeam, that struck Roger's legs! Roger stumbled, and fell in the ring of water, bothering him to no end. Hastily he climbed out, obviously pained by that little dip.

Its an pretty even matchup so far, neither side really giving nor getting.

===Round 6===

As the sun beamed down upon the Indigo Plateau, Roger and Cliche were still duking it out. Roger however, now opted for the safe route, and began digging furiously. Watching with a bit of confusion, it didn't take Cliche long to realize that he was going to lose his target if he let him get away. Bounding out of the water like only a fish can, Cliche rapidly flipped at Roger...

only to miss his chance at hitting the salamander. Damn...

Watching as Cliche peered down into the hole, Roger began to dig around in confusing patterns. However, his wayward digging left a mark. He made a left where he should have made a right, and weakened a spot where the ring of water was closest to land. He didn't know it, but water was starting to seep into the ground.

Cliche didn't know exactly where his opponent was, but he had a surprise waiting. That is, until he was thrown viciously up in the air by a unfurrowed Roger. Roger had happiness for only a second, until that bright light seared his retinas a new shade of red.

Cliche landed, hurt by that attack, but glad as well. Being scared like that forced him to release his Flash, which just acted like a sun flare with all the extra daylight around.

Hurting, Roger took no chances, and began waling in a circle, billowing dark smoke coming from his mouth, He contained his fiery ability enough to Screen himself form view..at least, he hoped. In the center of the Smokescreen, he stayed quiet, waiting to be able to make out his own two feet.

Unhappy with the smoke-but appreciative of the fading light, Cliche shoot a Water Gun high in the air. It strafed one section of the screen, but to no avail. Lucky punk. Cliche flipped back into the ring of water, and watched...

===Round 7===

Roger, now getting tired and annoyed at this Chinchou with his tricks, went for an easy way to end it. Grab it and smash it. However, when Roger went to rope those feelers of Cliche's, he received a shock similar to the power of sticking a fork in an electrical outlet. Cliche felt he had enough after a minute, and stopped the charge, throwing Roger back quite a ways.

Painnful! Roger rolled over, trying to stand up. Cliche didn't stop there, as soon as the red spot began to move, a weaker series of Water Pulses rained down onto him, knocking him back even farther. Roger rolled to his side, hurting pretty bad. But that didn't stop him from standing up and covering the distance back to Cliche. Forking at the ground as he did, Cliche was in for a surprise, as a nasty deluge of the stage came Sliding into his ring of water, polluting it with Rocks and earth.

The initial aim of Rogers may have been off, but the Rock Slide was large enough to catch the fish and deal some damage. Cliche was forced back in the Ring, but now this created a interesting situation. A land bridge now allowed Roger to walk from the outer to inner sections without getting wet!

Cliche, pissed his home was polluted, wondered who was gonna clean it. Hopping up on the new dam, he flopped around, acting even more pained than before. Roger took the bait, with a twist. He began wailing as well, tail thrashing everywhere. Both Pokemon then bounced at each other, each using their sickness to aid their Facades. They bounced back from each other, equally knocked back.

Txc: 5% this round for Roger, 6% for Cliche, and for the moment, both look tuckered out. Roger was out of energy, but he could see again. Lime green never leaves your mind, really. Cliche was out as well-pretty even match to me.

Cliche strikes! A flurry of water shoots up, but it only hits dirt, as Roger digs to escape!! The fight is still on!!!

===Round 9===

Both Pokemon have done splendid his match, and it shows, as the fans roar for their favorites. Commendable battling styles have been used by the trainers-which is why we've been led on such an incredible journey thus far.

Roger though, is not finished with Cliche, and burrows over. The telltale ripple in the ground alerts Cliche to what's about to happen, and he tries to pre-empt this by forcing himself upward. A blast of Water hits the ground right when Roger bursts free of it, showering him. However, the burst is not sufficient to stop his upward motion, and he slashes and tail whips Cliche, bringing them both to the ground.

Both Pokemon land, and look at each other. Roger snarls, and Cliche manages to hop backwards. Fortunate for Cliche that he did flip backwards, as Roger keeled over, completely exhausted.

Cliche hacked, and lied on his side as well. The Toxic still took its toll...

Ok, this one is weird, because you guys are both fainted.

Roger fell first, so MLG would have lost, and you would have won, but the problem is that you are on your second Pokemon, but its not at 55% or below. So.. you would only get 2 points, and MLG 1 cause I'd hafta count it like a 1 on 1.

That's me thinking out loud. Its fun !
