Banjo-Tooie

I'm dying to play this game. BK was pretty cool and I've blitzed through it about ten times, but it's been years since I played Tooie and I remember it being slightly more satisfactory. Unfortunately it was sold along with my N64 + other legendary games when I got my Gamecube (like a trade-in).

Amazon has it though, but the cheapest is £39.99, which seems fucking expensive for an ages-old N64 game. I understand, however, that since it was released towards the consoles end, less were made, thus making it highly sought-after.

Is the game as amazing as I think, or has age deluded me? Is it worth £40? Or if anyone knows any cheaper places that could have it, please let me know!

Try eBay. Usually people are flogging off games cheaply on there.

Tooie was a great game, but worth £40 for replay? I certainly wouldn't. Not with all the great modern-day platformers you can get nowadays for cheaper. I recommend saving your beans or doing an eBay search.

Or, if you have a Wii, wait until it shows up for the Virtual Console.

I still have my copy. I don't play it anymore, but it was an awesome game.

I doubt it will ever show up on the Virtual Console, mainly because no Rare games so far have appeared (with the exception of DK, which Nintendo and Rare have a special deal concerning DK), and since Banjo is owned by Microsoft now.

eBay. How could I forget! Cheers guys. Thing is I don't have a Wii (future investment, and at £180 on Amazon I'd be a fool not to), and as far as GC is concerned, I have most what would be considered the 'good' games (save for Pokemon XD)

I just thought I'd mention that while Banjo isn't coming out on the Wii it is coming out on the XBox so maybe Banjo-Tooie will end up on the system someday.

I actually meant the original Banjo from N64 is coming out on Xbox on top of Banjo 3.
