Default ~*~*Magic the Gathering: Eldria (SIGN-UPS!)~*~*~

    Magic The Gathering
    Eldria

You have the Spark. The promise of being something more than you once perceived yourself to be. No longer confined to your native plane, you can now transverse the expanses of time and space.

It starts small. With a little concentration and will you can go somewhere else. It’s like teleporting from place to place, but only you can do it to travel to different planes. You have some spells as well, innate abilities that can terrify and bewilder others. These spells draw more upon you than any thing else you can accomplish. One is weak, and can be repeated fairly often. The second is a bit more powerful and creates a bit more wear on your mind and will. Thirdly, is a spell that is so powerful that it may leave you drained for days or even weeks.

You learn other spells of course, many from your home plane and others from those that you visit. These are tied to the land, and the Mana that binds the Multiverse together. The animals, creatures, even people are connected with the Mana. Through such an understanding, you can mark various creatures and summon them to your side. Even if they die in their home plane, the Mana that they are connected to allows you to summon them forth. For comfort, battle, connivance, it is your choice how you treat those summoned before the Mana whisks apart. Your knowledge is as expansive as the Multiverse, and your power allows you to gather such enlightenment.

Through some life-altering experience, your Spark awakened. You are no longer mortal, but not a god either. You are a Planeswalker. Walking the Multiverse for your own goals and desires. Be it for knowledge, power, or to stand above those that you deem inferior.

But, there are others though. Others with similar gifts and abilities. You find a similar soul with them, or perhaps a rival, someone who is a threat to your power and strength. Do you fight these others, or do you run in fear? Maybe you seek them out, searching for someone to challenge and prove your own dominance over them?

You are a Planeswalker. The Multiverse is your frontier, their creatures and inhabitants your allies, spells are your weapons, and other Planeswalkers are your adversaries.

    Is there nothing more?

    Perhaps.

Transversing Planes is dangerous and could leave a Planeswalker stranded among paths they are unfamiliar with. One such Plane is drawing the Planeswalkers towards it as its erratic course sends it through the expanse of the Multiverse. It collides with other Planes, draining Mana from them and into itself before the drained Plane collapses in on itself, unable to sustain its own existence. On its course, the Plane bounces against other Planes in an inter-dimensional game of “pin-ball.” Destroying those it comes into contact with.

Since its path is so erratic, Planeswalkers that inadvertently stumble into it, find it difficult to leave, and some have been there for years. Now, as more and more Planeswalkers find themselves on this wayward Plane, they find themselves either fighting for control, or working for their own escape.

You are trapped on this Plane, its sparatic movements through the Multiverse. Finding more Planeswalkers than you ever thought imaginable, do you side with them, keep to your own desires, or try to leave?

Perhaps there’s more to this Plane…

    Welcome.

    To Eldria.

From the creator of Chains of Dragons, Scourge, and Dual Nature comes an idea spawned from a favorite game of mine:

    Magic: the Gathering

Yes. It’s a Table Top Game. Yes. It involves cards and players and lots of rules. No. It is not like Yu-Gi-Oh (it’s better ^^).

In this game, YOU (yes, you) are a Planeswalker. Able to travel from plane to plane at your choosing (given enough time of course). Think of it like Dimension Skipping. You have a variety of spells that would make Archmages envious, as well as being able to summon whatever creatures that you have marked and bound to you through the Ćther.

So, for starters, some things to note: The following links are to some pages from Magic the Gathering’s Website on what it means to be a Planeswalker (basically, if you play with a deck, you’re a Planeswalker).

    The Known Multiverse
    Planeswalkers
Spark, an understanding of realizing you can transverse the planes
Era of the Planeswalker, Looking at an idea of how they react to their home world/plane and others.
    You are a Planeswalker
    Planes of Existence

The Planes are as expansive and diverse as anything imaginable. For an idea on the currently “known” Planes of the Multiverse, check the links above. To kinda… keep it simple characters for this RPG can make up a Plane for their characters to be from. (Earth and our plane is off limits… sorry guys. ^^U)

    The Sign-Up.

Now to the nitty-gritty of the RPG. You don't HAVE to be a Planeswalker if you would rather be a mortal creature dragged along for the ride, or a native of Eldria. In the case of the later, I’ll PM you with information pertaining to the Plane that only a native would know.

    Name:
    Age:
Home Plane: (can be any of the main ones or make up a new one. If using the known ones then please have a name that fits… Don’t name your character “Steve” if they’re from Kamigawa, a Japanese-style Plane. If you make one up, then just give a short description)
Race: (What race are you, human, goblin, elemental, Fae, ect. Take your pick. Planeswalkers are as diverse as the Planes themselves)
Main Mana: (Choose 1-3 of the five colors that your character has a major affinity and strength for. Just because they have one doesn’t mean they can’t cast spells from the other 4, it just means that they’re much stronger in that area and could still learn the other themed spells. Planeswalkers have access to all types of mana, and can draw it from the land in ways that make the mages of that Plane jealous)
    Personality:
    Appearance:
Spells: (I’d suggest glancing through Gatherer for some sample spells. Not an inclusive list, but gives you some idea how some things work. Just pick some Creatures, Sorceries, Instants, Enchantments, ect Just not other Planeswalkers. Just to give an idea of how ya think. Other spells can be created as well.)
Personal Spells: (The Planeswalker’s three ingrained abilities besides the ability to “jump” planes. Usually involves a fairly weak but easily repeatable ability. A second, stronger, but more taxing one. And finally a third, horrifyingly powerful and taxing)
History: (How’d you discover your spark? Tutored by a more experienced Planeswalker? On your own?)
Other: (Relationships, quirks, drives, dark secrets, themes?)

    Aaaand mine. ^^U

    Name: Drako Ralen
    Age: 26
    Home Plane: Dominiria
    Race: Human
    Main Mana: Red and Blue
Personality: Drako is both seemingly knowledgeable but devoid of common sense. His passion for life and his research is admirable, if he could manage to keep his attention to something for more than a month. His emotions run the gambit from deeply passionate to the point of a poet, to blazing red with Rage, to even nonchalant if someone yells at him. He’s learned not to be surprised at every little thing, but to take the knowledge in stride. As much as he’s seen, he’s expected to be surprised, and as such, is prepared (mostly) for it. He enjoys drinking with friends, getting hammered a time or two in good company. He’s somewhat of a womanizer, although the majority of his advances are met with slaps, punches, or kicks to some vulnerable areas. Sometimes he gets lucky in that aspect. Drako loves to tell stories from his travels, and has been known to get a free meal and some coin from those he’s spent the time to entertain. In combat and when summoning, he seems to be able to piece more of a chain of events, even deliberately misdirecting his opponents and being a bit more clear-headed and problem solving. He strikes as fast and hard as he can in a Duel, unleashing the full fury of his Dragon summons and flaming spells.
Appearance: Drako looks to be in his mid-twenties. His red eyes seem to radiate like lava, creating a sharp contrast between his iris and pupil, with a slight outer glow of light blue. His hair is long, shaggy, black, and just haphazardly thrown into a pony tail or let loose to flutter in the wind. His skin is a light tan, however not that leathery despite from Planeswalking for the last few years. A short beard seems to start accumulating around the edges of his jawbone, not thick enough to shave, but not light enough to be unnoticeable. The clothes he wears are a combination of comfort and durability. His tunic is long-sleeved, and reaches down to about mid-thigh, with a worn belt wrapped around his waist. Covering his hands are a set of brown gloves. His pants, like the rest of his clothes, are loose and both are tucked into the boots he wears. However the left leg is wrapped in bandages from the knee down to inside the boot, for reasons only Drako knows. The boots are lace-less, Velcro-less and seem to be just slip-ons. They are mostly blue with lines of read running along the tongue and sole, and run up to just under his mid-calf. Over all of this he wears a black hooded cloak that can hide his clothes as well as his face. The cloak appears to be ragged and worn, more than likely from near misses and dodging arrows, spears, and flaming balista. On another belt is a long great-sword with two curved points on the edge of the blade and the handle has two separate chain-links, possibly to attach to the belt or for another unknown purpose. He has an odd Artifact chained to one of his belts. It looks like a massive gemstone with other various stones set into the outlining features, each resembling the five colors of Mana. When close, someone can tell that the stones radiate Mana themselves, although it swirls and mixes, making others unable to determine what type of Mana that it draws upon.
Spells: Seething Song, Desperate Ritual, Rite of Flame, Shock, Fireball, Ghitu Fire, Arc Blade, Dragonstorm, Mind’s Desire, Last Word, Molten Influence, Braid of Fire, various Dragon summons, much much more…
Personal Spells: Drako’s personal spells, surprisingly, deal with Dragons and improving their odds for survival. His weaker spell is being able to shape a Dragon from the surrounding Mana. The Dragon is about the size of a cat, dog, or large snake (depending) and the color varies depending on what Dragon he’s looking for. Red Dragons are quick in combat, Blue Dragons manipulate the Ćther around themselves, Green Dragons are ferocious in combat, Black Dragons are terrifying to behold, and White Dragons seem to heal Drako when they attack.

The second spell is almost a morale boost for the Dragons. For every one on the field they get stronger and tougher to take down for a short while.

The third spell is something that Drako doesn’t use that often. By ripping the Mana essence from Dragons he can infuse one Dragon with the sacrificed abilities, and strength, making them a large monster that almost nothing can stop.
History: Before the spark, Drako was an aspiring student at a prestigious academy on Dominiria. His fiery passion and devotion to study made him a favorite (if not annoyance) to many faculty and students. When it came time for a project for their graduation, Drako knew what he wanted to do, but unsure of how to study it directly: Dragons. He headed to the mountains of Shiv and searched for the nest of the Shivan Dragon, a terror of the mountainous regions. He was assaulted by his own subject for study, the creature knocking him off the edge of the cliff behind him. In a burst of will and desire for life, Drako unlocked his Planeswalker Spark, managing to teleport his way out of the mouth of the Dragon and avoiding a splattering death. In a show of quick wits, he managed to Mark the Shivan Dragon and then summoned it forward to aid him. He returned to his academy both admired and feared. Drako went back to the Shivan Mountains, and ended up having a few run-ins with both the Goblins and the barbaric shamans that inhabited the hills. Captured by the barbarians, he was going to be put to the test in their battle arena. Seeing no other way out, he summoned the Shivan Dragon and received the barbarian’s respect for commanding the Dragon. He was taught some of the shaman’s ways, which only partly made sense to him. As Drako spent time with the barbarians, he marked a few of them, and also came into contact with more Dragons that he was able to mark as well. One day, the camp was visited by another Planeswalker named Sarkhan Vol. Drako found out more about the Multiverse, and decided to travel with the flaming shaman to learn more. However, he found himself and Vol had differing ideals pertaining to Dragon-kind. Vol searched for one worthy of his worship, while Drako wanted to know more about them, to study them. An argument broke down into a Planeswalker Duel, which Drako ended up having to forfit and run because of his own inexperience. Drako continued to travel the Planes, searching for Dragons and researching the differences between them all. His latest attempt ended up with him on trial. It was Drako vs the Plane of Ravnica. Apparently pissing off the Dragon Wizard, Niv-Mizzet wasn’t such a good idea, but it was fun, and Drako had marked the majority of things that had caught his eye on the Plane before he was caught and put on trial. In the confusion he managed to slip away and to the Blind Eternities, to ponder his next destination, when he was the victim of a “hit-and-still-running” (as he puts it).
Other: He has a small version of the Gemstone Array from the Mirrodin Plane. It is just as effective as the larger version, however it takes much longer to store Mana on it. He can also summon the actual Artifact when prompted to, but he uses the smaller version for convenience. It lets him draw mana from the land and then turn it into what type of Mana he needs at the moment. Drako’s biggest strength is also his weakness. He uses lots of Mana to summon some difficult creatures, such as Dragons and their kind. It requires a lot of Mana to summon and sustain them, and he usually uses the Array in such a fashion, however he tends to forget how much mana he has stored on there and can find himself scrambling for more Mana in the middle of a fight. To this end he’s still learning how to deal with it. Drako also has books on his person, some personal journals detailing his thoughts and dissections on the Planes he’s visited, as well as some other books he’s “borrowed” from other Planes. If he comes across his Mentor ever again, he may have to settle the score and show him that you can worship a dragon all you want, but it doesn’t help you understand it.
Themes: No Future (Akiawa Nanase), and Endless Possibilities
    Stereotypes:
Red: The embodiment of expression and passion for what is not yet known. True freedom that cannot be stopped by mere boundaries.
Blue: Knowledge is power, and understanding something, gives you power over it.
Green: Nature abides by its own ordered chaos, but the wilderness can only support itself for so long before it collapses.
White: Order begets Revolution. Revolution involves Chaos. Chaos dies down to Order.
Black: Death comes for all things. Impulse and drive are what we have to live with.

Name: Aericonix De'Virsus ("Call her Aeri")
Age: 'Tis rude to ask a lady her age; appears to be mid twenties, by human reckoning.
Home Plane: Virsus, an Abyssal plane destroyed by an unknown force.
    Race: Half human, half deamon
Main Mana: Red, Black, and White
Personality: Sassy, cheeky, and sexy; she's got it, knows, and it's afraid to let it show. She enjoys coming across as egotistical, and why not? She's powerful and beautiful. When confronted with a "lesser being" such as a human, she fears not to put the creature in it's place with either well-placed insults or seduction, or even a little bit of both. After a while, she can mellow out, but don't expect to be let completely off the hook. While not stupid, she's not actively intellectual, and those who are can irritate her greatly. Her interests lie more in the physical realm, so wordy braniacs, look out.
Appearance: Tall, slender, with red-orange skin, long black hair, yellow eyes with vertical pupils, two small horns curving in along her hairline, a three-foot long prehensile tail (wonder what she can do with that one, eh?), and huge bat-like wings. Other than the demonic traits, she holds a classic beauty about her, which is made dangerously sexy by her mother's blood.
Spells: Call For Blood; Bog Witch; Coffin Queen; Chainer, Dementia Master; Choice of Damnations; Cranial Extraction; Cuombajj Witches; Dakmor Sorceress; Dark Ritual; Darkness; Deathknell Kami; Demonic Tutuor; Fallen Angel; Obliterate; Akroma, Angel of Fury; Akroma, Angel of Wrath; Akroma's Vengeance; Akroma's Blessing; and so on...
Personal Spells: 1) Shriek- High-pitched screech stuns those in the immediate area for up to ten seconds.
    2) Mana Drain- Uses the land around her to power her spells; if they align with her personal mana, she gains a bonus boost.
    3) Dirge Inferno- Using her inner wrath, flames burst from her body, lending extra oomph to her physical attacks and dispelling any binds.
History: Offspring of an evil Planeswalker and a summoned succubus; after the deed, the Planeswalker lost control of his summon and she ate him. She came into her own as an adolescent and taught herself, with her mother's aid, how to control her power. She felt that something was wrong with her home hours before it's destruction, and has vowed revenge on whomever is responsible for the loss of her mother, a powerful demoness in her own right.
    Other: Theme- Devilicious, Angelspit.

Has fly as a racial ability.

    Interested, will make character.
I am the edge of my shape.
Squared is my face and cubed is my volume.
I have proved over a thousand theorems.
    Variable to rational,
    Variable to imaginary,
    These polygons hold many numbers,
Yet these polygons will remained unsolved.
    So, as I calculate,

Just a note, as I've stated in the Away Topic, these next 10 days or so are going to be, really hectic for me, so I'm not going to be around much. However, for a deadline I have decided on a start date for the RPG.

Magic the Gathering: Eldria will start on October 31, Ole Hallow's Eve, which is appropriate I think. So please try to get your guy's Sign-ups done ASAP, any questions and I shall try to answer them.

    Until then, Later!

Default Re: ~*~*Magic the Gathering: Eldria (SIGN-UPS!)~*~*~

    Name: Viatrix Miff

    Age: 16

Home Plane: Her plane was absorbed; she describes it as being a paradise full of magic and machines. But past nothing is known.

Race: Sprite (Looks like a teenaged human, but shorter.. A lot shorter…)

Main Mana: Blue - White - Green

Personality: Light and happy, Viatrix doesn't let anything get her down and often ends up cheering up others. No one can resist her childish charm, and some can't believe how she can find the bright side in any situation. She can be serious and mature, but Viatrix often finds that the others pull that off fine. So she can fill in the position of child. She can't lie worth a damn though, and hates being picked on for being a kid. Being a Sprite, she can be very spiteful if crossed; until she forgives the said person, their luck becomes very, very bad for a while.

Appearance: Short, standing only about 2’3’’, Viatrix probably won't grow any taller but she's hopeful. She has shoulder length fire engine red hair with gold blended in, and always has her hair, save for her bangs, in pigtails. She wears a white t-shirt with blue overalls that have been crudely cut into shorts. Around her waste is a tan belt with a small purple pouch, a screwdriver, and a hammer hanging off of it. Viatrix wears black combat boots that seem a bit too large for her, but she doesn't care. She also has numerous, colourful bracelets she tends to play with. Viatrix has a pair of black-rimmed googles as well, which only cover her eyes when they're desperately needed.

Spells: She summons machines, and machine related things... Her spells either boost her machines power, or help them out in some way, shape or form.

Personal Spells: Viatrix doesn't really have a name for her spells; they all depend on the circumstances. Her easiest spell is turn her screwdriver into a high-tech looking rifle that relies on the same power core her warriors do. Though somewhat difficult, her second spell is to form an indestructible shield around herself like a bubble, temporarily protecting her from harm. Her third and final spell turns one of her precious machines into a behemoth of mechanical engineering, a massive, hulking mechanized machine that has four enormous cannons on its back, a cockpit for Viatrix, two huge anti-matter cannons on either arm, and armour plating that is incredibly hard to crack. When the Behemoth walks the ground shakes for miles, those close to its feet say it feels like an earthquake.

History: Viatrix grew up in a plane where everything was peaceful and war was an extremely rare occurrence. This all changed however, when planeswalkers began to show up and fight each other. Her people, wanting to avoid the fighting as much as possible, didn't oppose the planeswalkers. Viatrix remembers distinctly how certain planeswalkers would summon Dragons and fight each other, as side result is that they destroyed anything around them. This fuelled her distaste and eventual hatred for Dragons, but she also disliked how Planeswalkers marked creatures without their permission and just thought that they could summon them without any regard.
Viatrix received her spark when a dragon, summoned by one of the planeswalker, turned on her village. The massive beast destroyed everything; she however, was saved, when she summoned a protective bubble around herself and her father. The Dragon disappeared after that, but the damage remained. Viatrix asked her father to create for her, a creature meant for summoning, and that was hers.
She received her first creation on her eleventh birthday. It was a small machine held together by a magickal spark and was, for all intensive purposes, scrap metal given life. A couple years later she had many machines at her disposal and ventured out into her plane to find the man who summoned that horrible dragon.
She did find him, and Viatrix showed him the 'mercy' he showed her village. She summoned to her side a massive, yet crude looking tank, and blew his precious Dragon out of the sky in one, powerful strike. Afraid, the planeswalker ran, and eventually teleported to another plane. Viatrix, needing to finish her revenge, attempted to follow him. She teleported to two other planes before trying to return home, and ended up in Eldria

Other: She can fly due to being a Sprite.

I'll post Lucien later, that file's on the downstairs comp and I'm being notoriously lazy at the moment...

Default Re: ~*~*Magic the Gathering: Eldria (SIGN-UPS!)~*~*~

    Name: Frasneur the Mimick
Age: (We have ages when we can pretty much be immortal?) Appearing 24
Home Plane: Esper in the Plane of Alara seems to fit quite well
Race: Shapeshifter, original (and main) form Human
Main Mana: 70-80% Blue, 10-20% White for disenchants/protections, a bit of everything else for Licids
Personality: Enthusiastic, curious, and a bit of a trickster, Frasneur never seeks to cause any serious trouble and never really wants to get involved in any real trouble either. His main passion lies in his interest to study the workings and mechanisms of spells themselves, seeking to travel between different dimensions to observe new spells and determine how they are cast. His ultimate goal is to create an archive of every spell in existence across all planes. Consequently, most of his skills involve spells which counter, destroy, or thwart other spells, because, like science, most of the time the best way to learn something is to break it up and study what's inside... Because of this, Frasneur is more of a nuisance rather than a formidable opponent, however his skills become very valuable to allies.
His major interest in spells lies in enchantments, as seen by his associated interest in Licids.
Appearance: Mostly like any other typical human wizard, as he does not particularly wish to stand out unless it is necessary. He has medium length darkbrown hair, wears a average normal robe and wears a small pair of spectacles. Always seen with something like a pocketbook at hand and associated with what appears to be a shy little girl always clinging onto his robe.
Depending on the environment he is in, he may change his appearance to fit in accordingly. For example he may take the appearance of an elf if he is occupying an elf community; he may disguise himself as a goblin if he's roaming the mountains; or he may change his shape to that of a merfolk should he be drifting at sea with the sea creatures. Though his racial features change, most of his regular features (medium length brown hair, spectacles, robe) remain the same. The small girl along with him changes her default appearance depending on where they are as well. If they are in a multiracial community, his default appearance is human.
Spells: His main arsenal consists of all types of counterspells you can think of (Counterspell, Forbid, Last Word, Dissipate), all types of tap spells you can think of (Twiddle, Mind Games), all types of "return _____" cards you can think of (Boomerang, Capsize), and Disenchants. He uses a few enchantments such as Circle of Protections and Propaganda for his own protection. He has a few useful items for his research, such as Scroll Rack and Isochron Scepter. His rather small army of creatures consists of Licids (mostly for study but they can be pretty useful) and a Shapeshifter familiar which usually takes the form of a small girl, but can transform pretty much into any creature in front of her or that she has in her memory, to a reasonable extent.
His familiar is his only main creature he has that attacks and defends him from others.
    Personal Spells:
Discern: Being very keen on how the basics of all spells works, he can generally counter ANY spell with any kind of counterspell, even spells that have been stated on the card "Cannot be countered." The only spells he cannot counter are "ultimate" (level 3) spells that each Planeswalker uniquely has; all others are fair game for him.
Shapeshifting Planeswalker: Having some shapeshifting qualities he somehow acquired on his own with the help of his familiar, he can (if he deems necessary) turn into any planeswalker in his presence and gain all the same spells and abilities as that planeswalker except his/her level 3 spell. Essentially he becomes that planeswalker for a short period of time and can fight like that planeswalker as well. When he does so he loses his own normal spells (counterspells, twiddles, etc) unless of course that planeswalker uses them too.
Unlimited Card Works Library of Domina: His ultimate spell allows him and his allies to use ANY spellcard in existence that is currently known (aka listed within the Gatherer thing). Mana is no longer an issue, therefore it does not matter how much mana you can or cannot generate, nor if the color is correct or not, you can just summon anything in existence of you are within Frasneur's spell field. Takes a lot out of him and he typically doesn't find allies he would bond to that's worth casting the spell for (except possibly his loli shapeshifter), but hey, that's what he has.
History: Frasneur was mostly a regular archiver in his home dimension of Esper except he seemed phenomenally more intelligent and advanced than his other fellow wizards. Eventually through his studies he managed to discover the art of planeswalking and saw how this can benefit his studies immensely. Elated, he began preparing himself and promptly jumped from one dimension to the next. Somewhere along the way he felt that it was becoming rather boring and somewhat lonely to travel alone, seeing how he rarely summoned any creatures besides Licids, therefore conjured up a shapeshifter as his companion and his guardian. He confined the form of the shapeshifter to a small, mute girl to appear less out-of-place.
Also somewhere along the way (most likely as a result of tampering with enchantments too much, or while creating his shapeshifter familiar) his genetic makeup was altered and he found he can change his own appearance, to a limited extent.
    Other:
The mute girl has a mind of her own and sees her master as if he was her father. She is quite intelligent and has an opinion of her own at times, which she shows quite often with a dissatisfied look when Frasneur does something or says something stupid. However all in all she's very protective of him.
Also, I always kind of sucked at Magic and hence my character would really suck as an offensive/fighting character, but since it doesn't seem like this is a "BEAT UP THE OTHER PLANESWALKER TO RULE ALL DIMENSIONS" type of RPG I think my character will be just fine.
For reference, the little girl's name is Amilia. Frasneur nicknames her "Ami" at times.

EDIT: I MAY make an NPC sheet char for Amilia later.

    other character! :3

    Name: Lucien the Fallen

    Age: Appears 26

Home Plane: His plane has no name, it’s a rotting world void of any life. The trees are grey, the rivers are black, thick with disease… Interesting part of it is that everything is made up of floating islands of bleakness. There are pieces of towers and buildings floating along as well.

    Race: Demon / Undead

Main Mana: Black - Red - White

Personality: Lucien, as charming and wonderful as he seems, is a notorious liar. He absolutely hates letting anyone in, so most of the time he politely tells people that it is none of their business. Lucien is secretive, most of the quiet and contemplating, not reacting unless he's sure. One of his lesser desirable qualities is that he's sarcastic towards people he doesn't approve of. Otherwise he's polite and someone who everyone wants to be around. He's a good listener, and often has good advice, of course, there's a dark, morbid and sadistic side to him he hides. He'd rather watch others suffer, and let them reach their own demise.

Appearance: An attractive man, Lucien stands at six foot one, with a lean build. He's a bit pale (not badly so), with dead blue eyes. His hair is soft brown, and slightly wavy, coming down to his shoulders in a controlled manner. He wears a red dress shirt with a black jacket over top and black pants with nice shoes. Lucien is always well groomed, always appearing his best no matter what. If he does happen to get angry, his eyes turn black with what looks like a flame burning behind the black glaze.

Spells: Revolves around dead things, and making things dead. >.>

Personal Spells: Devour – At the sacrifice of a random NPC, Lucien eats said person alive, healing himself and banishing his hunger pains until the next time.
    Multi-Pentagram – Summons Three Demons
Herald of the Archfiend – Lucien transforms into the Archfiend (with some minor differences), when in this state he is mostly (one or two people might stand out in his mind) unable to tell friend from foe and will destroy ANYTHING that gets in his way.

History: Lucien discovered his spark when it brought him back to life. Lucien was dead for a very long time, he awoke in his crypt with a fright and used his new power (which he didn’t understand) to escape the coffin and make his way to the surface. Lucien was terrified to find that he no longer had to breathe, and lacked a heartbeat. His sense of taste was gone, and touch is diluted as well, but otherwise the spark restored him to prime condition. Except, patches on his back and chest are missing skin and sometimes flesh, exposing ribs and a useless organ system.
This new threat terrifies him (he doesn’t show it though), as for a long time Lucien lied in the dark, stuck in-between life and death, in a sort of limbo. If the threat takes away his spark, Lucien will return to that horrible state. It quickly dawned on Lucien though, that even if he can move around and think now, he is, in a sense, still in that horrible state. He searches for a way to restore himself and his plane back to the way it was. Using his Devour power, he can temporarily regain his senses and feel alive again, but it fades, so he needs to find a permanent solution.

Other: Being he’s undead (not that anyone knows), he doesn’t react to pain (most people view this as a very HIGH pain tolerance) the same and he is a bit more physically stronger than others, as well, as certain senses are enhanced (ability to sense fluxes of mana, especially in people, night vision, smell: when it comes to blood [wahaha; blood scent...]).

Default Re: ~*~*Magic the Gathering: Eldria (SIGN-UPS!)~*~*~

    Name: Enzo Tolkees
    Age: 24
Home Plane: Arctinio- a plane covered under a blanket of snow. This permanent winter has forced the inhabitants and plant life to adapt to the cold, with his people using ice as constructs. A number of people have grown curious by the unsual fauna and flora who have grown and evolved to survive in this cool climate
    Race: Human
    Main Mana: Blue, Green.
Personality: a cold as the ice and snow he controls, and highly intelligent to boot. He remains cool in lost every situation (only in the most dire does he show fear, anger, etc.). He has a thirst for knowledge and is eager to learn anything new. If he learns something, he’ll almost instantly right it down in the lexicon he’s always carrying. He becomes irritated by stupidity, but his calm and polite demeaner prevent him from being too insulting.
Appearance: He appears younger, around 19, but his icy blue eyes show his true age. His face is smooth, with pale, almost flawless skin and pale blue hair which falls unceremoniously in front of his face. He stands at about 5’7’’ with a thin build, normally hidden under his robes. He normally wears a blue robe with a hood with white fur trim. One can notice white fur-lined boots under his robe, but what else he’s wearing is uncertain.
Spells: Frozen Solid, Frostweb Spider, Coldsteel Heart, Ohran Viper, Phyrexion Snowcrusher, Rimehorn Aurochs, Rimefeather Owl, Arcum’s Weathervane, Adarker Windform, Blizzard, Snow Devil, Phyrexion Ironfoot
    Personal Spells:
Chill of the Land – He can cover the land around him with ice and snow, turning it into a Snow Land.
Frosted Knowedge- This will allow Enzo’s mind to slow down enough for him to pick any two spells from his Library.
Glacial Titan – This allows Enzo to call forth a powerful artifact creature formed from steel, ice, and snow.
History: Enzo always had a thirst for knowledge, even as a child. He did well in hi studies, going beyond what was expected of him out of sheer curiosity. In his late teens, he began to study the very nature of magic itself, and dove into his studies even harder when he learnt of the existence of multiple planes, and more importantly, the Planewalkers.

Enzo discovered his spark when he accidentally summoned a Frostweb Spider when he was about twenty. Using his knowledge of the Planewalkers, Enzo began to experiment with his new found abilities, mostly through trial and error. Eventually, after a couple of weeks of non-stop experimentation, Enzo managed to get at least a basic grip on his powers. Deciding there was more to learn and study outside of his Plane, Enzo left his home and began scouring the planes, expanding his knowledge, and his abilities in his travels. Those who met him came to know him as “The Frozen Scholar”, due to his first for knowledge, and love for cold.

However, as of late, Enzo has found himself drawn to the plane of Eldria. He has grown curious of it. How has it been able to move and drain the mana from others? Why is it so difficult to leave? What other secrets does this pinball of a plane possess? The Frozen Scholar has now come to find out.
Other: Nobody may gaze into Enzo’s lexicon. He forbids it.

Not to complain or anything especially since Green is being underused, but at least according to the M:TG website doesn't it say that there's not a trace of red or green mana in Esper because of the whole division thing, and the fact that Esper is almost pure Blue therefore having none of its antagonistic colors?

    Name: Scelia
    Age: 19
Home Plane: Arkodon. A plane stagnant with various politics and little in the way of free action or will. Manipulation is the name of the game and in order to survive, you have to count on your wits to see the next sunrise.
    Race: Human
    Main Mana: Black and Blue
Personality: At first appearances, Scelia seems to be more suited to a high-class lifestyle. Her charm has gotten her into many places. The cool, mellow feeling she gives is often mixed with a aristocratic charm and grace. Words roll off her tongue like a purring cat and her touch seems to excite anyone, man or woman. Beneath this is a darker side, one of manipulation and subterfuge. Scelia deals mainly in information, gaining it from people, and more appropriately, without their consent. Manipulative, she isn’t afraid to use her spells and creatures to get what she wants from anyone or everything around her. As long as she comes out on top, victims be damned.
Appearance: Scelia is tall, near an imposing 6 feet. Thin and curvy, she has long midnight-black hair that goes down to her hips. Her eyes are black, with some reflections of blue in the iris depending on lighting. Scelia always wears long black dresses that seem to form from shadow themselves. She also has long arm warmers that go up to halfway up her upper arms and black heels don her feet. The dress has a split up to the left hip.
Spells: Choice of Damnations, Cranial Extraction, Raven’s Crime, Cunning Lethemancer, Auger of Skulls, Abyssal Nocturnus, Moonlight Bargain, Szadeck, Lord of Secrets, Grozoth, Ravenous Rats, Glimpse the Unthinkable, Blizzard Specter.
Personal Spells: Scelia’s easiest ability is for her to get inside the head of another Planeswalker, seeing what they might be scheming at the time. Her other ability is for her to tear the information right out of a rival (or friendly) Planeswalker’s mind, making their spell hers for a short while. While the Planeswalker will eventually remember the spell, Scelia uses it to its most devastating in difficult matches. Her third and final ability could leave a Planeswalker comatose for years. She dives into the Planeswalker’s very soul, digging through for information plucking out individual spells and instantly casting them out of the Planeswalker’s mind and to the Blind Eternities. When she’s finished, it usually leaves her opponents in a coma and unable to do much else but babble incoherently.
History: Scelia has always been one to survive. From a large family she had a good way of getting the other siblings in trouble and getting away with it scott-free. Even as she grew, she was using her own ways to get into various charges and increase her own ranking in the social ladder. Studying spells of manipulation and subterfuge, she was soon one of the most dangerous and desired members of the city’s high society. However, all of her ambitions and charm couldn’t save her from nearly losing her life.

She had managed to infiltrate a mansion of sorts, winning over the lord of the manor. However when she tried to seduce him into letting his guard down, she had gotten a bit careless and activated a trap sygil that he had placed for just such an emergency. Her attempts to dive into his mind ended up with her paralyzed for a few minutes while the lord called for his guards to dispose of her. In the next minutes of her frozen form, she saw what was going to happen to her. The guards took her to a deserted part of the forest and were going to kill her and then dispose of the body, leaving it for the wildlife.

In the seconds she saw them raise the sword and prepare to strike down, her life flashed before her eyes and the Planeswalker spark ignited within. In a burst of Black Mana she reduced the two guards to skeletons as shadows swirled around them, ripping the flesh from their bones. Brimming with power she returned to the manor to gain the information she had come to collect, she stole the minds of the guards and left the lord of the house a gibbering mess.

Later did she realize that she could pull the Mana from the land and started to use her abilities to look into the minds of others for spells and summons that she could use. Picking their brains when one day she stumbled upon another one like her. In their mind she found that there were other Planes, other realities, and just as many secrets. With that information she practiced jumping from place to place before stumbling onto the Blind Eternities and then to the Multiverse itself.

She was attracted to Eldria and when she came here, she found something… something that could give her all that she could ever need…
Other: Scelia doesn’t have any family that she speaks of, and any mention of them is with a short word and then a change in conversation. She can use her charm to get into people’s heads without them even knowing. Often she’s not a front-line fighter, but prefers to use the shadows and a little bit of unpredictability to take her opponents off guard. Themes: Coming soon.
