Okay, well, I also think it should go in Misc, so I think I will move it back. We can question each other, I can't speak for Lady V cause I don't know what her 'intentions' were, but I'll state mine if they're good enough. But yeah, if you're gonna ship something to PCG, add a tag.

I don't know what you mean by proxy but here's why. It's not really a game, not yet at least, and it's not really a poll either. It's everyone throwing out ideas, so it's kind of in discussion territory. Maybe if this thing is ever used later, it would definitely be a poll/game, right now it's just ideas, it's all in theory, no one is answering any question. So, off to Misc this goes.

I have no problem with this being in Misc. GD is for the general discussion of Pokemon in general (duh) and while this may be better suited in PCG, he is trying to collaborate a quiz. So what the hell. Besides, if you want to talk about the forums, people usually do it here anyway.

Here are my thoughts: instead of making this like those stupid 'YOU KNOW YOU'RE (blank) WHEN YOU' and then a list of retarded things, we could make this like Achievements like on XBox Live or Steam. For example, reaching 1000 posts could be called 'Millennium Milestone', or catching all 150 in RBY could be called 'Red-Blue-Yellow Round-Up'. Then, if you really wanted to, make little 70x70 pixel images to go with it, then people can put them in their sigs or something.

Considering the archives are pretty barren right now, I don't think that's a good gauge of whether it's epic or not. Maybe we could do levels of epicness, like "You've created a thread that became a hot thread", "One of your threads lasted over a year", etc.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1) We must decide whether we have a mix of all the formats (statement, question, Heald's idea of achivements etc.) or we make all the items the same format. If the latter, which format. That's why I created a poll, but you can also comment verbally here if you have good arguments.

2) Only I have suggested result descriptions. We need your contribution, otherwise mine will have to do.

3) We have 112 items so far. I put two deadlines: We'll stop posting items when we have 200 of them or we'll stop posting items when it's the 22nd of December. Your own timezone, I assume this isn't that serious and you won't cheat, will you?

4) We must decide the way to vote for the 100 items. If nobody else suggests one, we'll do it like I suggest. I suggest that each poster chooses 20 items and the ones with most votes get chosen. If there's a tie or several ties, we'll vote again for the items in question.

5) Once we have the 100 items down, we must decide an order that makes sense. At least I'll post my proposition, and if you agree with it, we shall do it that way.

As far as these prospective names go, I know a lot of them are a bit crap, so here's my idea: for the forum specific ones, assign a mod from that forum to name them. And can we get rid of some of the ones which are exactly the same, except change the number of times you've done it? It's just pointless. If you're the kind of guy whose posted in more than 5 polls, you've probably done it at least 20 times, making most of the awards pointless.

At most, each forum gets 10 specific awards, and I'm sure you guys can come up with some better ones than the ones we have.

I can see your point, and I'm not questioning our moderators, but it's just that some of them have already posted in this quiz thread and it seems some of them aren't interested anymore because this topic gets no more suggestions. And we all, including I and others who aren't mods, seem to have run out of ideas. And about the number of awards per forum, I don't know if I got what you meant, but there's no space because we also have to have lots of general questions.

I hope this doesn't sound rude to anyone, I'm just trying to wake up people. Reading this post of mine may make you even more bored, though, I'm afraid.

It depends on us all if we'll complete the quiz. Aside from inventing the new items like Heald proposed, one thing we can do now is to test how good scores we get this far, so we can know what direction we should take the thread with the remaining items. For instance Heald, shazza or firepokemon should get a lot more points than say, Mikachu Yukitatsu or Master of Paradox (no offence to either side) if the quiz is realistic.

I myself didn't count the two repeats and got 26 out of 67 so far. It seems realistic to me, but we need more people to test.
