[u]Blademaster
VS
Phantom Echo
Round One
Arena: Lego Fortress: It's a LEGO courtyard, about 20x20, surrounded by castle walls, parapets, and other such fortress detail, all made of giant LEGO's. A few LEGO trees are scattered around, too. The only think that isn't LEGO is the 10x10 pond in one corner, for fishlike Pokemon.
With enough force, the LEGO's can be knocked over; being hit by them will do varying amounts of damage, depending on whether a few of them rain on your Pokemon or a whole damn rampart collapses on it.

Pre-Battle
Getting stuck in the middle of a sandstorm is not fun, was virtually everyone apart from Hippopo was finding out. The ground pokemon simply stood there, one again ignoring the sand hitting its side as it stared at the sleeping Seedot not far from her. The small pokemon was still out of it, sand still hitting his sides. M_C wouldn’t have been surprised if the small thing had ended up buried by the end of this round. He was going to find out though as the round was now starting!
Battle
Deciding to take full advantage of Blade’s newfound sleepiness, Hippopo decided to show her contempt for the small plant pokemon. Slowly walking up to him, the hippo spat on him. Ouch. However, this was no ordinary spit. This was a purple, poisonous kind of spit, but still, the contempt is there.
However, maybe it wasn’t so smart to get right up close to him. Because at that point, a very loud sound, almost suspiciously like a yawn emitted from the small pokemon, despite the fact that it seemed to be lacking a mouth. Hippopo stumbled back, partially because of the pain caused by the sudden loud sound, but mainly out of surprise that something that small and create noise that loud! Blade however still laid there, being battered by the sandstorm.

Blade [4E 2H Poisoned]
It seems that being spat upon, combined with the buffing sand seemed to rouse the little seed pokemon. He blinked a couple of times, getting the sleep out of his eyes as he looked through the sandstorm at the dazed Hippopotas, trying to remember what he was supposed to do. Finally remembering, the small seed began to frantically dig into the ground, spinning around like a drill as he lacked arms.
Meanwhile, much to Blademaster’s chagrain, all Hippopo could do was twitch and flinch, still reeling from the effects of that previous snore.
Hippopo [Flinched]
Blade [6E]
Hippopo finally snapped out of it, only to find that her opponent was gone, only leaving a small hole in the ground, too small for her to go in after him especially. She remembered what her master ordered her to do, but she couldn’t without an opponent to hit.
At that point, they noticed the sandstorm dieing out, and the sun shining brightly down upon them. Somewhere underground, a small seedot was chuckling. Hipoppo however did what was natural at the moment, and let out a bellow of frustration. This seed was really starting to piss her off!
It would have cheered her up a bit though if she had seen Blade tense up as the poison started to burn him.

Notes:
Stealth Rock didn’t happen due to flinching caused by Snore.
As he used only one action for Dig, I assume that Echo just wanted Blade to burrow underground, not come back up.
Phantom Echo attacks first.
