Welcome to [GAME] 20-100 Word Pokemon (LV Approved)

The goal of this game is to go through every single Pokemon from Bulbasaur to Manaphy. In the order of National Pokedex. Each post will introduce one Pokemon. It may be a description, your opinion on the Pokemon, a short story, a poem, or whatever you like. The story may involve other Pokemon as well, but you must start the post by mentioning the main Pokemon. After you have mentioned it, you may use from 20 to 100 words to tell us about it.

Remember the general rules, including that you'll have to wait for two other persons to post before you can post again. And you can post only five times per 24 hours.

Staryu evolves into Starmie with Water Stone. A TPMer named Starry Might always greets a new person with a Starmie. The most noticable Starmie in Pokemon anime is probably Misty's one.

Ash's mother has a hard-working Mr. Mime. The Pokemon helps mrs Ketchum with cleaning, washing dishes, cooking and other various housework tasks.

I love Scythers. I like green, and those scythes look cool. I have Scyther often in my team in Pokemon games. I once beat the Elite Four by using my Scyther only.

So, have fun! I know that sometimes two or more persons post about at the same time, but it doesn't matter if a few Persons tell about the same Pokemon. It just gives the first poster an extra turn, in a way.

001 BULBASAUR
When I started playing my Pokemon Red, I picked Bulbasaur. I like Grass type Pokemon in general (another favourite type of mine is ice, by the way) but the problem is I already had Bulbasaur and there shouldn't be too many Grass types if I want a balanced team. Perhaps I should take a monotype challenge then.

Now the next person will talk about Ivysaur.

002 IVYSAUR
Ivysaur always seemed like an underappreciated Pokemon to me. Everyone always wanted to evolve theirs into Venusaur. Really, though, if Ivysaur got any bigger it would be too slow to dodge attacks. The middle evolutionary stage is perfect for it, as Ivysaur has the perfect combination of power and agility. That's why it was chosen as one of the Pokemon Trainer's three partners in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

003 Venusaur

It somehow reminds me of Jurassic Park. The dinosaur-like appearance, its lumbering walk, its low bellow. The flower on its back also looks prehistoric. It’s still my favorite grass starter.

004 Charmander

This is the beginning form of my favorite pokemon. Nine out of ten times this is the pokemon I will pick as my starter when I played the original games.

005 CHARMELEON
Some people think March of the Exeggutor Squad was a lame episode because of the freaky magician, but they forget Ash's Charmander evolved there. Charmeleon didn't obey Ash anymore and started a new chapter in Pokemon anime, in a way.

006 CHARIZARD
Charizard was one of the first "favorite" Pokemon around, due to its sleek, dragonlike design and impressive abilities. While only skilled trainers can control a Charizard, those who can effectively manage one are a force to be feared. It's a little-known fact that in the manga Electric Pikachu Boogaloo, Ash and Richie went Charizard vs. Charizard in the Indigo Junior Tournament Finals. Ash's inexperience kept him from effectively controlling his beast, which rampaged out of control. In order to keep his friend's Charizard out of mortal danger, he recalled his own, thus forfeiting the title match.

Pokedex Mode activated.

"Squirtle. The Tiny Turtle Pokemon. This small Pokemon exhales bubbles from its mouth that explode with stinging force upon contact as a means of attack. Its sturdy shell can contain all of its extremities, including its curled tail. The tail is used to grab onto underwater plants while swimming against powerful currents."

008 WARTORTLE
I used Wartortle in a short episode in one of my comics. It was a Pokemon version of the Finnish National Epic, Kalevala. There Pohjolan Isäntä (The Master of Pohjola) summons a Wartortle and asks it use Water Gun so that Lemminkäinen can drink it. This offends Lemminkäinen and he releases Miltank to drink the water.

009 BLASTOISE

While other people were running around screaming about Charizard, I was quietly kicking every ones ass with Blastoise. With 2 mounted cannons on its back how much cooler can you get. The only Blastoise I can remember seeing in the series got its ass kicked by Ash's Lapras in a race.

010 Caterpie

The very first pokemon that Ash catches on the show. It was surprisingly strong to be able to defeat an ekans and a koffing at the same time.

011 METAPOD
This Pokemon is arguably weaker than a Magikarp, as it is completely immobile and, in the anime, generally unable to attack. In the manga The Electric Tale of Pikachu, the name of Ash's Caterpie (Felix) is only revealed upon its evolution to Metapod.

012 BUTTERFREE
The best Bug Pokemon ever. Believe me. After 3 levels as Metapod, this Pokemon evolves into its fabulous final form. Butterfree is able to use neat moves like Psybeam and Bug Buzz. The only flaw is that it cannot learn Fly, which I wonder because it looks stronger than some other Flying Pokemon. To me.

013 WEEDLE

Weedle was one of the most annoying and useless pokemon in the game, though I never really encountered it as being a person who played Blue and Leaf Green but I always used to hate the guy in Viridian city who shows you how to catch a pokemon and it was always a Weedle.

014 Kakuna

It can poison sting, string shot, and harden. It's basically male genitalia with stds. Sooner or later it evolves into beedrill and will kill YOU.

The bug pokemon that everyone is afraid of because of how dangerous they are.

016 PIDGEY
Pidgey is one of those Pokemon I was referring to when I said it's odd that Butterfree can't learn fly. Come on, Pidgey isn't that big. On the other hand, many Pokemon seem to have enough power to lift big objects despite the size so perhaps this one can carry humans.

017 Pidgeotto

Was the second pokemon Ash caught, Pidgeotto is a pretty cool pokemon since it looks cool, flies fast and has nice attacks.

"Pidgeot. The Bird Pokemon. This bird of prey is the lord of the Kanto sky, capable of flying at altitudes of over 5,000 miles and at speeds exceeding Mach 2. Its sharp eyes can detect the motions of its prey from distances of almost 10 kilometers."

Rattata... the unpronouncable Pokemon... number #19. It eats cheese and lives EVERYWHERE in Pokemon yellow, and will rape you quickly.

I played Pokemon Blue first time for a long time and found beating it difficult. How bad have I become at videogames?

My most hated off all pokemon because it used to kill you in a few seconds flat if you couldn't run away from it. Also when you wanted to find one for a trade you never could.

Fearow, it knows Drill Peck and is on steroids. It goes KWAAAAH and will demolish your bulbasaurs.

is snake backwards, and it also was a Pokemon I never really cared for in the games, other than the standard evolve to box Pokedex filler n_n

A giant purple snake that can spit acid and dig underground. It can also paralyze you just by looking at you.

025 PIKACHU

Pikachu is probably the most well known of all the pokemon in the series because he is Ash's first and favourite pokemon, Pikachu refuses to stay in its pokebal and has a lot of energy. But most of all it was the supporting cast in the game pokemon Yellow which SUCKED.

026 RAICHU
One of the biggest questionmarks in Pokemon anime: why doesn't Pikachu evolve? Ash's Pikachu refused to evolve in an early episode Electric Shock Showdown and still stands by its decision. If I'm not mistaken, they don't even talk about evolving Pikachu anymore. Lt. Surge's Raichu, on the other hand, was slow because it was made to evolve too soon.

the other mouse Pokemon. It digs holes and is scaly. It might crawl up your anal crevices and seek your hemmerhoid

028 SANDSLASH

It curls up and then rolls into it's foes with it's back. It's sharp spines inflict severe damage.

029 NIDORAN F

If you ever played the original games, you never caught one of these. You went straight through Viridian City because it was a one-horse town, never noticing that path to the side so you could catch something that wasn't a Rattata, Pidgey, Caterpie or Weedle. Also, it is in its own Breeding Group so, although technically impossible, they can interbreed. Therefore, it can be deduced that this Pokemon experiences high rates of lesbian lust. Its evolved form confirms its desire to rug-munch.

030 NIDORINA
I have never thought about the aspect Heald mentioned, and on the whole, Nidorina has been a very trivial Pokemon to me. I don't have anything special to say about it. In the games it's found wild in for instance Safari Zone, in case you haven't evolved your Nidoran F for some reason. Hopefully someboy can give more interesting information on Nidoran F's final evolution that is...

032 Nidoran (M)

This Nidoran has a pee pee. It learns double kick which rapes Brock's onix in the butt. It has poisony barbs which it uses to insert venom into venonats without success. oh wait, we don't know what venonants are yet.

033 Nidorano

This pokemon has a big horn on it's head and can evolve by coming into contact with a moonstone.

034 NIDOKING
This Pokemon originally taught me back in 2000 (yes I'm slow) that attacks like Thunderbolt can be taught to Pokemon that aren't the type in question, too. I still remember I drew one Nidoking while listening to a Finnish Heavy Metal band Finntroll and it looked evil.

I have a feeling someone secretly wanted me to do the gayest Pokemon on earth for this poll... let's just face it, if you're a clefairy you... are probably lesbian, since you evolve into quite possibly the gayest thing on earth...

Is the evolved form of clefairy. They are best known (anime wise anyway) for using metronome.

I used to know a kid who had one of those stuffed ones from Burger King. Weird kid. He's in the Army Reserves now.

038 NINETALES
For some reason, this Pokemon reminds me of Naruto now. In Naruto manga and anime, a nine-tailed fox has its spirit sealed inside a boy that is the main character. Anyway, I do remember one of the appearances in Pokemon anime itself. Ninetales appeared in the eppie "Electric Soldier Porygon", Nurse Joy was talking about transmitting Pokemon and she used Ninetales as an exapmle of a rare Pokemon.

"Jigglypuff. The Balloon Pokemon. Though it looks cute, Jigglypuff can fill its body with air and blow itself up to several times its normal size in order to intimidate its enemies. Believed to be distant relatives of Clefairy, they evolve upon exposure to a Moon Stone and use many similar attacks. Jigglypuff is well-known for its ability to lull any enemy to sleep with its soothing, singsong voice."

I remember learning back in Red that Jigglypuff evolved when exposed to the Moon Stone, just like Clefairy. So in my quest to catch 'em all, I evolved mine and found Wigglytuff's sprite back then to be really freaky looking. It's annoying when a cute pokemon evolves into something that looks so weird, but that's not as annoying as...
