Good god, I can't even imagine this running around on Wi-Fi, and this is only in Japan. This makes me kinda glad I'm not doing competitive.

Yeah, this thing is gonna be a beast.
And I'm gonna call that it'll usually be run with either Fist Plate, Flame Plate, or Earth Plate in order to be able to dispatch Steel-Types with Judgement while the other three attacks go towards blowing everything else to kingdom come.
At the very least, there's the Promo Pichu which is much more harmless, relatively speaking.

So the Pichu is Pikachu-coloured; is it the first Pokemon to have two shiny forms? The Arceus is pretty uuber IMHO. makes sense I guess.

Most possibly the same. Since it's Pikachu coloured, it won't change its colour when it evolves.

Actually, I think the Pikachu-colored Pichu that's being given out is just an ordinary shiny.

It's a special Pichu, but with a special set iirc and if it's shiny then logic says it'll just evolve into a Shiny Pikachu lol
