ROUND ONE!
We waste no time in this battle of an FF-obsessed Role-player, and an RPG-obsessed Fanficcer. Cat releases her first pokemon of this double's dance: a plump happiny named Hana. Meanwhile, on the other side of the field-dressed room, is Crystal, releasing her cyndaquil, Red XIII. Commands are given, and both pokemon ready themselves for battle!

Thirteen initiates by closing his eyes and wiggling his nose and whiskers. In a flat instant, the field is covered in several Red clones (-6% Red XIII / +30% Eva Red XIII), but they are all immediately wiped out by several electric daggers thrown by the happiny (-4% Red XIII / -5% Hana / -30% Eva Red XIII).

Annoyed (and always brooding) that his means of defense was wiped away so cleanly, Thirteen opens wide and produces a chain of flames that promises to burn away all his problems (-5% Red XIII)! But Thirteen's problems don't go away. Hana fires off a quick water ball that cuts through the flamethrower (-7% Hana). The water and the fire cancel eachother out, dealing no damage to either pokemon.

Still at the same distance he was before, Thirteen tries another flamethrower. The fires dance in line before actually crashing into the happiny without concern for her well-being (-9% Hana / -5% Red XIII). Hana's eyes widen for a few seconds before her face goes back to the happy face it always was -- she fires off a wobbly ball of death and darkness that collides into the cyndaquil (-8% Red XIII / -6% Hana).

ROUND TWO!
Hana wastes no time in beginning the second act. Her eyes open as wide as they can before the arena becomes enveloped in a flash (-3% Hana), but the somewhat-angry Thirteen has prepared for this, and his eyes are closed!, protecting him from the blindingly white flash of light. With his eyes closed, he furiously digs at the soft soil until his paws hit the pavement a few inches below (-3% Red XIII). It ain't much, but he ducks into the hole he made for himself and prowls around.

Hana waits patiently for her firery foe to emerge from the hole he had dug for himself. But he doesn't emerge from that hole, no-no. From behind her, Thirteen pops out of the ground and hits her hard (-8% Hana / -2% Red XIII), knocking her down forcefully. Her disorientation causes her to slowly pull herself back together before taking the cyndaquil and pressing her lips against his beak (-2% Hana / Con Red XIII). Thirteen's anger fades away to a strange confusion.

Thirteen immediately charges at his foe with ferocity, tackling her harshly (-12% Hana / -6% Red XIII). But he's moving too fast, and crashes into the wall (-3% Red XIII). Hana keeps calm, however, and is engulfed in a hot pink aura. Her eyes close and she bounces forward, bashing the cyndaquil harshly (-8% Red XIII / -6% Hana).

Thirteen vanishes from the field quickly, charging at his happy-go-lucky foe. Happiny attempts to lock onto his location to trip him up, but her grass knot is overshot (-4% Hana), and Thirteen easily crashes lightly into her torso (-4% Hana / -2% Red XIII).

Hana's first attack was unsuccessful, but she manages to conjure up a pulse of water that connects with the firery mouse, who, at this point, was thinking about faeries and whatnot (-9% Red XIII / -5% Hana). He snaps out of his confusion, however, and fires off another flamethrower that wraps around the happiny, crisping her round body without hesitation (-9% Hana / -6% Red XIII).

Still happy somehow, Hana charges her foe and bashes him with her soft fist a few times (-6% Red XIII / -3% Hana), whilst Thirteen, does the same, using his brooding anger to power up his fists (-6% Hana / -3% Red XIII).

The happiny, Hana, claps her hands together gleefully as she wobbles to and fro. The powers that be created a rain cloud in the room that burst open, sending water droplets to the ground (-7% Hana / Rain Dance activated). Slightly perturbed by the sudden downpour, Thirteen charges his foe once more, crashing into her (-12 Hana / -6% Red XIII) before he himself skids into a wall (-3% Red XIII).

Hana pouts before roping her foe with a silvery string of energy. Where she got it is a mystery as it slowly saps away Thirteen's health (-19% Red XIII / -12% Hana). Thirteen unhappily replies with another bash to the pink blob's body (-18% Hana / -10% Red XIII), utilizing his weakened state as a strength mechanism.

Hana ends the round by tossing a throbbing black ball that quickly hobbles over to the cyndaquil (-6% Hana). But Thirteen thinks fast and, utilizing wind energy, leaps out of the way moments before being struck (-5% Red XIII), but his dodging attack falls too short to cause any harm to the happiny.

Hana, start this round with Flash. Then try out Sweet Kiss. Finally, use Zen Headbutt!

If you get hit by Sweet Kiss before you can dig, use Frustration and then Submission, neither move takes much thought.

Let's even the odds. First, use Rain Dance to weaken his fire-type attacks. Then use Endeavor to close the gap between you two. Finally, use Shadow Ball again. If you get burned during this round, sub with Refresh.

Anyways, Red, use Submission again, we can still fight that thing with fire weakened. I'm confident in you. Reversal *after* the Endeavor and finally use Aerial Ace. If you can, use it to dodge shadow ball and strike.

To be honest, I had a momentary brainfart and somehow translated "less HP = more damage" to "if the attacker has less HP than the defender, then more damage is dealt". Somehow I also completely forgot about Reversal being a fighting-type attack as well, even though I color-coded it... I blame the ten-hour shift. I'll get that fixed in a jiff, CT.

Omega, blast her with an Ice Beam as she's safeguard, then use Rock Tomb to trap her so her own attack says with her in the darkness. If she's trapped in there still by the end, blast a blizzard in there with her, if shes escapes, ice punch if shes close, or ice beam otherwise.
