Alright I am going to go for a long battle here, I think they are quite fun. And when you think about some of the battles that have gone on here, a 4v 4 isnt THAT bad.

It's been days since our combatants have announced their battle, but no referee has shown up, until now. Hello folks, this is Kurosakura here, a rookie referee hoping to gain some experience! It seems that our combatants are also rather new, or starting fresh, at least. Today's battle is in this... huge empty laboratory with only one window... in the ceiling... *shudders* It's afternoon at the moment, and the sunlight's still filtering in for now, luckily, we have fluorescent lightbulbs installed in the ceiling so we can still see what's going on!

Fredrick starts off this battle with a fierce Swords Dance, spinning around aggressively over... and over... and over again. SOMEONE MAKE HIM STOP! Violet, on the other hand, is locking onto her target with a Mind Reader, studying him closely and contemplating her next move.

Fredrick: - 5EN, +1 Atk.
Violet: -5 EN, Locked On

And this Absol... WON'T STOP SPINNING!? Violet launches a well-aimed Leaf Storm at Fredrick, showering him with a storm of razor-sharp leaves, however, her aim isn't enough to penetrate the windy vortex created by the Absol. A few select leaves fall through as the Swords Dance winds down and injure Fredrick, causing him to cry out in pain. However, that attack took a lot out of Violet, and it looks like the rest of her attacks may be less effective.

Fredrick: -5 HP, -5 EN, +1 Atk.
Violet: -10 EN, -2 Sp. Atk.

It looks like getting cut made Fredrick preeeeeetty angry, so he's charging at Violet and jumping into the air, his head-blade thingy glowing and coming down on Violet at she tries desperately to Captivate Fredrick with her cuteness, which works, but doesn't soften the physical power of Aerial Ace. And it looks like... Fredrick scored a pretty painful hit. Better luck next time!

SO! The battle commences. Both Pokemon look a little worn out, but are still going strong, neither one giving an inch!

Violet starts off this round with an Attract move, sidling up next to Fredrick, working her charms on the lucky guy. Unfortunately, he put up a protective barrier before she could work her moves, and thus she failed. Don't worry Violet, I'm sure there's a nice Budew out there for you!

Oh dear. I guess I spoke too soon. Fredrick is working HIS charms on Violet now, and they seem to be.. flirting? Can Budew and Absol even breed!? Either way, Violet is unable to concentrate on the battle, she's too infatuated with this guy!

This battle is turning out to go in Adrenaline's favor, Metallixs Girl, you're going to have to try and get out of this sticky situation! Uh-oh! Fredrick hurled a blob of Toxic gunk at Violet! Fredrick starts this battle off by... wait, what? *takes a closer look* He's sleeping in the middle of a battle! Come on buddy, ya gotta wake up! Oh, never mind, hold on, Violet, hearing the concern in Metallixs Girl's voice is overjoyed that her Trainer supports her love for Fredrick! She planted a Worry Seed into Fredrick, who just woke up looking quite frazzled, apparently he couldn't go to sleep cause he was worried about something.

Violet: -5 EN, +1 Atk.

It seems like Fredrick is freaking out! It looks like his fears have been confirmed, seeing Violet the first thing when he wakes up, practically made him jump five feet into the air in fright! Not knowing what to do, since he obviously can't Sleep Talk when he's not sleeping, he's just standing there freaking out, looking back and forth as he tries not to hear wedding bells ring in his head. GAH! OKAY! I'M SORRY! I'LL TAKE THAT BACK! Phew.. Absol are scary... Wait, did I just say that out loud? Anyway, Violet is spinning around with a Swords Dance! Is she dancing for Fredrick's love?

Violet starts off the battle with a series of overly affectionate.. Tackle attacks? Anyway, she just used Return on an annoyed-looking Fredrick, who shot a kanji-shaped Fire Blast at her at point-blank range and leaving her with a nasty burn. Ouch. However, it didn't do as much as he hoped, because he still finds her rather cute. For those who don't know, Fire Blast is in the shape of the Chinese word for big!

Fredrick: -9 HP, -8 EN
Violet: -10 HP, -4 EN, -1 Atk.

Violet's not too happy with that burn, but she dances around anyway, hoping Fredrick would like her dance, bringing about a Sunny Day! It is just me, or is it hot in here? Fredrick fires a powered-up Fire blast at her, striking her once again.

Violet: -10 HP, -7 EN, Sunny Day 5

Violet launches an extremely half-hearted Solarbeam at Fredrick, although she tried her best to restrain herself, he took the hit and fell back several feet, leaving slight dents in the floor where he hooked his claws. He fires yet another Fire Blast at Violet, scoring yet another hit.

Fredrick goes in with a speedy, souped-up Aerial Ace, but what's this? Violet is glowing! Looks like she's storing energy to use for later. Maybe Fredrick should look worried now, he's super tired!

Fredrick is completely worn out, he has no more energy to fight! Violet looks REALLY mad now and hurls a... bolus of all sorts of plant matter at him, exploding on impact. However, this didn't do as much damage as she would've liked.

Well folks... I know you're all tired of waiting, but it seems that Adrenaline and Fredrick are unresponsive. It's a shame, and I'm not going to like this, but I'm giving Adrenaline until 12 AM EST until he DQs, which is a little more than 8 hours from now.

Metallixs Girl, are you willing to give Adrenaline an extension or are you going to take the DQ when the time comes? Since both of your Pokemon are below 55% HP, you can earn points from this battle. However, you cannot earn the full amount of points a 4 on 4 normally would. If you take the DQ, you'll earn the points a 1 on 1 would, which would mean both you and I will obtain 2 points and Adrenaline will obtain 1 point instead of you and I obtaining 8 points and Adrenaline obtaining 4 points if the battle were to continue and be completed.
