I just picked up my copy of "The Lost Symbol" which came out today. Sure, Dan Brown might not be one of the best critically acclaimed authors, but I've read the first several chapters and I'm enjoying it so far.

Anybody else planning to get/read it? Oh well, time to leave this thread now until I finish.

I enjoyed the first 2/3 of The Davinci Code... but after that I struggled... The movie I turned off afer 15 minutes. It was atrocious. I have no intentions of reading the rest of Dan Brown's work.

The book was sensational. The movie stunk.

As for The Lost Symbol it came in the mail today, but it's supposed to be my mom's birthday present (she's a big fan of Dan Brown). However, I'm sure she'll let me read it when she's done.
