    Default Warcraft Rising - Sign-Ups

I've not run an internet RPG in some time, so please, bear with me if I'm a little rusty.

    ---

The night before wasn't anything special. You'd done your dailies, run some dungeons, maybe been online up until the server reset raiding. You'd gone to bed, knowing that the next day was just... another day.

    You were wrong.

The next morning, you immediately knew something was wrong. You might've had tusks, or a beard comprised of tentacles, or even become a Gnome. Whatever the changes were, it didn't take long to realize that you had become your primary World of Warcraft character - with your equipment all in a pile in the corner of your room.

Flipping on the television, you discovered that you were not alone. All across the world, people were awakening to this new reality. There were numerous reports of World of Warcraft subscribers transfigured in such a way.

Amidst this confusion and panic, there are rumors of something far more sinister than what has happened to you and your fellow players - Graveyards emptied, bodies mysteriously vanishing from morgues, gone without a trace.

Are these events connected? Hard to say. But whatever's going on, it would seem that you, with your newly-granted powers, are ideally suited to get to the bottom of whatever is causing all this.

    ---

Your characters all live within an apartment complex in one of the large urban metropoli of California. Do you know each other? Perhaps. What's certain is the one thing that bonds the ten of you - Your shared destiny.

Default Re: Warcraft Rising - Sign-Ups

I suppose I'll get the ball rolling, now that I've got some free time.

    Name: Gabriel Donahue, aka "Anklebiter"
    Age: 24 before and after.
    Gender: Male before, female after
    Warcraft Race: Gnome
    Warcraft Class: Death Knight (Unholy)
Human Appearance: Around six feet tall, Gabe had more fat than muscle, weighing around 145 lbs. His hair was brown and usually kept trimmed at half an inch in length. His eyes were brown, and his favored articles of clothing were flip-flops, jeans, and a button-down collared shirt over a band t-shirt. Despite his indoor lifestyle, he somehow managed to retain a decent tan.
Warcraft Appearance: Barely four feet tall, Gabe's new form has pale, bone-white skin, with jet-black hair pulled back into a pair of ponytails, with her two bangs coming down past her nose. Her eyes are a piercing, glowing sky-blue, and her state of undeath is only apparent if one examines her closely. Her armor is mostly simple black plate, with glowing blue runes etched across it - The pauldrons look like a pair of open-mouthed skulls, and she prefers to not wear a helm, as she claims it "obscures her great hair."
Personality: While withdrawn before, preferring to deal with people through anonymous mediums like the internet, Gabe has come out of his shell since the change, becoming much more outgoing and sociable - even capable of laughing at his own expense now and then. He doesn't seem to mind the change, either in height or in gender, seemingly too preoccupied with how much fun there is to be had with his new abilities.
    Relationships: Open to whoever.
History: To be filled in later, if/when I conjure something.
Weapon(s): Gabe wields a giant mace, carved from a dragon's bone, and inlaid with several large gems at the head of the weapon, which change in color depending on what sort of attack he is about to execute.
Other: He considers himself a bit of a lore nerd, and coming from a roleplaying realm, sees these strange events as a chance to live out the life he's always wanted to.
    To each their own.
