I choose Sterling the male Skarmory with the ability Sturdy. X-Scizor, Rock Smash and Flash Cannon to get things started.

===Round 1===

Ahh we have a new wave coming in. Might just be Sterling flying in, or it could be that I-DL the great, am reffing this match not only to watch two battlers get down and dirty, but to witness the coming of a new age.

KOT already released his Pokemon for this battle, an Absol with a steely look in his eye. So much so that Sterling feels inclined to try even harder to take this bastard down! He flies forth and slams into the wolfish creature, slicing him back with those sharp steely wings of his.

Sabre hisses and retaliates by reaching up and clawing her neck. His claws hooked onto her plating and he slammed the bird down into the ground, beak first.

Sterling pulled her beak out of the ground, and tried to slice at Sabre again with an extended wing. Sabre once again let the wing hit him-which felt like a Rock being Smashed on his head. He rotated his head so his wing was caught in between his skull and that scythe like protrusion. Jumping forward, he twisted Sterling's wing backwards...that hurt a lil.

Feeling good, Sabre twists his head back and releases the wing. Sterling flutters backwards, now a little perturbed by this pup. He Focuses for a moment and then fires off a shrill cry that is joined by a ton of steely grey orbs coalescing together and firing in a mass of bright light. The Flash Cannon rockets towards Sabre-who decides to combat it with a Flamethrower.

The Flames slam into the Cannon, and are broken up by it! Sabre freaks before he's slammed by the massive attack. Sterling flaps backwards to avoid the explosions fallout.

Ouch, so Flamethrower got overpowered by Flash Cannon?

Sabre, that Flash Cannon can definitely overpower your fire moves, so we have to find a way around it if it comes up again.

Start with a Double Team to surround Sterling, then find a way to get behind him and blast his tail feathers with a couple of well-aimed Thunderbolts.

Subs:

If he uses Double Team to try and avoid your Thunderbolts, go for a Shock Wave.

If you're cloneless and he tries to use Flash Cannon again, use Detect to evade.

Give his clones a nice Swords Dance to watch. Then Agility and Torment. Yeah I know, not a very offensive round...

===Round 2===

Sabre is a bit stunned. That last attack was quite formidable. He'd have to take this steel bird down another way if he was going to secure a victory. So, with a howl to the heavens, he called upon an internal clan - and forced them to jump into the fray. Sterling found herself surrounded by 4 Absols in a flash.

She holds her ground, and dances from side to side, trying to stay equidistant from each one. A bit more tiring than usual but she feels the benefits of tht dance almost immediately.

Sabre and co. now all charge up a nice big ball of electric pain for Sterling to suck on. But Sterling dashes backwards almost immediately, and takes to the skies. She pushes herself hard, and Sabre is taken back by the speed which she exhibited, because it outpaced his Thunderbolt! He sneered and stared at the speedy steely bird, watching as she bobbed and weaved for survival.

At her speed, Sterling was risky to cry out the way she did., Sabre thought she was going to fall apart and winced for a moment. But as the cry died down, Sabre saw she was still ripping through the skies at a good clip. A second Thunderbolt was...thought about...but Sabre found himself unable to fire! Oh this bird was real crafty...reallly crafty indeed.

Sabre and the clones all watch as Sterling flies high above them all. The metallic bird is riding a crest of confidence, and it starts to show as he careens down toward the Absol pack. Undaunted by teh clones Sterling tilts her flight path toward the right. Sabre knows he's been spotted and waits for Sterling to come within the point of no return. The second Sterling was close enough, Sabre released an intense Flash that caused Sterling to crash right into him instead of a graceful swooping strike. Both Pokemon went for a stumble and Sabre howled in pain, that bird's speed and body sure packed a wallop.

Sabre moved away and to the right, as Sterling covered her eyes with one wing. The other wing flexed out and seemed like a sharp sword. She slashed the vicinity around her, leaving crisscrossing grooves in the dirt. Sabre wasmindful of the added power behind those strikes and made sure to stay out of the blinded birds range. A perfect opportunity to rain a Thunder down on the metallic fiend.

Sterling cawed in anguish and hastened her hops to try and find Sabre. She stopped covering her face with her wing and tried to see clearly. There were shapes everywhere, but something moved out to her right. She headed that direction, and would have hit Sabre-had the intense Fire Blast not come out of his mouth. She screeched and fell on her side, burning up.

I can answer the "What was that?" part, lol.

It was what will come to Sterling if he underestimates Sabre.

Sabre, your opponent is in range for you to KO him this round, so let's do it!

Use another Flash to hopefully keep him blinded, then use another Fire Blast to hit him where his weak spot supposedly is, finally, go for a Thunder.

Subs:

If he uses Double Team or any move to dash out of the way of your attacks (e.g. Agility), let him have it with a Shock Wave. Show him that evasion won't work so easily without costing him plenty of energy!

Sterling, they may be cocky but you aren't done yet! Close your eyes and relax, then light up HIS world with a Flash of your own, then nail him with Sand Attack. That'll show him not to mess with your accuaracy.

===Round 4===

Seeing that this match might be over for the metalbird soon enough, Sabre decides to secure a definite victory. The wolfish beast howls and releases a Flash that lightens up the arena once more, even forcing me to put on my Blublockers. However as this brilliant light illuminates all, Sterling sits quietly. His head was low and focused-steel eyelids shut-helping reduce the Flash's intensity.

Sabre went to try and strike down the offending bird, by burning down the house! A massive ball of Fire was collected within and was almost a success, had Sterling's wings not opened, and he released an intense Flash of his own! Sabre freaked by the blinding light and fired the Fire Blast skyward, shooting past Sterling.

Whimpering right now, Sabre rubbed his paw against his face to try and remove the spots and piercing pain of his hampered sight. It did not help when he looked through bleary eyes and saw just shapes and colors. Then it went black once more, as the grit of the ground suddenly flew in his face from all directions. Sterling had taken off again, his sight much better than before. There was no way he could see now, much less attack.

===Round 5===

Steling flew around confidently, knowing she could take this foolish hound out with a few well placed attacks. Diving low, her wings secondary feathers stuck out like a line of blades. Sabre didn't see it coming, as his body was slashed up by the scissor like wings. He hunched down onto the ground snarling, firing a blast of electricity upward. Sterling immediately went to evade, but found that attempt to be useless.

Sabre's ears perked up on where he fell..

Sterling stayed down, trying to breathe. That helped Sabre, as he was able to fire off a second Shock Wave at the downed bird. Sterling rolled over in pain, his body trying to seize in pain. She stayed put, harnessing her energy as best she could.

Sabre began to be able to see contours, and a Skarmory's head is a distinctive shape. He slowly plodded over, knowing there was some truth to his sight. Sterling however, was still dangerous, and flickered out both wings in front of her. Sabre walked right into a full powered X-scissor. He was flung back and that electrical energy was released. Sterling just watched as the Shock Wave struck him, keeping him grounded.

The weary battlers seem to know this battle can end at any time. Sterling starts to fly, and uses that speed to careen into Sabre. Sabre sneers and fires off a Thunderbolt in Sterling's general direction. But the Thunderbolt misses! Sterling caws in approval, and Sabre realizes this match just got alot more dangerous.

Sabre squinted, there was still grit in his eyes. But he didn't care, that bird was going to fall right now! A solid yellow glow appeared from his horn, and he went to fire it off. Sterling looped backwards and swooped to strike him again. Sabre went up from the dual winged assault and the Shock Wave went out. Sterling was toppled out of flight, but as he fell, Sabre was already down.

Ouch, this not only is the closest battle I've ever lost, but...I guess speed was the factor too.

Sabre, we obviously have some more work for your ability to lead you to a victory, but still, you did well despite being edged.

You finally beat me Metallix's Girl...I have to say, it takes plenty of skill to defeat me in battle, and you proved you have that skill. But, this is just the beginning of my ability usage.
