Arena: Super Monkey Ball Track.

Yes. You heard me. We're on a Super Monkey Ball track, and those crazy simians are rolling around all willy nilly. This part of the track is fairly wide, but if one so chooses to explore, the track does get wonky (Look up any Super Monkey Ball track to understand what I mean).

If any monkey rolls over you, you lose 5 HP.

Banning: All moves except physical ones. Yes, we're having a nice ol' brawl here.
DQ: Depending on my health, I'll try to stick to one week.
Abilities: Off.

And I'll even go first . Gooooo....Oh! I know.

Hmm... Physical moves only... That's the kinda matchup I usually don't like playing with, but whatever. How many pokemon each?

In any case, I'll start off with Aerodactyl.

Well, being as you didn't specify a certain Super Monkey Ball track, DarkestLight, hope you and chaos are okay if I come up with a simple one, a grassland/jungle track. Note, being as the monkeys are constantly rolling and presumably unable to stop, being on the ground in one spot too long obviously won't be too good of an idea, as they will come around the track every three rounds, and in those rounds, there is a 30% chance of a monkey hitting a Pokemon each round.

BTW, chaos, just so you know, if I see someone who uses a Pokemon with no nickname in a battle I'm reffing for, I sometimes look it up in the VS. Seeker topic, just incase it does have a nickname.

The battle begins on a track in the world of Super Monkey Ball. With a group of monkeys rolling around the circular track, the two trainers about to battle here could possibly go bananas if things get too out of hand here. Anyway, the first trainer comes in, revealing himself as chaos_redefined. As he stands out of the range of the rolling monkeys, he takes out a Pokeball, and opens it up to reveal a male Aerodactyl by the name of Tearo. Soon, the other trainer appears. Revealing himself as DarkestLight, co-moderator of ASB, he gets to a safe spot from the monkeys as well, and answers to chaos_redefined's challenge as he takes out a Pokeball of his own, and he opens it up to reveal a male Tropius he named Sonar. With that, the battle begins with Tearo, who opens his mouth to reveal razor-sharp fangs that are quickly ignited with the power of fire. Sonar, though, isn't about to let Tearo give him the full brunt of his Fire Fang, as he allows his wings to harden with a steely glint, and the two Pokemon make their strikes...both of them cry in pain from the respective hits they get, with Tearo roaring in agony as the Steel Wing hits him square in the mouth just a mere moment after clamping his red-hot fangs onto Sonar. Talk about real jaw pain...for both of them, that is.

Tearo: -11 Health, -6 Energy, has a few broken fangs as a result of the Steel Wing to his mouth area
Sonar: -8 Health, -7 Energy

Getting furious as suffering a few broken fangs as a result of that very painful attack to his mouth moments ago, Tearo angrily flaps his wings, sending forth a barrage of small, yet sharp rocks that head Sonar's way. Sonar though, isn't about to let them all strike him, as he fights back with a Leaf Blade that helps to knock away some of the rocks heading his way, but some of them still make their mark on him just as he slashes Tearo with the Leaf Blade.

Tearo: -8 Health, -9 Energy
Sonar: -7 Health, -7 Energy

Soon after, both Pokemon begin to concentrate individual energy into their wings, with Tearo going for a Wing Attack while Sonar fights back with another Steel Wing...they end up hitting each other with their respective wings, but the clash of wings appears to go in Sonar's favour, as the clash of rock and steel ends up being won, in steely fashion. Both Pokemon know this aerial battle isn't over until it's over!

-being as Sonar's first Steel Wing hit Tearo in the mouth area, and broke some of his fangs, that's going to result in attacks like Bite, and any of the elemental fangs doing less damage as a result, just so you know, chaos. But, although the effect is still kinda nasty, I'm certain it won't be in effect in your Aerodactyl's next battle. Trust me, being hit hard in the mouth certainly hurts a lot.

The round begins as Sonar goes for a Double Edge on Tearo. Flying quickly toward the rock dragon, the Tropius uses his might to smash Tearo around, but of course, the resulting recoil unfortunately does him a small bit of damage as a result. Tearo takes this opportunity to slam into Sonar with an Aerial Ace, knocking the Tropius into a loop which makes him lose a little altitude.

Tearo: -9 Health, -5 Energy
Sonar: -9 Health (2 from the Double Edge recoil, 7 from Aerial Ace), -10 Energy

Feeling a little winded from that last assault, Sonar manages to regain the air that he lost, and his wings begin to glow brown, before he comes at Tearo, intending on letting him have it with his Rock Smash. But, the Aerodactyl is having none of that, and he flies upward quickly in a tricky flying pattern, as Sonar groans in disappointment at his opponent's rise in altitude.

Tearo: -4 Energy
Sonar: -6 Energy

Not about to let his opponent off easy, Sonar makes his wings glow again, this tme with that metallic silver glint from before, as he flies toward his draconian adversary. But, with Tearo seeing his opponent about to fly into him with his sharp, metal-enhanced wings, the Aerodactyl makes a straight dive for Sonar, and the two Pokemon make another aerial crash, which causes them both to take a fair bit of damage from their respective attacks.

DarkestLight, just curious, but is there any bumps on the track that could possibly cause one of the monkeys to get shot into the air, thus possibly hitting one of the Pokemon? For this round, I'm presuming that there are no bumps to launch the monkeys into the air, but since they come around every 3 rounds, as long as the Pokemon stay in the air, I'm guessing the monkeys cannot reach them if there aren't any bumps.

The round begins as Tearo begins flying toward Sonar. As he charges forward, readying another Aerial Ace, Sonar is on the attack too, countering with another Double Edge. The two battlers collide once again with their respective air attacks, once again, bringing on the pain to each other in their latest mid-air clash.

Tearo: -9 Health, -5 Energy
Sonar: -9 Health (2 from the Double Edge recoil, 7 from Aerial Ace), -10 Energy

Second verse, same as the first. Once again, both Pokemon make another aerial clash, Tearo's Aerial Ace and Sonar's Double Edge make their marks on their respective targets...both of them realize that these mid-air clashes are going to eventually knock them out of the air.

Tearo: -9 Health, -5 Energy
Sonar: -9 Health (2 from the Double Edge recoil, 7 from Aerial Ace), -10 Energy

Feeling a bit shaken from those last couple of mid-air collisions, Tearo goes for one last Aerial Ace on Sonar. However, Sonar decides on changing his tactics this time around, letting his wings glow and harden with that silver glint from before, the Tropius flies toward Tearo with his Steel Wing. Once more, the two battlers collide...even though the two battlers cry in pain from the respective attacks, Tearo feels the most pain from it, as he agonizes over his mouth area feeling more pain than before...almost throbbing pain, that is. However, both he and Sonar manage to breathe a couple sighs of relief to be in the air still, as they spot the rolling monkeys making a lap on the ground below.

But, retaliation is in the cards for Tearo, who goes for another Stone Edge on Sonar. This time, the barrage of sharp rocks hit the Tropius with their full power, causing him to cry in pain as they leave a few painful spots on his body.

Sonar knows this is it. As he prepares to use what he hopes is one last Steel Wing needed to bring down Tearo, he flies toward the Aerodactyl with his wings sporting that silvery glint once more, and he smacks Tearo once again, making the Aerodactyl cry out as he finds himself unable to stay in the air, and he soon falls to the ground, knowing he has been bested here. Oh well...

The battle is momentarily paused as chaos_redefined prepares to go over to the fallen Tearo. With no rolling monkeys headed in his path, he walks over to his defeated Aerodactyl and recalls him, before taking out another Pokeball. Opening it up, a male Ambipom by the name of Goku is revealed, and the battle resumes. Goku is quick to get to battling, as he opens his mouth to shoot off a Gunk Shot at Sonar. However, the Tropius is not about to let the Ambipom's toxic assault succeed, and he immediately flies up into the air just mere moments before the noxious glob could hit, flying out of Goku's range for the time being.

Goku: -11 Energy
Sonar: -4 Energy

Unhappy that his Gunk Shot failed to make its mark on Sonar, Goku changes his tactics, making the two hand-like appendages on his tails glow a fiery red. Sonar seems to be showing a gutsy side though, as he dives down towards Goku, ramming the Ambipom fairly hard. But, Goku retaliates, throwing both of his fiery "hands" right into Sonar, causing the Tropius to cry in pain as his skin feels the painful double dose of heat.

Goku: -8 Health, -7 Energy
Sonar: -9 Health, -4 Energy

Going right back onto the attack again, Goku coughs up another Gunk Shot at Sonar. The thick, sticky liquid makes contact with the Tropius, causing him to wince in pain and feel a bit nauseous, as a result of some of it beginning to seep into his body...uh oh, definitely not good. Knowing that he won't last too much longer in the battle, Sonar rams into Goku once more, this time with a Rock Smash that sends the Ambipom flying. Goku painfully gets back to his feet, while Sonar coughs and collapses, as the poison in his system knocks off the remainder of his health.
