Arena: Skating rink in Snowpoint City. All of us and our Pokemon will be on skates, so make sure your Pokemon can wear skates somewhere. (And no, sledding/tobogganing is not allowed.) This also means Flying Pokemon will be grounded. Every so often, they may slip and crash into an innocent bystander or a wall, which will result in a 1-10 HP reduction depending on the situation, which is up to the ref's discretion. Ahh Snowpoint City. I'm DL, and I'm kinda late for a battle , but I'm pretty sure that the competitors don't notice. Why? Cause they're in that vile unhealthy condition known as Love. Sure, I'm riding my Kys-o-Deth to this battle to proclaim my honorary disdain for such a disease, but I love reffing ad so I'll ref this battle objectively.

Well, its at the skating rink, and oh god its full of couples. Though its not hard to spot Elf with his green hair, holding onto Kuro as they skate around quietly. I assume that the others are here already..yeap. There goe Asi, putting her goggles away..and there goes Mystic, doing a triple axle wtf this ISN'T BLADES OF GLORY!

Anyway, I'm signaling to the scorekeeper down below that I'm here and that the battle can start. Everyone else leaves the rink, and the two teams take their skating marks. Elf and Kuro release a Togepi and a Dusclops. To counter, a Blue Houndour and a Scizor appear. Let's not waste any time here!

Baksersville barks loud and clear to Orihimie that she shoulda been used as a omelet for a retard since all she is a retarded yolk. Before Ori can even gather enough slush to build with, shes pissed as all hell. But suddenly, she's shoved by a fast moving Kusunagi, right toward her teammate!

Bugaboom speeds forth, ready to fire off that Toxic, but freaks out when he sees his glob of goo lands on Orihime instead of Kusunagi! Ori is heretofore poisoned, and none too happy.

Ori stands up, and foregoes the idea of Safeguarding anything. She wants Bakersville to drown in this rink. Bugaboom laughs at the little eggy and then turns around, letting off a pretty hefty Ominous Wind at Kusunagi. Kusunagi is not so fast this time and is struck by the powerful blast. That Scizor sure knows his stuff.

Bugaboo smiles and shivers a tad, as she looks over to Bakersville. The pup starts to ponder if fire is a good idea. Shaking his head, she looks over to the Froslass who's rearing up an Ice Beam if he even spouts off a fartflame. Bakersville dosen't seem to care, and fires off that small swath of flame. Suddenly, like hellions rising from the depths, Ice Beams careen into Bakersville, freezing him on the spot!!!

No. Fire. Moves. ALLOWED. Kusu just walks over and punches the ice pup.

She trips Bugaboo up as the beast tries to skate away and punches her shin pretty hard! Bug go dawonn..

Bakersville stands there like a frozen statue, and Kusu is fast enough to get another set of punches in. Sucks when you don't OBEY THE RULES OF THE LAND!!

Although it clearly is visible that Baskerville is blue, I'm pretty sure this puppy is still freezing. Being frozen is no fun, especially when you are the target of a deluge of attacks. Bugaboom speeds over to try and take the edge off by engaging Kusunagi in combat. Slashing at his waist, Bugaboom lands a successful painful strike on Ku.

However, Baskerville is hit by a watery deluge from Orihime, whom skated over and laughed in his face before doing so. Kusunagi regrouped and forced his body forward on the ice, His fists straight out, they collided with the pup, knocking Baskerville on his side and sent him skidding.

Basker is still a pupsickle, but he does have backup. Showing off her speed skating skills, Bugaboom skims around Baskerville and keeps one pincer pointed at the incoming pair. That doesn't stop the ornery little egg, who tried for a second Water Pulse. Bugaboom crashed through the water, and ..realized he can't channel water back at Orihime. Crap.

That left Kusunagi wide open to beat Baskerville down with another Brick Break. Things weren't looking good. Add insult to injury, I think Bugaboom is confused!

Pleased with how this seemed to be working, Kusu looked over to Bugaboom. Yeap, that bug was skating in circles, keeping an eye on her, but she was skating on her pincers! Fantastic.

Back to Bas--hey where'd she go? Orihime looked over to Kusu, only to see fangs bared and glistening. She ducked-that was too close for comfort, and Kusu turned to see a cute, smiling puppy that needed tender loving care. How could Kusunagi not resist? He scooped up the pup, even as Ori looked up and spat water at him. Basker growled in anger, but kept the charm pouring on.

Still plenty attracted to the pup, Kusunagi skips over, trying to get past Bugaboom. Orihimie yells to her comrade to come back here, but that's a no go. Kusunagi is way too in love right now. Bug shakes wildly, but eagerly spits a Toxic fluid all over the ghost, and Baskerville tries to do the same spell to Orihime.

The Eggy glows brightly on the ice and performs an axle turn, as the Attractive waves hit. They rebound back and strike Baskerville, whom looks utterly confused at all of this....

A welling of mental energy is forged to create a link between them, and suddenly Baskerville feels sick all over. Orihime takes a few deep breaths, and then watches as Kusunagi's pets are accompanied by words of, well that's weird...

....Baskerville is male, Kusunag--ooh. Its a Taunt.

Ori watched with glee as Baskervlle seemed unable to attack. He huffed at his suitable mate not helping him away from this phantom and barked in displeasure. Bugaboom finally snapped free from the confusion, and looked down at Kusunagi with disgust. Orihime however, now came to his rescue, glowing.

A massive spree of kicks and punches came upon Orihime from the sky. Bugabbom was back in action, and man was she peeved. The egg was smashed against the ground for most of the attack, so no luck escaping that. That left Kusunagi to go back to petting, since she saw she was hurting Baskerville.

Bugaboom then saw a gush of water shoot from the grave where Orihime was buried. Baskerville got a nice drenching, whether he wanted it or not.

The fifth round has these Pokemon skating all over the place in the name of love. Kusunagi skates over to Baskerville, willing to pour her heart to him. However, Baskerville is unable to Rest, since being Taunted has him on edge. Orihime dives toward Baskerville, but Bugaboom slides in the way, taking that Peck and smashing that egg back with its own Brick Break. Orihime goes flying, to Baskervilles dismay.

Snapping out of the haze for a moment, Kusunagi now realizes he can actually do more than pet this pup. He slams a ghostly fist into it and watches as Baskerville crumbles. Orihimi, unable to get past Bugaboom, decides to punch the bug instead. Bad idea. Ori's body slams into Bugabooms left knee, and Bugaboom bends it enough so Ori bounces up like a soccor ball. Bugaboom then spikes her into the ice. Yipe!

Kusunagi looks on wondering what to do now, since Baskerville is not attacking.
