okayyy so I really feel like reffing so i need two people to join this battle.

Arena: Indigo stadium with a pool, a lava pit, and jagged rocks everywhere.

Banned moves: Rest & Toxic.
This will be a 1v1 battle. Thanks NOW TAKE THE CHALLENGE!

I'll be using Convectank, my Torkoal.

I'll use Arethusa, my shiny female Feebas.

We'll start off with Surf, and then we'll drag that turtle down with Whirlpool. Dive down while he's drowning. If he attempts to use a Special Attack, use Mirror Coat.

Convectank Is male.I want you to get into that lava pool and use sunny day, using the lava to weaken as much of the surf as possible.
Follow up with a pair of SolarBeams, seeing as the psychic magic coats won't harm us too much.

ROUND 1


ATTACK 1
The round starts off with two trainers. One wairing a blue and black outfit. The other, nowhere in sight. The one we can see throws up a pokeball and out comes !GASP! the ugliest pokemon I've ever seen emerges. It falls into the pool with a splash. It is then identified as a female feebas by the name of Arethusa! Suddenly another pokeball appears from nowhere and a smoky turtle emerges and makes a break straight for the lava pool. Suddenly the ugly fish summons a massive wave that begins to head straight towards Convectank the turtle. The water collides with the lava and turns into steam still dealing minor damage. Then Convectank calls apon the gods of the sun to make it brighter.

Post Attack: Arethusa: -6 ep Convectank: -8hp -4ep

ATTACK 2
Angered that the sun is out Arethusa prepares a whirlpool. But suddenly a large beam of solar energy slams into her. Too bad she was prepared for that. The mirror coat reflects the beam towards Convectank at double the power, Which doesnt do very much, Convectank is fire type. The beam slightly damages Arethusa

Post Attack: Arethusa: -10ep -3 hp Convectank: -8hp -6ep

ATTACK 3
Arethusa, chuckling at her foolish opponent, grabs the torkoal (somehow) and dives underwater. Convectank is flustered but manages to fire off another solar beam which misses, richochets off a wall, and slams right into Arethusa. Talk about good luck. Convectank is free and swimes to the surface.

Erm, the damage from reflecting the Solar Beam back shouldn't have been reduced due to type advantage/disadvantage.

Mirror Coat: -PSY-The user shimmers and glows, and the power of incoming special attacks are bounced back toward their source. The user of Mirror Coat still suffers some damage and fatigue from the strain of reversing the power of incoming attacks, although typically less than it would have had it not performed Mirror Coat. The attack is of the Psychic element and the power of the hit is increased. It always has good accuracy and does not take any time to charge.

^ This is true. Damage taken by the magic coater is weakened, but the reflected damage is a psychic attack, even though many refs ref it as looking at a moves normal power, rather than the supereffective hit power.

Anyway, on to the battle ^_^

Start of by using solarbeam. If it is going to Protect/rain dance this round I want you to curse. If it will Double team, Spread out a cloud of Smokescreen to vaporise the clones.

Follow up by creating a huge fissure attack to take all the water from the pool
Finish up with an earthquake!
