I'll take you on, I only have one battle going right now and just got 4 new pokies that need some experience I take it from what you said we are NOT using abilities? (heh, as this might affect a pokemon choice later,lol)

Sage, start things off by filling the air with Stun Spore, then hit him twice with Energy Ball.

Lyg try to DIG to avoid the attack, and then come up and hit him where it hurts. Then use DOUBLE TEAM.

AND THE BATTLE BEGINS!
I find myself flung into a nice... underground city? Well, apart from Ground based moves being somewhat risky, and floating lightbulbs which hijack the national grid, not much going on here. And we start of with DryK releasing Lyg, a Trapinch. Up against him is Green Lanturn, and Sage his Oddish. Although I'm partial to rosemary, there are no objections to the battle and we begin round 1!

Sage quickly spreads a yellowish powder around. Lyg uses common sense, and burrows his way under the ground. He tunnels a fair distance, and manages to hit a soft spot of dirt, causing his tunnel to cave in. The earth slightly damages Lyg, and Sage remains waiting.

Sage -0 HP / -5 EN ||| Lyg -2 HP / -3 EN

Lyg now tunnels up, and as he leaps from the ground, smashing into an unexpecting Sage. As Sage gets flipped back, he releases a ball of green energy, which strikes Lyg with intense power. Lyg gets knocked onto its back, and starts crying loudly. Energy ball hurt a lot!

Sage -16 HP / -7 EN ||| Lyg -15 HP / -4 EN

The good news is that you can always learn from pain. Lyg flips over and splits into many... Lygaments? All of a sudden Sage finds himself surronded. Not in the best of moods, he fires of another Energy ball, which flies straight through a clone and blows up a conveniently placed lightbulb. Lyg simply sniggers.

-Lyg has 3 clones, and itself.
-Cave ins do 1 or 2 damage, increasing to 3 or 4 on super effective hits, and 5 or 6 on 4* effective hits.

-Dig takes 2 turns, so energy is halved and split between the 2.
-Damage Cap = 40
-On 0 EN, you are forced to idle for 2 turns, then regain 20 EN. If you reach 0 EN again, the energy regain goes to 10. On the third time, you are KO'ed.
-Should Toxic be used, damage starts on 2 then increases by 50% (Rounded up) each round. (2,3,5,8,12,18,27,41)

Round 2
As Dogfish suddenly starts appearing on milk cartons, a newer, more handsomely dressed referee takes the stage. Sage begins round two by hopping over to the slow antlion and shaking around passionately -- almost dancing, in a way -- causing a powdery poison substance to enter Lyg's nostrils. Lyg begins to feel nauseated by this ordeal [ Lyg Poisoned / -3PP Sage ]. In retalliation, Lyg merely chomps down hard on the oddish [ -8HP Sage / -6PP, -1HP Lyg ]. As the poisons slowly take control, the concentration he has on his clones wanes [ -75% Evasion Lyg ].

Sage retreats to his side of the cave to nurse his wound. As he does so, Lyg prepares for his second attack. Using terrakinesis, Lyg summons several rocks to surround Sage just as the plant pokemon fires off a large seed bomb. The two attacks hit at the same time: Lyg feels an explosion of nature energy whilst Sage is surrounded by rocks, imprisoned [ -12HP, -4PP, -1HP Lyg / -5HP, -5PP, -10% Speed Sage ].

With Sage trapped by the rocks, Lyg takes his time in preparing for his next attack. His jaw opens wide as a solid beam of earth energy escapes it -- it crashes through the rocky prison and slams into Sage [ -8HP Sage / -5PP, -1HP Lyg ]. Now freed from his tomb, Sage shoots out two leeching vines that wrap around Lyg. The vines constrict him, draining away his life energy briefly before returning to Sage [ -9HP Lyg / +5HP, -6PP Sage ].

Round 3
Sage takes the offensive by shooting off a collection of razor-sharp razor leaves that swiftly slash against the antlion, critically crippling him [ -10HP Lyg / -3PP Sage ]. Lyg pulls himself back together long enough to summon the same series of rocks from before to crush Sage [ -7HP Sage / -4PP, -1HP Lyg ].

The cave becomes darker and darker as Sage begins absorbing all the sunlight (as little as is there), giving Lyg an advantage of a stealthy slap. As the darkness envelops the arena, Lyg cloaks himself. A few seconds pass, and he reveals himself behind Sage, tackling him with dark energy [ -6HP Sage / -4PP, -1HP Lyg ]. Sage takes the attack in stride before releasing all the pent-up solar energy in a flash of light, hindering Lyg's eyesight [ -5PP Sage / -10% Accuracy Lyg ].

With his sight forfeit, Lyg is defenseless against Sage's followup: another large seed bomb [ -12HP Lyg / -5PP Sage ]. Lyg, exasperated, fires off a small collection of leeching orbs that affix themselves to Sage, draining away a tiny amount of health [ -3HP Sage / -5PP, +2HP, -1HP Lyg ].

Round 4
Before Lyg can even react, Sage fires off a concussive beam utilizing the rocky cave setting. The beam of rock energy collides with Lyg, dealing light damage [ -4HP Lyg / -5PP Sage ]. Lyg shakes off the attack before shooting off a beam of energy of his own. The earth-based attack, however, is far more dangerous to Sage [ -11HP Sage / -4PP, -1HP Lyg ].

Lyg continues the assault by stamping the ground with his forepaws, sending a shivering rupture throughout the cave. Sage attempts to leap into the air in avoidance, but the crumbling below messes with her footing [ -15HP Sage / -7PP, -1HP Lyg ]. When the quake finishes, Sage counteracts by firing off a large seed bomb that collides with Lyg [ -12HP Lyg / -5PP Sage ].

Finally, the third act: Lyg charges up a great deal of energy, and, upon seeing this, Sage makes his own preparations. Within a moment, Lyg has charged up the required amount, and fires out a beam of that energy that collides into Sage's protective barrier, effectively doing nothing at all [ -10PP, -1HP Lyg / -13PP Sage ].

Hmmm, a truly troubling combination of attacks. Alrighty Sage, lets get in there and knock off this trapinch! Start things off by combatting that Earth Power with a Secret Power. Then, try to jump up and avoid the Earthquake and pelt him with a Seed Bomb. Finally, just Protect yourself from that Hyper Beam...we'll take advantage of the rest period! bwahahaha!
