Hey guys, open challenge here. Would like a 2 on 2 doubles battle. (Only 2 pokemon)

This'll be my first doubles battle so im bound to make mistakes. Hope everyone is interested.

Match Type: 2 v 2 (Doubles)
Abilities: (Active!)
DQ Time: 3 Days (72 Hrs)
Arena: Generic Pokemon Gym, 50ft x 100ft rectangular arena, level floor made of poured concrete, painted in the traditional pokeball style. No particular advantages except that it is indoors, so weather affecting moves will have no use.
Special Rules: Weather Changing Moves (Hail, Rainy Day, Sunny Day, Defog, Etc. have no effect) Non-attack recovery moves such as Recover, Rest are banned. Toxic* and Earthquake are banned b/c it is against the rules to destroy the stadium! Attract is also banned because it is dumb.
Summary of special rules:
1. No Weather Moves
2. No Recovery moves (Stockpile is ok)
3. No Earthquake or Toxic
4. No Attract
*Only poison types may use Toxic otherwise it is not allowed.

Alright

Raven use Aerial Ace. Hiyru, Giga Drain.(Poliwag) Hiyru use Rock Slide, then Raven use Aerial Ace on Charmander. After that Hiyru, Giga Drain, Raven Aerial Ace.

If they try to put a status on you, then Raven use Taunt before they can.

Just going to briefly confirm that you mean Hydro Pump and not Hydro Punch, Zergling, since the latter isn't a legal move.

Just making sure you're not trying to do my head in with some crazy signature attack.

Good day, ladies and gents! Today, here at some random dusty Gym we found sittin’ in the middle of some random dusty town, an epic brawl will take place between two fiery ASBers! On one side, we have Zergling, a relative newcomer. On the other, DCM’s familiar face looks out at his opponent. Mmkay, guys, I want a nice, clean battle, y’hear?

Let’s do this!

The trainers release their two fighters in a blur of crimson light. Zergling opts for a squat little tadpole and a flame-tailed salamander, while DCM chooses his go-to Murkrow and a little snap-jawed critter. Quick as can be, Raven and Lily are first to execute their moves. The former performs a wicked aerial spin and swoops in toward Cinder, raking her talons across the Charmander’s scaled back. Lily, meanwhile, summons an icy storm to come whirling through the arena to batter the bird and the bug. Brr.

Pleased by how that Blizzard went, Cinder does a happy little jig and feels his stats spike as a result. Not to be outdone, Hiyru scuttles toward Lily and snaps his teeth around her. He begins draining her dry, sucking back as much energy as possible to replenish his own health.

Raven: <-16 HP; -3 EP>
Hiyru: <-16 HP; +5 HP; -7 EP>

Cinder just can’t shake that dancing spirit and spins around a little more, earning himself some further boosts. As Raven dives down at the Charmander a second time, Lily takes aim and strikes the bird with a blue-white beam of frigid energy. Though the Ice Beam isn’t without its bite, the Murkrow still manages to claw up Cinder nicely. Meanwhile, Hiryu blinks and begins… humming peculiarly. Eh? What’s the little guy doing? Just then, an onslaught of rocks cascade down from the air and slam themselves down on Lily and Cinder. Um, ouch?

Lily: <-8 HP; -8 EP>
Cinder: <-17 HP; -4 EP; +2 Att>

Raven: <-3 EP>
Hiyru: <-14 HP; -6 EP>

Cinder decides to take a leaf out of Hiyru’s book and commands several more rocks to rain down from the ceiling, this time leaving Raven and Hiyru a bit battered and bruised. Lily smirks and narrows her eyes. It’s… HYDRO PUNCH TIME!

(Okay, not really, but that would kind of be a cool attack, right? You just swoop in, your closed fist surrounded by a nice bubble of water and… SPLAT! Not that Poliwags have hands, but whatever. A guy can dream.)

Anyway, Lily really chooses to splatter Hiyru with a Hydro Pump. The deluge of water rushes through the air and collides with the poor Trapinch, leaving him a tad waterlogged. Raven again goes for another Aerial Ace much to Cinder’s dismay. Finally, Hiyru manages to claw his way out of the Rock Slide rubble and approach Lily. He clamps his jaws around her a second time and sucks precious life out of her body to help regain a bit of his lost health.

An early lead for Lily and Cinder overall!

Great work team! Alex (My trainers name) calls out as he sees the effectiveness of his strategy. Alex turns his cap in dramatic style and points with fierce energy at his opponents as he calls out his tactics to his loyal pokemon!

Alright Lily,cool em' off with a freezing Blizzard attack! I'm sure they'll appreciate it.
After she does that Cinder, I want you to collapse some more rocks on them with Rock Slide!

Cinder, take this turn to hit Murkrow with a Will-o-wisp! Hot and cold are great, lets show them how they work together!

The second round kicks off as Cinder raises his wee little Charmander hands up into the air to call upon the brute force of a bunch of falling boulders! The Rock Slide successfully pins down Raven and Hiyru and, just as they escape the rubble, a wicked Blizzard care of Lily bellows through the arena and puts the pair on ice.

After taking one heck of a beating from these two super-effective moves, Raven hoists Cinder into the air with her Psychic powers and brings the Flame Pokemon slamming down to the ground ruthlessly. Hiyru, meanwhile, scuttles toward Lily and performs another Giga Drain, leeching even more delicious health from her.

Cinder: <-9 HP; -6 EP>

Raven: <-36 HP; -9 EP>
Hiyru: <-26 HP; +5 HP; -7 EP>

Deciding that Raven hasn’t been put through enough grief, Cinder spits out a tiny blue flame that flutters toward the Murkrow and strikes, leaving some rather painful-looking singe marks. Irked, Raven tries the Psychic tactic all over again, this time thrusting Cinder backwards into a set of bleachers. Good thing there are no spectators, eh? Lily decides to exact some revenge on Hiyru for thieving health from her and does just that with an Ice Beam, while the Trapinch goes for a second health-sapping snap of the jaws.

Lily: <-10 HP; -8 EP>
Cinder: <-9 HP; -3 EP>

Raven: <-9 EP; Burned>
Hiyru: <-12 HP; +5 HP; -7 EP>

Cinder decides to take a more direct approach this time around and clobbers poor Raven with a boosted Fire Punch just as his ally summons a frigid gale to whisper and wail through the Gym, much to the dismay of Raven and Hiyru. Still, despite their flagging health, the twosome pull it together and execute a Psychic and a Giga Drain respectively. The former move crushes Cinder against the ground while the latter snatches away additional health from poor Lily. Despite these strong moves, Raven and Hiyru seem to be circling the drain.

Lily: <-10 HP; -3 EP>
Cinder: <-9 HP; -4 EP>

Raven: <-20 HP; -9 EP>
Hiyru: <-9 HP; +5 HP; -7 EP>

Raven begins to smell a little bit more like a roast duck as the Burn takes a toll on her <-3 HP>.

Alright, Hiyru Hop on Ravens back. Aerial Ace Charmander, but keep flying right over to Lily and use Giga Drain. Hiyru use RockSlide and Raven use BraveBird on Charmander. Raven use Aerial ACe on Lily, and Hiyru use Rock Tomb on Charmander

Lily, Fire and Ice go well together! BLIZZARD!

Though things may be looking grim for Raven and Hiyru, they haven’t abandoned all hope yet. Cinder dives in toward Hiyru with a fiery kicking-and-punching strike right as Lily shoots off a frigid Ice Beam at the little snapper. Just about emptied of health, Hiyru hops on Raven’s back… and the bird takes off! Flapping those dark wings of hers, she swoops in toward Cinder and rakes her claws across the Charmander’s head but keeps on flying toward Lily. Mid-flight, Hiyru leans in toward Lily and quickly snaps her jaws around the Poliwag before letting go. Mmm, health!

Cinder: <-3 HP; -3 HP from recoil; -10 EP>

Raven: <-3 EP>
Hiyru: <-26 HP; +5 HP; -4 EP>

Ladies and gents, the eleventh hour is upon us. Cinder directs his Flare Blitz toward Raven and batters the birdie to the best of his ability. Lily, then, summons a wintery gale to rage through the arena and swirl around Raven and Hiyru. They’re momentarily obscured within the icy eddies but, when the Blizzard parts, the outcome of this battle becomes apparent. Lying silently side-by-side, Raven and Hiyru don’t stir beneath their snowy blankets. This one’s donezo.
