Good day, ladies and gents! Ahh, a beautiful day. Chirping Pidgeys, scattering Sentrets... yup, it would prolly be just about perfect if it weren't for the fact that I, uh, seem to have gotten myself lost in the middle of the woods. Navigation was never really my forte But, fortunately, I appear to have stumbled upon a match between newcomer Deadwood_Zen and the formidable Kurosakura! Yay for random lucky woodland reffings! The two trainers deliberate over their selections before releasing, with Zen going for a rather surly mongoose while Kurosakura goes for a shiny tin can. Let’s have a fair match, guys! Game on!
Yaj starts things up by lifting his arms to the sky. The sun begins to burn brightly as it spills hot sunbeams over our clearing. However, Argyros doesn’t pay this any mind and simply commands snow-flecked wind to whistle through the woods before causing Yaj to go numb. Brr!
Yaj: <-5 HP; -4 EP>
Argyros: <-4 EP>
Argyros snickers as its foe wipes the snow out of his fur. The Metang then picks up a handful of mud and flings it at Yaj! The Zangoose, however, is far too quick; taking aim, he unleashes a blue-white beam of frigid energy that connects with the airborne mud. The Mud Slap freezes solid and falls to the ground with a clunk. Mudcicle, anyone?
Yaj: <-8 EP>
Argyros: <-3 EP>
Smug for having deflected that attack, Yaj opens wide and spews out a large flaming ideogram. The sun-boosted Fire Blast crackles through the air before colliding with Argyros, frying the little Steel-type up a bit. Concerned with its fortitude, Argyros diverts a little energy to strengthening its ability to defend certain attacks. Strong as iron!
Yaj: <-10 EP>
Argyros: <-19 HP; -4 EP; +2 Def>
