Three pokemon versus one megamon: the legendary Rayquaza. For fairness sakes, since it's three-on-one, Ray's stats have been boosted:

Setting: The peak of a mountain plateau. The skies are cloudy, but there's no sign of rain whatsoever.

Now who has what it takes to defeat the boss?

Honestly I want a shot at this too, but I'm full up on matches until they're over, and right now the one that looks the closest to being completed is my match against Wolfsong with Rossy being kinda slow atm.

However, before I go stating my interest in throwing Ziz against this thing, I want to know if this is allowable by DL and MLG, because I've thought about trying a similar match-up of just beating on a legendary, and wondering how the point system would work.

So I wait on the DL and a MLG to speak.

Ok, didn't check all the thread guys, so sorry if I'm late.

Boss-fights are approved, but with a few rules. The rules are gonna be 2 points per 100HP and EN the 'boss' has. So 6 points for 300 is correct. No winning extra points if you take it out, though.

Only Master-refs can host Boss-battles aswell, so you're in the clear Grey.

As last, bosses can only be a select number of pokemon, but I'll keep you posted on that. You're safe with Rayquaza, though, so go nuts.

ROUND I
The three warriors of light climb to the peak of the plateau, eager to claim their rewards for doing so. But alas, before they can even wipe the sweat off their foreheads, a massive dragon-serpant roars at them loudly, and someone hits the play button on the stereo in the background, starting up the epic boss battle theme. Rayquaza begins to tower over all three pokemon, even Steelix, as the battle begins.

Wasting no time, the legendary pokemon dives downward with his claw smothered in ghostly energy. SLASH! He swipes at the icy Frostbite with great ferocity [ -13HP L. Frostbite / -5PP Rayquaza ]. She squeals out in pain before remembering her mission. Snapping her fingers, her team becomes surrounded by a protective barrier [ -5PP L. Frostbite / Team WoL Safeguarded ]. Next up is Solid, a cobalt-colored robot with great intelligence. He whips out a mental shockwave that attempts to hold down the dragon pokemon, but the effect doesn't hold for as much as he'd hope [ -7HP Rayquaza / -5PP Solid ]. Last up is Steelix, who screeches as loudly and as harshly as possible, putting the dragon pokemon on edge [ -20% Def Rayquaza / -2PP Steelix ]

Rayquaza, perhaps startled by Steelix's screeching, goes on a rampage and slashes at Solid with several fierce slashes and cuts, sending it to the floor harshly [ -14HP Solid / -7PP Rayquaza ]. Frostbite sees and opening, and blasts the legend with a chilling wind, taking advantage of his weakness [ -8HP, -10% Spd Rayquaza / -3PP L. Frostbite ]. With Rayquaza still wailing on Solid, Steelix opts to defend him by smashing the dragon with his steel tail [ -10HP Rayquaza / -5PP Steelix ]. Rayquaza tumbles on the ground, and upon pulling himself back up, is greeted by Solid's ice punch [ -14HP Rayquaza / -5PP Solid ].

The third act commences, and Rayquaza again starts beating at the poor metang forcefully [ -14HP Solid / -7PP Rayquaza ]. Frostbite this time becomes more serious, blasting the dragonfly with a much more powerful wind [ -22HP Rayquaza / -10PP L. Frostbite ]. Again, Ray tumbles to the ground while Solid stomps on him with his dominant claw [ -10HP Rayquaza / -5PP Solid ]. Steelix is the last at bat, once more slamming the dragon pokemon with his tail [ -10HP Rayquaza / -5PP Steelix ].

Before the HoL team can even prepare for their attacks, the dragon pokemon splits himself into several images, six total, and surrounds them [ -10PP, +84% Eva Rayquaza ]. Frostbite, very intimidated, still takes point and sends another icy cold wind that brushes against two of the Rayquaza clones. They both vanish in a puff of smoke [ -3PP L. Frostbite / -9% Eva Rayquaza ]. Solid takes a stab at it, stomping down on another Rayquaza with his metallic claw [ -5PP Solid / -9% Eva Rayquaza ]. Steelix once more ends the first act by screeching loudly [ -20% Def Rayquaza / -2PP Steelix ]. It's not enough to cause Ray to lose his concentration, however.

Ray charges up for his next attack, aimed at Frostbite. As he charges, Steelix quickly burrows underground to safety [ -3PP Steelix ]. After just a few moments, Rayquaza fires and connects with the icy ghost pokemon [ -9HP L. Frostbite / -5PP Rayquaza ]. Frostbite pulls herself together and summons a large chunk of ice from hammerspace, dropping it on one of the Rayquaza. The clone vanishes just like the others [ -7PP L. Frostbite / -16% Eva Rayquaza ]. Solid grabs hold of another Rayquaza with his mind, and before he can even do anything with it, it vanishes again [ -5PP Solid ], leaving only one remaining.

Rayquaza dives onto the ground and grabs some dirt before slapping the metang with it sharply [ -7HP, -10% Acc Solid / -3PP Rayquaza ]. Frostbite takes her chance, and fires off another chillingly cold blast of wind that cripples the dragonmon [ -22HP Rayquaza / -10PP L. Frostbite ]. Solid struggles to regain his vision, but holds his arms out vibrantly, summoning a violent gravity boost. The ground practically absorbs every pokemon [ -7PP Solid / Gravity activated ]. The end of the second round comes when Steelix, noting his cue, burrows underneath the loan Rayquaza and tackles him from underneath [ -8HP Rayquaza / -2PP Steelix ].

Without hesitation, Ray charges forward at Frostbite as she fires off her blizzard spell. His intense speed causes the blizzard [ -9PP L. Frostbite ] to miss him entirely as he collides with the icey ghost pokemon [ -10HP L. Frostbite / -5PP Rayquaza ]. With his sights focused on the icemon, he misses Steelix chomping down harshly on his tail, freezing it [ -12HP Rayquaza / -5PP Steelix ]. Solid is the last to act yet gain, punching the dragon with his icy claw [ -14HP Rayquaza / -6PP Solid ].

The dragon haults attacking for a moment, and strengthens his attack power greatly [ -5PP, +20% Atk Rayquaza ], as Frostbite finally nails him with another blizzard [ -22HP Rayquaza / -9PP L. Frostbite ]. Both Steelix and Solid attack in tandem, with their steel appendages slamming down into the legendary dragon [ -10HP + -10HP Rayquaza / -5PP Steelix / -5PP Solid ].

Now even more angry, Rayquaza once more goes for the heaviest hitter, striking her in to torso with his ramming head, causing her to lose complete concentration on what she was doing [ -11HP L. Frostbite, Flinch / -5PP Rayquaza ]. Steelix once more comes to her honor by chomping down on the legend's tail while Solid holds him down with his thoughts [ -12HP + -7HP Rayquaza / -5PP Steelix / -5PP Solid ].

The three pokemon instanty retalliate with their icy techniques [ -22HP + -14HP + -12HP Rayquaza / -9PP L. Frostbite / -6PP Solid / -5PP Steelix ].

Still angry, but greatly weakening, Ray taunts Steelix [ +20% Atk Steelix / -2PP Rayquaza ] -- perhaps not the best move at this point; the towering steel serpent gives into his anger, and once more slams his icy fangs into the dragon's scales [ -14HP Rayquaza / -6PP Steelix ], while the others follow up similarly [ -22HP + -14HP Rayquaza / -9PP L. Frostbite / -6PP Solid ].

Ray's swan song: a super-massive roar that rattles the feathers of all three pokemon, deafening their ears greatly [ -10HP L. Frostbite / -10HP Solid / -10HP Steelix / -5PP Rayquaza ]. Steelix, still angry, bites down once more on the Rayquaza [ -11HP Rayquaza / -6PP Steelix ]. The metang's gravity spell wears off, and Rayquaza cries out in pain as someone tosses an Ultra Ball to capture him.

Ray sees the ball, and using whatever strength he has left, fires a hyper beam at it, destroying it easily. Before anyone can throw another, Ray flies off. No one, unfortunately, thought to use Mean Look to keep him in the battlefield whatsoever.
