Sol quietly drags along as Char forgets about him for now. He starts belting out smoke, enough smoke to definitely make it hard for Sol to see. If Sol cared about seeing, that is. Sol went to work reasserting its clonage, forcing 3 more to appear..and disappear. Sand storm....

With all this evasiveness going on, its no surprise that Sol was unable to even see the Charmander. He quietly walked around, trying to find something to hack a loogie upon. But no, nothing was in view.

Then the fire came. It swayed through the smoke, making it harder to breathe for the time being. Sol grunted, but felt better when he realized it didn't hurt as much as it looked.

A little miffed that fat arse sand hippo was still milling about, Charmander exploded into a Rage. Fire of an arcane type flew in all direction, and Sol was careful to step backwards. He still was caught by the insidious attack, and that left Sol with only one recluse. Stockpile again.

Back on the Indigo! People looove this place. Well why wouldn't you? Its where dreams are made. Well, enough of the nostalgia-let's do this! Out first is a Charmander from ambasaur, a trainer ready to make her mark on the battle. Eager to try and put her in her place is C-Dub, and he releases a Hippopotas named Solitudo. Upon Solitudo's release, a Sandstorm whips around the arena

Solitudo looks blankly at Char, and yawns. That kinda ticks the fiery lizard off and he uses his small amount of rage to punch Sol. Sol takes the hit. He then falls on his belly, and splits into clones. 4 clones--that vanish due to the sandstorm.

With all these clones, wiped away Chamander's rage grew ..well no, it didn't. He tried to have some reason to be angry at the sluggish Hippo, but with his next tail swipe, he'd only reinforce the face that Sol was a bit slow.. Sol didn't even seem to care. All Sol did was take a deep breath next. That's all.

Givcing up on being mad at something that doesn't hit back, Charmander tries for a Slash. The claws rake through air, slicing Sol. Charmander huffs, this wasn't very fun. Sol just takes a deep breath again...

The Sandstorm whipping about gave Char something to groan about. (-3)

The Sandstorm keeps on whipping about, and Charmander seems to have had enough of being scratched. With a mighty char-he starts prancing about, calling for a change. It seems the heavens heed his dance, and bestow bountiful sunlight on the field again.

Sol look up and grunts, forcing her natural instinct into overdrive. Yeah...sand's back. (-1)

That's quite displeasing. As the sands ravage on, Charmander tries to just quit the theatrics, and burn her foe into submission. A Flamethrower finds its mark, with all this wind blowing sand around-the smoke is all but gone. Sol is caught up in a Flamethrower, but his thickened hide seems to only tan from it. He digs away from the flames though, no need for all that.

Quietly underground, Sol listens for what could be the sound of a large fire attack. But with no target, Char just waits. Yeah the sand is annoying (-1). but he's not gonna waste time and energy when there's nothing to hit.

Thinking the attack must have to had happen by now, Sol speeds up and takes down Char from below. Char rolls to safety and then ignites the flint! The whole area goes up in fiery sand flames, and Sol groans. Damnit! It waited!

The last of the Smoke blows away within the sandstorm

With the sand back in full play, Sol seems quite relieved with the outcome thus far. Even as Charmander runs right over and tries to set his hiney on fire. Again.(-1). Sol realizes he needs to eliminate this threat, and Swallows his pride in order to do that.

With that completed Sol now focuses, and Charmander is all but amazed at the fact that his flamethrower did nothing at all to this sandy beast. Sol grunts, and Char replies with a Slash to his face. The ground begins to quake, and Sol bellows, forcing Charmander to fall back on uneven terra. (-1)

Charmander hisses, and stands right back up, spinning on his right foot His tail lashes around and strikes Sol in the face. Sol goes rolling, but uses that roll to execute another Earthquake that fells Charmander again.

Charmander doesn't give up, even though his foe seems pretty lax about the whole battle situation.(-1). He speeds in and slashes at the fat hippo's nose. This seems to irritate Sol, and he once again bellows into the ground. This creates a few ripples that give Charmander an unsettling view of the ground-up close.

Feeling really exhausted, Chamrmader slashes at Sol again. Sol grunts, but just starts to build up energy again. Man that thing is lazy. (-1)

Charmander has had it with being battered to kingdom come. So Charmander settles down, as the storms lash against his hide, and he Rests. Sol stares-dumbfounded. That...wasn't supposed to happen. So he tries to wake Char up with a Earthquake.

Falling alseep was out of the question. But even as she stumbled to regain alertness, she spied the chubby hjippo rolling over. Was he even battling? Her body went bouncing off of his hardened hide, and she landed in a heap, fast asleep.(-1)

Sol stared blankly at the wall, even though Eevee gave him a nice solid yawn.(-1). Love was a strange mechanism, and he was definitely still under its confusing influence as he lied there, stunned. Tired feeling started to make his eyes droop, but nothing more.

Though the sands were still whirling and hurting, Eevee grunted and prayed to the stars for guidance. She wished herself a better outcome to this match. Sol meanwhile, stood up, and let loose a tremor that seemed to rock Eevee's world.(-1)

Despondant about being struck, Eevee looked back to her "lover" only to see him tip over in sleep. Yes! But he was not done moving, apparently! A dark sphere rammed itself into Sol's nostril before exploding. Man that's gotta hurt.
