To provide some entertainment for our people, to keep us sharp, to satisfy my need for eternal-progressing; I challenge you! To an Elite Four battle, which as written in the Tower of the Ascended will include a two on two pokemon battle, one out at a time.

Since this is a GYM/E4 battle, it can go outside the limited four slots.

DQ: 5 days (this should be no problem for you)
Banned moves: None I believe (since it is a GYM/E4 battle), bummer.
Abilities on.
We well send our first pokemon to the ref, then he'll decide who attacks first.
Arena: Well, I think I should challenge you on your personal arena to make it fair and realistic. If you don't have one yet, we can work something out.

The battlefield is a worn plain filled with stagnant air and an overall grimness. On either side of the plain stands two pillars -- one designed to absorb health, and one designed to drain it. Hrm. Never reffed here before. Heard about this place though. The Pillars of Heaven and Hell. Well, no arena is too strange for me to ref. Place sure is dusty though.

Anyway, satellite com signal up...got the headset on. Mic's only for effect..and YES! BROADCASTING STRAIGHT OUT OF PURGATORY, ITS YOUR MASTERFUL REF! *Digitized cheers*

MLG & Grey: Why do we let him DO this? Every time!

--Alright you two. You're mad becasue you're only the Third Elite-and you Grey..well you don't care you're the top of the top but HE wants to take you down and you don't think he has the cajones to assume the mantle at the top of the top!

The battle for supremacy begins here and now! You MLG, will use..Twister Syster! And you Greyfox, will use Leviathan! Now let's see a match worthy of Elite parameters!

Twisted starts off by looking dead at Leviathan, her extrasensory ability already giveing her a premonition that whatever was coming her way would be not to her liking. Leviatha aims both cannons at her, and builds up opposing primary colors in each cannon. They fire, a stream of buzzing energy that wraps around ech other-heading right for Twisted. He lunges out of the way, taking only a glancing blow from that Beam, and retaliated with a trick all his own.

He rolls toward Leviathan and manages to grab his arms around Leviathan's massive bulk. He then squeezes, trying his best to get enough grip to give Leviathan a nasty rug burn. It works, partially, as Leviathan feels the pressure on his lower abdomen.

Approving very little of this powerful strike, Levi spreads his legs and assumed a balanced stance. He turns his head down to keep an eye on Twisted. Twisted releases her grip and backs away, sneering with a maniacal glint in his eye. The plot though, does not seem to have any real bite behind it as Levi dashes forward and punches the male Jynx in the face!

Twisted barrels backwards, holding his face. That hurt more than he expected.

Recovering from such a powerful blow, Twisted aims to knock that giant turtle off his feet. He flings his arms up, and force grass seeds to sprout in this silent land. Levi notes this and takes a tentative step back, but the sprouts are shooting up awfully fast.

Knowing there's only one way to avoid this, Levi jumps and tucks his appendages into his shell, before landing on the ground. He rotates rapidly, shearing the grasses away until they desist their incumbent attack.

While the match has been going on, those Pillars have been attaching their ethereal tendrils to the Pokemon, but since they cancel each other out, they're not really worth mentioning...yet.

Levi, start with an Iron Defense. Then use Rock Slide, followed by Flash Cannon! However, if he tries Grass Knot again, use another Rapid Spin.

Darkly, it's Twisted Sister, with the 'i'; but I like the fancyness of the 'y' Could you add in the +2 special attack boost in the stats? Since I tend to forget such things and then neglect them during my own nasty schemes; which would be a shame!

Ok, Sis, payback time. Start off with Lovely Kiss! Then if Levi is asleep, Nasty Plot again and finish with Dream Eater. If he doesn't fall alseep, use Psychic to hold the rocks and blast them back together with your psychic attack; and finish with Nasty Plot if its asleep by then. Energy Ball if it's not.

Levi and Twisted both decide that close quarters combat is not the best way to continue this battle, Levi flees, seemingly making his ass even denser, and Twisted LIKES it. He likeD it so much that he blows a kiss Levi's way. Levi doesn't notice that fact that a kiss landed on his face-and is now slowly putting him under.

Twisted just watches as Levi falls to his chest again, asleep on this dry dry plain.

Satisfied that the beast is asleep, Twisted walks over and sits down, fanning his dress out to reveal nothing. He sits there and smacks Levi's head a few times, while coming up with a nice sinister ploy to destroy this turtle with. Maybe...some turtle soup?

Levi doesn't move still, snoozing away. This makes it easy for Twisted to link up with Leviathan's sleep waves with no obstruction. Ugh dreams about swimming. How droll. But it does not stop Twisted from eating away at said dreams and gaining a small benefit from it.

For now Levi still sleeps.

Glad to see that teh turtle still did not stir, Twisted once again began to file and nibble away at those dreams. Leviathan groaned, but still did not rise. But he did aim his cannons to, and let off a healthy blast of energy. Twisted got no warning from her ability, and thus was enveloped by the Focus Blast

Twisted rose up, displeased with being struck by that rogue attack, and set up a Screen to filter away any more incoming hits. But Levi, Levi now woke up and groggily strode over to the glittering construction. As he regained his hearings, his fists went right through the screen, and into Twisted's gut.

Defenseless, Twisted coughs and wheezes, falling to her knees. She had to do something. he immediately throws an Energy Ball right for him, in order to make Levi back up. But no, Levi welcomes the blow, his body already glowing a soft magenta. It takes the force of the Energy ball and barrels it right back at Twisted!

Levi takes a wary step back and reconfigures its cannons. But Twisted does not like the look of that. Remembering the force behind such a blow last time, he makes sure the grasses have a little bit of a say in this. The shoots seem to have a bit of trouble pulling Levi down, but they do their job-smashing the beast to the ground, if not as hard as last time.

Hopwever, there was a nasty drawback. As the Focus Blast whizzed past, it SLAMMED into the Hell Pillar on MLG's side. The pillar wavered, but a large chunk fell off of its top. A strange aura glowed around Leviathan, but it then reestablished itself.

Twisted, not noting anything else happening to his pillars, turns back to the font at hand. Leviathan straightens himself up and takes those fallen pieces of the pillar. Stuffing them into his cannons, he takes fire, and blasts them all at Twisted.

Twisted's body shivers, and yet he doesn not run out of the way. He jumps at the boulders, getting smashed by quite a few of the Corinthian chunks. The boulders seem to actually bounce his body toward Leviathan, and the turtle only can watch as a few come hurtling back his way. He turns around and tucks himself in, the hits shattering against his shell.

Leviathan stands up, feeling the toll of battle beating down on his body. Twisted sees the fatigue ripping at Leviathan and goes to end his involvement in this fight. They each fire off a energy blast, Twisted was a familiar green sphere, while Levi's seemed to be an actual liquidation of its left cannon!

The Flash Cannon gave Twisted the shivers, and that in effect, threw off the Energy Ball's path. It curved sharply, and Levi fell on his right side from being partially hit by that souped up blow, just as Twisted manages to avoid a full hit from that steel blast. But damnit, the rest of the hit now shatters into the Hell Pillar. Stupid Rock things.

Twisted hisses, as an aura covers Levi for a quick moment again. Somethings going on....and its coulda helped Levi live.

Perseus makes a grand entrance, and Twisted sees this as a way to quickly wrack up the damage. He runs over, and goes for the bear hug. But that's a no go, Perseus is damned quick and smacks her hand away while fleeing to the right, and then to the left---all to culminate to a kick to her face. (+1)

TS: -9E/-10H ~~ Per: -7E

Spilling against the floor, the Jynx looks mighty disoriented. That hit has more power than she approved of. She she changed her options to a more devastating blast. That of a Shadowball. It was formed oddly fast and lobbed with just the same speed. Perseus had begun striding over toward him, but upon spotting the sphere, had little time to react.

He crosses his arms and took the hit dead on, disgusted at its power. To retaliate, he ran up to the Jynx and roundhouses him, all the while ensuring the flames on his foot left with with a seared reminder.

TS: -5E/-14H ~~ Per: -7E/-20H

Twisted stands up, but this time Perseus is faster with the retaliatory blast. Its a Pulse of pure darkness, something Jynx does not like. He tries to evade it, and then worries about the stupid Pillar behind her. He struck in the chest, and goes flying into the Hell pillar himself. (+1)

Now out comes a newer member of Mlg's Ice Team. Its a Froslass :/. I better get on the ball with mine. Anyway Yui starts off the match hauntingly fast. She splits into 4 clones, leaving Perseus with a slight conundrum. At this point, he refuses to make an error, and swings.

But it's a miss.(+1)

Still in close range to teh phantoms, Perseus turns to the one solo ghost on his left and SLashes at it. A ball of light was fired to try and deter this attack, but it connects! Yui floats backwards, pained by the cut. Perseus though stares blankly into the sky.

Not at all amused with being struck so early, Yui now turns to dismantle the confused Perseus. She fires off a Shadowball, and that knocks Perseus on his ass. The fighter takes the blow and stares at the sky.(+1)

Teleport to get behind her and avoid that first shadow ball, then hit her with Fire Punch! Let's see if she can freeze arms that are engulfed with flames. Finally, when the next shadow ball comes your way, throw your own Shadow Ball at it and let's see what happens!

Perseus knows that the match intensity is heating up. So when Yui takes the actual air around the pillars and craft it into a sphere, Perseus knows this could make or break the match. He runs at her, and vanishes right as the sphere heads for his legs. The sphere flies and collides into a pillar!

Reappearing, Perseus realizes what happened, but still continues his battle.(+1)

YF: -7E ~~ Per: -7E Hea: -10E

The phantom turns around, irate that he would dare try to avoid his fate! But Perseus lives up to his name, as he unsheates his blades and lights them on fire with but a few swipes. An Ice Beam comes hurtling for him and he punches right through it, connecting with Yui. The hit still hurts, but he knows Yui is feeling the pain as well.

YF: -7E/-8H ~~ Per: -6E/-8H

Perseus jumps back, shaking his hands free of the chill. Yui floats backwards for the moment, before forming a second Shadowball. Acting before thinking, Perseus flings a Shadowball right for the incoming sphere, and barely has time to block before the two blasts collide.

The resulting explosion hurts both Pokemon, and leaves them strewn upon the ground. Perseus sits up, as Yui floats up, angered by being hit by that blast.(+1)

Yui kicks it up a notch and floats past the Heaven Pillar on her side. She spins and tries to conjour up something, even as Persues makes due with the two clones he's created. But a bit of bad luck befalls the swordsmon.

The weather changes to that of Hail, something that not only dispells his clones, but also gives him a smidgeon of pain that seems to block out his slight healing advantage. Yui smirks, having gained a slight advantage in the match.(+/-1)

Hail: 3 rds

As the hail falls, Perseus quits being melodramatic, and goes for the kill. He charges and launches a sphere few deathly ghost energy right at Yui. Yui conjures up enough Psychic ability (at a higher cost to her) in order to overhand that sphere backward, and aim at at Perseus. The Gallade hisses as he's struck by that sneaky reversal. (-1)

YF: -11E ~~ Per: -8E/-16H

Hurt from his own blast, Perseus quits the ranged approach, and opts for a more personal touch. Blades extend and he runs for her, ready to slice that phantom up. She comes prepared though and flings her own Shadowball, with little more oomph at him. He slices through it, ignoring the pain for the moment as he manages to actually connect with her form and slices her back. (+/-1)

Yui sesnes that she can easily win this match with a well placed through. She sizes up Perseus, whom stands still, blades sheathed. His hands are together-palm to palm, and he seems to be glowing. Great idea, idiot, glow during a Hailstorm so I can see you better.(+/-1)

Yui flings her sphere of ghastly intent just as a dark wave sweeps past. Perseus opens his eyes and welcomes the hit. The crashing force is enough to rip Perseus in unconsciousness, but that's not where the battle ends. The embattled energy used to rip Perseus away flings itself back toward it's maker!

Yui shrieks as she feels her own life force rip away, before falling to the ground as well. Folks, we have a tie
