We both send our first pokemon to the ref and he/she ref decides who attacks first.
DQ: 5 days (this should be no problem I think).
Banned moves: Toxic and Pain Split.

The arena is up to you. Nothing too distracting I would say, but if you have a complex idea that's cool too. I'd love to hear it.

Round 1
We enter a battle for the masses to see -- a colossal battle between the two titan moderators, DarkestLight and MeLoVeGhOsTs. Their first pokémon are secrets to the other as the hadsome and ageless referee, Greyfox, tosses them into the castle arena. Emerging from the two is Irou, a smooth-chirping murkrow, and Wyndryde, a stoic absol. The attacks are called out, the the battle begins!

Irou begins by flapping his tiny winds and whipping up a tiny waft of wind to sweep along the dungeon and across Wynd's features [ -5HP, -10% Spd Wyndryde / -5PP Irou ]. Wynd takes the brushing lightly before blasting the bird out of the air with a weakened snap of electricity [ +25% Par Irou / -5PP Wyndryde ].

Irou, slightly perturbed, decides to confuse his foe with a vacant stare, but Wynd's come prepared. The crow stares blankly into the eyes of his foe before realizing that the eyes he's staring into are in fact his own [ +25% Con, -3PP Irou / -5PP Wyndryde ].

Irou blinks for a few seconds before absorbing a bolt of pure electricity shot from Wynd [ -14HP Irou / -7PP Wyndryde ]. He snaps back to reality long enough to ascend into the air and dive into Wynd in a corkscrew fasion [ -8HP Wyndryde / -6PP Irou ].

Round 2
Irou closes his eyes and keeps his cool, alleviating his confusing muchly [ +10% SpA, +10% SpD, -5PP Irou ] as Wynd hits him with a series of rocks from inside the castle walls [ -11HP Irou / -5PP Wyndryde ].

Feeling satisfied with the way that last attack went down, Wynd readies another. A powerful blast of energy shoots through the air, utilizing its surroundings to gather strength. The energy blast collides sharply with Irou [ -7HP Irou / -5PP Wyndryde ]. It feels like he's been stabbed, but he's still capable, using his telekinesis to lift his paralysis and grant it to his opponent [ -25% Par, -7PP Irou / +25% Par Wyndryde ].

Suddenly faster than his foe, Irou swoops down from a high altitude and slaps a small collection of dust and dirt into Wynd's eyes, blinding him temporarily [ -4HP, -10% Acc Wyndryde / -4PP Irou ]. The blindness causes Wynd's flamethrower to go off-target, just barely clipping the bird [ -4HP Irou / -7PP Wyndryde ].

Round 3
Wynd readies for a chilling wind, but gets slapped in the eyes with another volley of mud before he can utilize his technique [ -4HP, -10% Acc Wyndryde / -4PP Irou ]. The absol struggles against it before summoning to chilling winds to brush against the bird, dealing moderate damage [ -8HP, -10% Spd Irou / -3PP Wyndryde ].

The murkrow plans out his next attack and, feeling like he knows what Irou's about to do next, Wynd attempts it as well. However, before he can even muster the strength to do so, his muscles seize up! Just in time for him to be struck by Irou's own heat wave [ -11HP Wyndryde / -9PP Irou ].

Irou then summons a maelstrom of stale energy to envelope around a target around Wynd, but somehow the wolf has completely evaded it [ -6PP Irou ]! Wynd, with his muscles relaxed, has vanished into the shadows before appearing behind Irou and tackling him to the ground weakly [ -4HP Irou / -3PP Wyndryde ].

Ready to take down this crow, Wynd starts charging up a little electricity in his body, but before he can do something with it, Irou stares into his eyes and lulls him into a mild confusion [ +25% Con Wyndryde / -4PP Irou ] that makes him completely unable to do anything...

The bird caws and cackles, releasing another brilliant heat wave that engulfs the wolf. Wynd endures the hit as best as he can [ -11HP Wyndryde / -9PP Irou ] before retalliating with a blade of electricity that shoots Irou out of the air [ -9HP Irou / -4PP Wyndryde ]; his confusion is now eased.

Irou ascends into the air once more before drenching the absol in more heat [ -11HP Wyndryde / -9PP Irou ]. Wynd's muscles freeze up once more, preventing him from retalliating.
