So only 1 of my 3 open challenges was picked up. Guess you twerps are scared of reading arenas that are longer than one sentence in description...

No matter. I'm still trying.

1. This will be a 3-on-3 battle, 1 Pokemon at a time.
2. The ref will decide who sends out first.
3. DQ is the standard 1 week.
4. I'm not banning any moves. If you wanna ban anything, ask and I might probably will maybe agree.
5. The arena:

Golgotha

A seemingly endless desert graveyard under a hazy sky with a large, red Sun. Mountains of bone surround the arena, and various skulls and simple cross-shaped grave markers of human and Pokemon alike litter the actual battlefield. A nearby riverbed provides barely enough water for attacks like Surf. Despite the obvious stench of death pervading the colossal cemetery, the area is devoid of any Ghost Pokemon...

Start with Shadow Ball, then use Energy Ball. Finish with Ominous Wind.

Use Disable if she tries any status attacks.

Ahh, Golgotha. It's been a while since I've been at the burial place of my heart.

Blade&Mike: O.o?

..Err I'm reading "Samurai sayings." You gotta admit, it would be pretty cool to walk onto a place like this and say that. Calm down and call out your Pokemon already.

..Prolly perturbed by my choice of words, both battlers whip out their first battlers. A pint size bone wielder versus a phantom. Hrm. Well, the phantom gets a swift hit in, lathering up Bones' vision with a Shadowball to the face. Bones rolled around on the hard earth, trying to get the stinging pain out.

It took a few moments, but a teary eyed Cubone lashes back to layeth the smacketh downeth. He swings his club at a rock, which flies up and hits that CANDY ASS GHOST! in the head! It's a perfect hit, as Bow floats right to the ground.

LB: -7E/-8H ~~ Bo: -5E/-10H

That was irksome. Bow decides her retribution for this insolence will be swift and painful. The sweet smell of freshly cut grass blazes across this barren landscape, and Bones tries to deflect it. But his small ulna is too weak and he gets a nice helping of grassy energy to contend with. Strewn across the field a bit Bones picks herself up, and slams her ulna into the ground. The force of the strike is enough to actually bounce Bow around. She never felt this kind of pain before and immediately dislikes!

LB: -8E/-24H ~~ Bo: -8E/-16H

Ticked off by the use of a ground move after being SMACKETH DOWNTH, Bow howls and speeds over toward Bones. Bones welcomes the incoming, as she zips through and past gravemarkers with ease. A strong wind precedes her, and Bones raises an arm to deal with its chilling grip, but when Bow reaches striking distance. Bones slams his ulna into the ground. Instead of a full fledged quake, the higher tilled earth sweeps across laterally, catching Bow off guard and partially buying her.

Actually, I looked up Cubone's moveset, saw Smack Down, and purposely left out a sub move for it. I figured playing dumb for a bit afterwards would work considering I'm... well, Blade.

Consider it a birthday gift. A brief belief that you stand a chance against me.

Good. Time to revoke it.

Bow, use your speed to your advantage, and use Hypnosis before she can get an Earthquake off. Or at least get in the air before it goes off and THEN Hypnotize her.

Once she's Asleep, use Toxic; once she's Poisoned, use Taunt.

Move: Hypnosis until it works, Toxic until it works, Taunt

Thought physically stunted for the moment, Bow already has a plan concocting in her brain. as Bones readies herself for another rally, waves of energy begin mulling in Bone's headpiece. They reverberate greatly, and soon the ulna slips from her grasp. Down she goes, and Bow speeds over, glad that worked.

But then, why is the ground till rumbling. When have you ever seen a Cubone drop their weapon? The shock of being defenseless jolted Bones awake for a few mere moments.

LB: -3E/-18H ~~ Bo: -8E Drw

Uh uh! Not cool. Bow fired off a stronger set of waves, and these did the job, Bones fell on her stomach, splayed out across the barren landscape. Ticked off that she was struck, Bow gleefully crawled over the fighter and began shifting in place. Eyes and tongue disappeared in its matrix and all one could see was strange pulsating.

LB: -3E ~~ Bo: ZzzZ

After a few moments, Bow's mouth opened, and out poured a strange greenish purple substance that slathered all over the skull and back of Bones. It seeped in rather quickly, and Bones visibly shook. Yeah, Toxic'ed all the way.

Being a phantom, it was very easy for Bow to start mouthing off all sorts of unpleasantness at the sleeping opponent. The Taunt however, fell on a sleeping Pokemon. Who Taunts sleeping Pokemon?

Well, it must have worked, because Bones Flung her femur and clobbered Bow right in the head. That hurt.

LB: -3E/-10H ~~ Bo: -4E

Wincing from the seemingly evil power that Cubone wielded; Lady Bow slithered backwards, all the while shooting off embers. They flew and managed to land on the neck of Bones, giving her a fresh new burn-that jolted her right out of sleep! (-1)

But she chilled out, trying to figure out how this worked.

LB: -2E ~~ Bo: +6E Brn

With no orders, (-1) Bones was privy to a strange concoction of power that seemed to bear heavily on her soul. Was she cursed? No. But it had a similar feel-and her weakened state did not help matters.

Hex's were always fun.

Lady Bow tries to focus her energies into crippling the Pokemon. Bones grunted, and slammed his club into the ground. The stones that Bones hit fly toward the ghost. Bow seeps through the cracks and tries the Hypnosis again.

It hits, and Bones hisses, holding his head. (-1)

LB: -3E/-10H ~~ Bo: -8E Slp

Bones fell flat on his face, and Lady now began nibbling on those sweet dreams of a wanna be samurai. Bow takes a moment to look down at Bones. Nope, no movement (-1)

LB: -7E/+6H ~~ Bo: -12H Slp

Bones wriggled in its sleep, but those dreams were still being eaten with relish. Prolly some ketchup too. (-1)

(9) Bones coughed, and lied still. He was barely alive at this point.
