Actually, it won't really miss the Swiss. I just came up with the rhyme before I had all the facts, and couldn't bear to part with it.

Anyhow, due to child pornography laws in Sweden, Dead or Alive Dimensions is not getting released in some parts of Europe.

I've always been a tad bit confused on the taboos of underage portrayal myself. Kasumi has been 16 for a decade now and Brooke Shields was the subject of ogling at the age of 15 in Blue Lagoon.

I'm not typically one for censorship, but I really think that someone needs to start raising eyebrows about the typical sexualisation of characters who are underage. It sounds prude, but if you end up knocking boots with a 17 year old, you're in big trouble. Shouldn't scantily-clad fictional 16 year olds then also be discouraged?

For crying out loud, just bump the age of Kasumi up to 18 and be done with it. There's some sort of perverse fascination with a nubile young lady and it frankly seems quite wrong the more I think about it.

I'm not saying that you should axe all underage characters, but look at Talim in Soul Calibur. She doesn't feature exaggerated knockers and a series of bikini renders to leer upon.

This particular banning doesn't exactly support my argument however, considering that the legal age of consent there is 15. So yeah, a bit of oddness there, but let's look at the broader picture.

Bad news. Looks like I won't be getting my DOA Dimensions. My mother didn't find it anywhere, and the shop had said even the importer hasn't it. Plus, I didn't find it in my town either yesterday.
