Default BTPoke v. Oslo [Ref: Grey]

Figured I might as well do more than one battle at once.

Battle: 2v2 single battle, abilities included, Double Team Not allowed.
Order: First, I need someone to accept my challenge, then we need a ref. Once that's done, I will send my pokemon out first, and My opponent will attack first.
    DQ Time: 1 week
Arena- The forest of Aromas: This special forest is filled with a special type of flower that gives off a re-energizing aroma that gives each pokemon 5 point of energy each turn, although for each pokemon, there is a 30% chance of giving 10 points of energy instead of 1.

You can't start this battle, all four of your Pokemon are currently in battle with me.

Oslo is correct. Your pokémon can be in multiple regular battles as well as the Safari Zone at the same time. However, if they are in a gym or elite 4 battle, they can't participate in anything else.

    Good choice!

I choose Oedipa, my female Cubone with Rock Head.

Oedipa, kick things off with a Swords Dance! Follow with Double-Edge and then Aerial Ace.

    THE FOREST OF AROMAS
    BTPOKE vs. OSLO
    2-on-2

    ARENA
    The Forest of Aromas

This special forest is filled with a special type of flower that gives off a re-energizing aroma that gives each pokemon 5 points of energy each turn, although for each pokemon, there is a 30% chance of giving 10 points of energy instead of 5.

    Round ONE
We enter the Forest of Aromas, an serene forest with smells ranging from super delicious to mega tasty. Newcomer BTPoke, alongside Sake, his fighting pokemon, has established an open challenge to anyone and everyone, and Oslo, the newest Gym Leader for TPML has accepted this challenge. Oslo, meanwhile, summons Oedipa, a baby cubone.

Oedipa grips onto his femur bone in an attempt to draw strength from it. However, before he can even focus it into a maneuver, he is slapped in the back of the head by Sake -- the attack makes him completely forget what he was doing.

    SAKE : -2PP // -4HP, *flinch* : OEDIPA

Sake smirks, and begins focusing his chi as a means to gather strength. He is more successful than his mommy issues opponent. Oedipa, however, is none too pleased with this outlook, and charges at Sake with an unbelievable speed. The tiny lizard pokemon slams into Sake powerfully, knocking the wind out of him easily. That little guy hits hard!

    SAKE : -5PP, +2Atk, -12HP // -8PP : OEDIPA

Sake, feeling very winded, struggles to stand up, and as he attempts to for the third time, he is once more tackled by Oedipa -- this time aerially! The young fighter finally manages to pull himself together, and throws his fist into Oedipa, draining away at the critter's health slowly.

The round ends, and both pokemon stop to smell the roses around them, feeling even more energized!

    SAKE : -9HP, -6PP, +5HP, +5PP // -4PP, -9HP, +10PP : OEDIPA

    REF NOTES
~I took the liberty to increase the energy bonuses from 1 and 3 to 5 and 10 respectively per round. The former just doesn't affect the battle enough in the long run.

    Round TWO
Oedipa begins the second round cautiously. His eyes are closed and he focuses his calm. However, that all ends as soon as Sake starts taunting Oedipus with unsavory words about his mother. That's the breaking point -- Oedipa halts his focus and charges at Sake, throwing his powerful fist forward and knocking Sake to the ground.

    SAKE : -2PP, -15HP // Taunted, -10PP : OEDIPA

Oedipa feels a little better having successfully punched that punk off his feet, but he can't contain his rage. While his opponent continues to strengthen himself, Oedipa once again throws his fist forward and knocks the fighter off his feet. The fist, though still powerful, is not quite as powerful as before, but at least Oedipa got all that rage out of his system.

    SAKE : -5PP, +2Atk, -12HP // -10PP : OEDIPA

Sake pulls himself back together and strikes a pose. Oedipa still thinks of him as a jackass, but would prefer to end this match proudly and just waits. Sake charges forward as Oedipa's posture stiffens. POW!, Sake punches Oedipa and begins draining away his health. But Oedipa just absorbs the hit and latches onto Sake's arm before slamming the fighter, you guessed it, to the ground.

Both pokemon pull themselves together and feel energized by the scents around them.

    SAKE : -6PP, +6HP, -17HP, +5PP // -7PP, -11HP, +5PP : OEDIPA

    Round THREE
Oedipa begins round three very similarly to the first round, charging head-first towards Sake. However, just before he can land his powerful attack, the fighting pokemon manages to erect a protective barrier around himself that absorbs half the impact. Oedipa glares at the bi-pedal pokemon in a daze.

    SAKE : -5PP, Reflect activated, -6HP // -8PP : OEDIPA
    REFLECT - 4 actions // null

The childish cubone tightens the grip on his bone weapon for a few seconds, regaining his composure. With the flick of his wrist, he shoots it forward in a marvelous display. His signature attack collides with Sake (once more being slowed down by the barrier) before sailing backwards, hitting him again and finally returning to Oedipa's right hand. Sake decides enough is certainly enough, and holds his right palm out. Oedipa glances at it, thinking absolutely nothing at first... until the palm is thrust forward, striking his torso. Ouch!

    SAKE : -2HP, -3HP, -3PP // -2PP, -11HP : OEDIPA
    REFLECT - 3 actions // null

Feeling a tad bit frustrated, Oedipa once more charges at Sake head-on before colliding with the barrier, dealing minute damage. Sake laughs, and then remembers his toxic contingency. The fighting pokemon calls up a venomous poison from his body, and spits it out onto Oedipa. The cubone is furious, but not quite sure how to respond...

...but the aromas are especially strong this time, and both pokemon feel a lot more at ease.

    SAKE : -6HP, -5PP, +10PP // -8PP, +3% Tox, +10PP : OEDIPA
    REFLECT - 2 actions // null

    REF NOTES
~Those protected by a Reflective barrier will only take 50% damage from Physical Attacks.~

Toxic victims will lose 1HP per action multiplied by the number of rounds they have been under its effects; relaxing on an action will result in 1 less HP lost.

    Round FOUR
The gender confused Oedipa (seriously, who names a girl Oedipa?) waits patiently as Sake takes the energy from all his stat gains and bundles it up into a tiny baton-like object. He hurls it high into the air before being recalled, and Snake, BTP's contrarian snivy takes the baton as it hits the ground -- absorbing those abilities. Oedipa smirks, and before Snake can even introduce herself, she is blasted with a serious batch of snowy awful.

    SAKE : -5PP, -40% Atk // Snake : *summoned* +40% Atk, -18HP // -10PP, -1HP : OEDIPA
    REFLECT - 1 action // null

Snake shudders and glares at her foe with a look of disdain as Oedipa snickers happily. The snake shrugs it off before responding with an acidic, gunky concoction. The acid is spit onto Oedipa, dissolving her of her ability. Oedipa doesn't seem bothered whatsoever, however, and instead responds by throwing that same gunk right back at Snake -- doing the same to her as her protective barrier finally fades.

    SAKE : -5PP, @Contrary disabled // @Rock Head disabled, -6PP, -1HP : OEDIPA

Snake, despite her lack of ability, throws out her most powerful grass technique -- a torrent of wind and leaves flow from about the arena and converge upon the spry groundling, dealing heavy damage and exhausting Snake easily. The rodent, meanwhile, retalliates with a blast of ancient rock energy -- the several rocks raise from the floor and drop harshly upon Snake.

The aromas once more do their thing, and both pokemon feel more at ease.

    SAKE : -10PP, -20% SpA, -6HP, +5PP // -21HP, -4PP, -1HP +5PP : OEDIPA

    REF NOTES
~Sake is locked in the battle at 29/78.~
    ~The effects of
Gastro Acid will last until the pokemon are either recalled or fainted.~

hits hard for a little bugger.

first, I want you to use taunt to prevent any more stat raises. If he uses protect, though, use Swords dance. Then, I want you to use swords dance again, but if you used swords dance already, use bulk up. Then, use Drain punch once more!

You're fighting like a champ, Oedipa. Keep it up. Mommy would be proud.

Let's use your lovely ability again and strike with Double-Edge. Then Bonemerang and then another Double-Edge.

Oh, and as a deterring measure... Counter those pesky Drain Punches.

well, we can't have him doing any more serious damage, now can we? first, I want you to use Reflect. Then, I want you to use Force palm. If it paralyzes Oedipa, use smellingsalt. If it doesnt, use toxic.

also, I wanna know for sure how baton pass is supposed to work here. I looked in the movelist, and I didn't exactly get it.

first, I want you to use baton pass, and i'm going to bring in snake to teach this brat a lesson.
(btw, i'm sort of thinking by the game version of baton pass, because the version I saw in the move list kind of confused me).
Assuming baton pass only uses up 1 action, I want you to use gastro acid to get rid of that pesky ability. Then, I want you to use leaf storm!

sub: if he tries to protect against either gastro acid or leaf storm (if he protects against both, use instead of leaf storm), use substitute instead.

Baton Pass (switch into Snake, female snivy with the ability "Contrary") ~ Gastro Acid/substitute ~ Leaf storm/Substitute

Switching via attack (ala Baton Pass or U-Turn) only takes up one action, while just regularly switching takes up two.

Ooh, sneaky! Rather than switch you out, Oedipa, we're gonna try your hand against Grassy over here.

Wait until Snake is released and then hit her up with a Blizzard. Then wait until she uses Gastro Acid before responding with a Mimic + Gastro Acid combo.

(I know some people ref Mimic so that Mimic both copies the move and uses it in one fell swoop. If that's how you ref it, Grey, then replace the redundant Gastro Acid with AncientPower. If not, leave the commands as they are.)

Also, Oedipa is female. Just noticing this now.

alright, snake, time to end this little boy. First, I want you to use leaf blade. If he uses protect, use Sunny day. If you either miss, used sunny day, or failed to faint him, use Giga Drain. If, for some reason, you didn't faint him at all in the span of those 2 turns, use leaf blade.

*sigh* a grass/poison type. Of course

Alright, snake. I want you to use Aerial Ace right away. Then, I want you to use toxic to badly poison it. Then, I want you to use Flash to lower its speed.

Snake: Aerial Ace ~ toxic ~ Flash

By the way, isn't sake supposed to be regaining health due to regenerate? 'cause, at the ref notes for each round, I see that
Sake has the same health as when it switched out.

    wow. I R soooo smart

first, use flash. If he tries to protect himself from the attack, use calm mind. Then, I want you to use iron tail. Then, I want you to use synthesis.

Sake: Flash/Calm Mind ~ iron tail ~ synthesis

Missed that ability in the dex, so I updated the most recent round to reflect the change. Didn't heal him for 10HP/round though, as that'd be way overpowered.

Close your eyes against the Flash and start Teeter Dancing! Then Sludge Bomb, then Secret Power.

EDIT: Ahhhh, if I had known Sake was regaining health every round I wouldn't have been battling at such a piddly pace. X_X

Fast pace! Sludge Bomb and then two Double-Edges!

    Swift any clonie-clones.

well, looks like we'll have to get lucky.

First, if you somehow manage to wake up, use flash, but if you can't wake up, use snore and hope for a flinch.
Then, if you're still sleeping but manage to wake up, use reflect. if not, use sleep talk.
then, if you're STILL asleep but manage to wake up (although I doubt it since you're getting hit by a double edge), use synthesis. if not, use snore.

    Snake: Flash/Snore ~ Reflect/Sleep Talk ~ synthesis/snore

well.... ugh. that was so close! oh well. come out, sake!

first, I want you to use Retaliate. if they use protect or any move like that, or if they try to use a move to put a status effect on you, use bounce. on the peak of your jump, however, use aerial ace straight down at that thing for more power. Then, I want you to use dig to get under ground.

Retaliate/ Bounce(jump up)~ aerial ace (down at roundup) ~ Dig
