    I don't know why, but for some reason I never ever had a Pokémon on my rod. Can anybody explain this, or am I just a bad angler?

    How right can it be? Just go to bag, choose your rod and press a, while in water.

    uh...you have to press A when it says "Oh you got a bite!" intill it finally says "A Pokemons on the hook!"

    keep trying then...you cant just try once and give up...oh wait a minute arnt you the person who said that kept running into wild starters and stuff? if you are your game is screwed.

    Yeah that was me. But I've traded the Pokémon to my pal, restarted and traded them back.

    I never ran into these Pokémon since, but I can't seem to catch anything. My brother has the same, and he never got involved with gameshark.

    You have to press 'A' when it says there is a bite.
    Keep pressing 'A' everytime it says that there is a bite, you should catch something if you do these steps right.
