You get Beldum in Steven's house on the island with the psychic gym.
Meteor Mash/Earthquake/Agility/Shadow Ball plz.
Like Misty said, Beldum can be obtained on the island with the Psychic gym, which is Mossdeep City. As far as a moveset, Psychic is OK on him, but you need to split EVs between attack and special attack if you use it, which is not the best thing to do. On my Metagross, I use an all-out physical sweeper with Meteor Mash, Earthquake, Shadow Ball, and Brick Break. He works very well and I do not have to put any EVs into special attack.

One more note: You can't get Beldum until you're the League Champ. Only then does the Beldum in Steven's house appear.

I don't have much to say about where do you get Beldum (as it's been said by others before me). Metagross has demonically high attack anyway, so for the interest of insanity, leave EVs out of it. I find this moveset to be pretty good, but I'd replace Hyper Beam with Shadow Ball or Light Screen (Meta's special defense really isn't something amazing).

Meteor Mash
Lightscreen/Brickbreak
Shadow Ball
I have experience with both, I suggest Lightscreen.
Brickbreak is horrible on metagross and in no instances should it be used, the same with lightscreen. Either meteormash / quake / sludgebomb / hprock @choice band, or an agility / meteor mash / quake / shadowball etc., sludge bomb, shadowball, and hp rock can be subbed in accordingly to either set as you choose.
Another set you can try it meteormash / psychic / hp fire / earthquake for some sort of variation, its more of a special attack metagross. Meteor mash is still powerfl to be used without attack evs or a +attack nature, and hp fire is a good surprise for skarmory.
Agility makes for a better sweeper, Light Screen gives more staying power, either can be used very effectively, although it's more efficient to set up Light Screen with another pokémon. You should look at the rest of your team and decide which way would be most beneficial to you.
I had a weird dream last night, I was a sniper in some huge industrial complex, trying to get or do something, but there were too many guard so I zipped out the back into a foresty area, and I got cornered by a gang of full-size Metagross o_O; and lots of little Caterpie...
...so I had to pull out my flamethrower (where'd I get that anyway?) and try to torch 'em all. I'm not sure how successful I was, someone rang me IRL and woke me up.
Maybe I should avoid RSBot for a while o_O
I know this sounds like a stupid question but what is hp fire?
When certain amounts of DV's are on a pokemon, they have a certain Hidden Power, of a certain strength... on RSBot you can plug in DV's and choose your HP.
My Metagoross had Psychic (it whad MetalScyther's second set, but Agility instead of HP fire because I was using the actual game and didn't bother to get the DVs for a certian HP), even with out any EPs in special attack it was a good move, what-with-the STAB, and the fact that Metagoross' base special attack is higher than Grumpig's(It's grumpigs highest or second highest stat). Even though all of Metagoross' other stats are better, his special attack is still astronomical, and shouldn't just be ignored, imo.
But the real reason I had it was that my team suffered a bit of a fighting weakness, so I was trying to get another fighter killer. The moveset realy depends on your team.
