Machamp Moveset Idea

+Atk - Sp. Atk
Guts

-Meditate
-Focus Energy
-Cross Chop
-Encore

I have no idea how this works. I thought it might work good, though. Encore an attacking move, Meditate, Focus Energy, Cross Chop.

Machamp has pretty good atk already, +Atk increases it more, Meditate increases it more, Focus Energy increaes Crital Hit ratio, Chop shop has a high Critial Hit ratio, Scope Lens ups the Critical hit ratio more and Cross Chop gets STAB.

About how much damge woould that do (approximitly)? Is this a good moveset idea?

Machamp isn't fast enough/last long enough to use Encore successfully. Focus energy isn't that good. One attack (CC) isn't good enough on machamp... this set gets screwed by ghosts. I'd go CC, EQ, RS, Bulk Up

Although machamp has fairly good staying power (actually, it had fairly good staing power - evs sort of ruined it :[ ) Theres no way your going to get three support moves going without being killed by the opponents salamence/gyarados/gardevoir/claydol. My favourites machamp set is cross chop/earthquake/rock slide/hp bug or bulk up - not much strategy, but the variety of attacking moves can pwn with a little predicting.

As others have mentioned, it just can't last long enough. Why Meditate when you can bulk up. Perhaps its just me but that makes little to no sense for this guy here. Sadly, champ isnt very effective with a lot of sets, so I am going to have to say use persian's set its the best one, and its the same as titan's too, so aI think we can all agree thats the best. Sometimes breaking from standards is good, other times it isn't.

SilverPersian/Sir Chris: OKay, i've had no experiance with Machamp, and I didn't plan on using it. Just an idea, seeing if it was an okay idea.
