    Default Concern about Action Replay

I let a friend borrow Pokemon Ruby the other day because he said he just wanted to play the Elite Four. I let him, thinking that all it would do is give my lower levels some good training. He gave it back to me today and I was shocked to find my Level 100 Blaziken had 999 stats in everything, including HP. He's male, so I don't think I can breed a new one, but I'm even more concerned as to whether or not I can use an Action Replayed Pokemon in Colosseum. Does anyone know? I do not want to start over a new game, after it took me 110 hours to get this far. I also don't want to go without my Blaziken to Colosseum, since he's really the center of my team.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You're outta luck really. The latest thought about Colleseum is that the game will detect EV and IV and pokemon with illegal values (like having all maxed stats) won't be able to participate. Now there is a program out there that will generate a code to produce a "realistic" pokemon (ie, it has natural-looking stat values, IV and EV) but I forgot who wrote it. I'm sure I could find it again without looking much...

But perhaps you should get some better friends who won't cheat with your personal pokemon? Cheating is one thing, cheating with someone else game is just plain wrong.

Yes, it's been confirmed that a pokemon with cheated stats or movesets, etc, will not be able to participate in Collesium.

However the rumor that was going around about Collesium deleting your game if it's got cheats on it is FALSE.

You may try to put your Blaziken into Lannette's/Someone's PC and than back into your party. This may recalculate the sharked stat values back to normal.
At least, this happened on a game from a friend where he had sharked the Att stat of his Kyogre to 999.

Yep - putting it in the box or healing at the pokecenter will reset its stats based on its IVs and EVs. It looks like you friend used a non permanant code so your I/Evs may not have changed

Thanks, guys. The PC thing worked, which is something I would never have thought to do, since I've never put Blaziken in the PC before.

My friend also did a code for All TMs. I haven't used any of them, but that's not going to get me Pokemon booted from Colosseum, will it?

Can you use Pokemon you sharked, as long as you did not change their stats?

You know, like sharking Totodile and Pidgey.

I don't see how Colosseum can ban max stat pokemon from use in it - unless there is something stopping them occuring in game

Has anyone actually tried using one and had it banned?

kep all the tm it will not do a thing to your game or to Colosseum
Colosseum will not know if you got the tms from linking or sharking

I meant max legal stats - ie all 31 IVs. I would think that the 999 stat would be easier to stop....
