Which Video Game franchise should get its own anime series?

Recently, I've noticed that some anime are based on video games.
Anime such as Sonic X, F-Zero, Kirby, Pokemon and even Fire Emblem were based on their video game counterparts.
My question is, which current video game franchise should have an anime series.
My dream anime based on a game would be Wario Ware, with its wacky cast of characters such as Wario, Jimmy T and 9 Volts. Wario Ware would have loads of humour while having great action sequences and silly plot lines.

I even thought of an idea for a possible Wario Ware anime series, read it and see what you think.

Wario Ware: World Tour.

Plot: Wario, Waluigi and the rest of the Wario Ware crew are eagerly to see the teleportation machine Dr Crygor has invented. Just as Crygor is about to plug the machine, a mysterious figure and its giggling sidekick arrive and tell about the Project that will spell the end of the Vegetable World and then orders her sidekick to tamper with the machine which causes it to explode and teleports the WW crew away.
After Wario recover from the landing, he realises he is no longer in Diamond City, instead he is on Yoshi Island where a Yoshi tells him that the Melon Star which is one of the stars that keeps The Vegetable World in balance has been stolen and if all the stars are taken, the world in great danger.
Knowing there will be a cash reward, Wario sets to find his friends and find the other Assortment Stars before its too late.
Characters:
Wario, Waluigi, Mona (Wario's girlfriend),Lisa (Waluigi's girlfriend), Dr Crygor, Jimmy, 9 Volts, Orbulon, Kat, Ana, Spitz, Dribbles, The mysterious figure and her sidekick, Captain Syrup and other characters.

Possible episode titles:
Episode 1:Wario Ware are you? (the Wario Ware crew gets transported to different Kingdoms)
Episode 2: Waluigi's Mansion (Waluigi finds himself in a haunted mansion.)
Episode 3: What the Doctor ordered (Wario, Waluigi and Crygor team up with Doctor Mario to defeat a virus that is spreading.)
Episode 4: Don't Mona, Wario will save you. (Mona gets kipnapped by Wart and Wario is forced to save her.)
Episode 5: Disco Fever (Jimmy compete in a disco duel against the Disco King.)
Episode 6: Not Mushroom for 9 Volts. (9 Volts insults Bowser and gets kidnapped and so Jimmy, Mona and Wario have to inflitrate Bowser's castle to rescue him.)
Episode 7: Beanbean there, got the T-shirt.(Orbulon the alien needs to defeat Pokkle the shadow thief in order to get his shades back.)
Episode 8: Kat and Ana's Ninja Safari (Kat and Ana use their skills to protect a pink Yoshi from a hunter.)
Episode 9: Dribbles and Spitz Versus the Masked Racer.(Dribbles and Spitz enter the Double Dash to win the $10,000 prize money to repair their taxi, however the Masked Racer also wants the money and will do anything to win.)
Episode 10: Trading Mustard for Fury. (Wario faces Fawful who has stolen the Golden Peach Statue from him.)
Episode 11: Knighty Night (Wario, Mona and Waluigi team up to rescue Lisa from The Dark Knights.)
Episode 12: Enter The Phamtom Witch. (The mysterious figure who sabotage the machine is revealed.)
Episode 13: Toys don't cry part I. (9 Volts, Kat and Ana in Toytown and the King wants them to rid the town of an evil possesed teddy bear.)
Episode 14: Toys don't cry part II. (Wario has to rescue his friends from the teddy bear.)
So what is your dream video game anime.

I was going to say Donkey Kong untill I remembered that it was made into a pretty cool CGI series.

I'd LOVE to see a FF VII anime, that would so rock.

As Yami said, a FF based animé would be pretty awesome (depending on which they chose). I mean, the characters are already animésque.

FF7, FF8 and FFX (X-2 was garbage, no way) would also make nice animes. Prince of Persia would be great also.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing a Rockman/Mega Man or a Rockman X/Mega Man X anime. They've done EXE/Battle Network (heck, they're on the second series for that), so why not the other Mega Man series?

Well there is an FF anime out, but it's not baed on any of the games and it does pretty much suck.

A Bubble Bobble anime would kick so much áss =D

Star Fox would be so cool as an anime. It would be like Cowboy Bebop or Outlaw Star.

Or we could try a Super Smash Bros. anime. Crazy idea, huh?

SSB: Original. There wasn't any storyline in the game.

Star Fox: Original, with possible game adaptations.(Like Sonic X)

Vagrant Story: Sequel to the game, with quite a few flashbacks. Maybe a prequel based on either Sydney or Ashley.

Disgaea: Before, during, and after the game. Maybe they could clear up the whole Mid-Boss thing.

Final Fantasy Tactics: Through the game, though a prequel would be nifty.

Final Fantasy VI: Dosen't matter when it takes place, there just needs to be one.

Chrono Trigger: I know there was an OAV, but there needs to be one based directly off the game... though it COULD use a better sequel.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga: The game... and onwards.

J/K actually a cool and funny series about Super Smash Bros could be made. All the dimensions are coming toghether and the charcters join forces and fight.

I know that there is a movie coming out called 'Advent Children' or something like that that is suposed to take place two years after one of the endings to FF7.

As for an actual series of Final Fantasy, there's been several over the years. I belive the most current in Finaly Fantasy Unlimited. I've only seen the first four episodes but I love it to pieces (especialy Kaze *huggles her angsty doll*)

Then they have to live in apartments there while doing the fights as a new show that's sweeping the world. Imagine all the angst that will come from the different colors alone! And Link having to go to Samus for advise on how to get Zelda on his good side again. Anyone gets her mad and zap!

I'd like to see an Anime version of Golden Sun: The Lost Age or SoulCalibur II...But with SCII, it would basically be a bit strange where they try to join forces in search of the Soul Blade based off of Weapon Master mode....but I'm not really sure how it would go....XP

But something on Viewtiful Joe would be.....crazy. More likely to be a manga first. O.o;; I also like the SSBM idea, though.

It's CGI not an anime, and it looks terrible... Zelda could be made into a nice anime since It was a cartoon, jus' like Mario...

The story line was terrible, the characters where terrible, it was a terrible game...

Shadow was the ninja, right? That was VI.

Deus Ex would make a kick-*** animé. Cyber-agents, nanotechnology, people in trenchcoats.

Metal Gear Solid would be cool too.

I would say Zone of the Enders, but that had already been made into an animé.

Starcraft had a funky storyline. I'm sure that'd make a great animé.

I do suppose, however, that most video games that are made into animés are usually not really good e.g. Sonic the Hedgehog, BeyBlade (not strictly a video game, but a toy ), Pokémon (it gets old VERY quickly. Ash sees new Pokémon, Rocket try to steal it, Pikachu fries them, Pokémon isn't captured by Ash. LAME), Digimon (series one was alright. Everything else was pure bull).

Yeah Shadow is the cool ninja, it's the same one with Terra and Locke(sp)

If that's 6 then it's a decent game... V is still better ;D

Anywho, Max Payne & MGS would be pretty cool.

FF6 and Kefka. Sephiroth wanted to destroy the world so it would heal itself and he'd somehow absorb the energy.

Kefka became an almost literal god among men, and destroyed entire villages half a world away because they opposed him. That's right. HALF A WORLD AWAY.

Kefka is the best FF villan. Yes, Sephy's cool(and hot), he kills a somewhat annoying character, has really awesome final boss music, and he has a cool weapon. Kefka, on the other hand, has the BEST LINES EVER, accomplishes more, and also has really awesome final boss music... and an incredibly catchy theme. Plus EVERY playable character in FF6 was at least somewhat likable(I hero-worship Locke, Celes, Setzer, Mog, Edgar, and Shadow) and all had interesting personalities, while I can only say that out of FF7's entire cast I LOVED Sephy, Vincent, the Turks, and Red XIII.

Vagrant Story, however, has the best cast in history.

VI rules because it was before the FF that introduced the now cliche spikey-haired-pretty-boy-with-a-sword-that's-too-damn-big .

That and the moogle army in the beginning. That was short, but awesome.

The moogle army was the greatest thing ever. I also liked the hypello deployment in X-2.

And I think that super monkey ball could be a good anime... by good I mean hilarious. It probably wouldn't be any good. Ei-ei-poo! SSBM would be sweet though.

The Super Smash Bros. series could make a great anime. The good guys would be all of the main characters from the SSBM game, including some of their friends like Ash and Misty for Pokemon, Diddy for DK, etc. The bad guys would be Master Hand, Crazy Hand, GigaBowser, Ganondorf and the bad guys from the franchises represented in the game. The bad guys would be referred to as "Team Evil" while the good guys would be referred to as "Team Good." Even better would be to bring in the armies of "Team Evil" to mix things up a bit. I could also have some intrigue in there as Mewtwo would infiltrate Team Evil so as to try to help Team Good survive the plans of the forces of evil. It would end with a climactic clash in which not all of the main characters would survive. There could even be some good guy casualties when all was said and done.

Forgot who said it, but I'd like to add that anime is simply Japanese for "animation." Therefore, Advent Children is indeed capable of being catergorized as "anime."

I would so definitely like an FF-game-based anime (not the stand-alone animes or that cacated FFV [or was it FF4...] spinoff), no matter any FF, I'll even be willing to watch an FFVIII one, I'm that desperate... ^^;;; but FFVI and FFVII would be the best ones to make animes from. FFVI for the moogle playable chara (and Kefka) and FFVII cos that's my favourite FF. (<---- not really a reason, but... I'm FFVII biased...)
Ohhhhhh and they should have one of Chrono Trigger, as well... especially since Akira Toriyama did draw the characters =^^=

I agree an FF anime would kick @$$ but right now were going to have to stick with FF7: Advent Children. I also think Fire Emblem would make a good Anime along with the MMORPG PristonTale (www.pristontale.com), WarHammer, and warcraft, and TRON 2.0

And if your going to dis FF7: Advent Children, make sure you see the trailer first.

Also, FFV NEEDS to be made into an anime, for it is the best(GO CLASS SYSTEM!)
FFTactics Advance might be a good one as well, just have new characters go through Ivalice.
Castlevania might be interesting as well.
Legend of Zelda would make a good anime, as long as it isn't done Wind Waker Style.

EDIT: Kingdom Hearts must NEVER become an anime, for it's vile Disney taint would spread through the market even further.

There is a sequel anime to FFV out called Legend of the Crystals, but I've heard that it's crap.

Personally, I think Square should stick with Fullmetal Alchemist, considering that it's better than most of the FF anime... though I'd like to see a FFTA anime without Marche and the St. Ivalians... maybe it could take place after they go back to the 'real world' (I don't really think Ivalice was destroyed, just that Marche and company left it) and the resulting struggle for power in Ivalice. Oh, and the art would have to be done by Yoshida(I heard that somebody else did FFTA), despite his... odd fashion tastes(namely, Ashley Riot's pants). And Matsuno should make it a dark story... I didn't like FFTA's relatively light storyline compared to, say, Vagrant Story.
