Thread: Survivor Series - Lets try something new.

Default Survivor Series - Lets try something new.

    Ok heres a new style
Ill need a decent ref for this and a decent opponent would be nice too.

Each Trainer picks and announces 5 pokemon as his/her team. They start the match standing outside the battle area (on the bench)
When the battle begins the fight starts as a 1v1 with each trainer picking one Pokemon.
The twist to this fight is that switches or 'Tags' are allowed at any point however they require 2 actions
    1 - Tag Out
2 - Tagged Pokemon Moves in.
Tags can be interrupted by being attacked duing the 'Tag Out' phase and this means the next action is wasted. Pokemon that manage to Tag out sit on the bench untill theyre are called on again. They do not recover any HP during this time although Fatigue may wear off.
Tags are not allowed as the Last action of your turn.
This will probably mean that towards the end of the battle there will be a lot of switching...thats why i want a decent ref to keep track of it.

Ill wait till i get an opponent before posting my Pokemon.

The arene will be the standard Indigo Stadium.

I can't honestly see how a protect would stop attract in the anime, which is why it failed.

The stage is set for a very unusual 5 on 5 battle. On one side we have Ultimate Charizard and his group of fully evolved, big hitters, and the other is Jolteon100 and his group of fully evoled, but more agile team. Both battlers however decide to start off with a tough Pokemon as Nidoking and Kangaskhan are both sent into battle.

The two Pokemon stare across the arena at each other, but Nidoking seems to be doing a little more than the usual intimidating, and Kangaskhan is slightly worried so puts up a protective barrier around itself, expecting a big hit from its opponent. However nothign comes, and Kangaskhan lets down its guard and smiles sweetly back at Nidoking. Nidoking now steps forward and lets out a high-pitched scream aimed towards its opponent, causign obvious distress to the Kangaskhan, who retaliates instantly with a huge roar back at Nidoking, who steps back slightly intimidated. Looks like the's two are havign their first argument . Nidoking, realising its not really making any groudn despite the attract working, sets up its defenses in the form of three clones around it. Kangaskhan, confused summons down the rain, which pours all over the arena, destroyign the 3 clones almost instatly. Neither Pokemon seems to have any advantage going into the second round.

I can't honestly see how a protect would stop attract in the anime, which is why it failed. Its really a protective barrier to block any incoming things. But since attract isnt firing a beam, or a sound or anything, I cant see it working. Just in case you didnt get why it failed.

Also, sorry for that being a pretty dull reffing, but there was nowhere really to go with it. Come on, throw some hyper beams and thunders in there. Have some fun Hehe, kidding.

Nidoking looks to the skies as the rain falls and get an idea. Nidoking somehow gathers the puddles behind and around it together and causes them to head straight past the Nidokign towards Kangaskhan in the form of a medium sized wave. Kangaskhan creates a barrier around itself, which seems to have no effect in preventing the surf, as she is easily swept away by the wave. Once the water begisn to clear, Kangaskhan looks at its opponent in anger, it seems the attraction may just be fading. The kangaroo like pokemon gathers the water aroudn it in the same way its opponent did and fires it straight back Nidoking way. The wave sweeps Nidoking to the floor easily, who gets instantly to his feet and conjures up a thunder attack. The lightning bolts start smashing to the ground around Kangaskhan until one hits the Pokemon dead on. Once the storm has settled, kangaskhan gets to her feet, wounded, and starts smashign her heavy feet on the ground. The earth begisn to shake, but at the last possible second, Nidoking makes a protective barrier around itself to avoid any damage.

This third round is started quickly by Nidoking, who conjures up a thunder attack, filling the arena, and hitting down hard on Kangaskhan. The kangaroo like pokemon was obviously hit, but seems to be over reacting a little, as it looks over to Nidoking in despair. Her opponent then sloly walks over, and it seems to feel a little bit of remorse for what its done to the poor Kangaskhan. Nidokings trainer is screaming at it to attack, but Nidoking seems far too interested in the well beign of its opponent after what it seems to think, was an incredible thunder attack. after taking the few moments Kangakhan needed to rest, it hops straight back up to its feet. Nidoking is obviously shocked, but seems to have figured out it has been tricked. Suddenyl both Pokemon fire ice beams at each other at the exact same time. The two beams manage to miss hitting each other, but both manage to hit the intended targets with absolute ease. The two Pokemon are knocked to the ground, and although Kangaskhan seems to have only taken damage, Nidokings right arm seems frozen, and cuasing it quite some discomfort. And when it lands on the floor, the ice is still takign effect, freezing Nidkoings arm to the ground!

Kangaskhan is the first to react in this new round, firing a strong ice beam towards its opponents already frozen arm, but Nidoking has the energy to create a flamethrower to melt the ice before it reaches. However it isn't strogn enough to completly counter the attack, and Nidoking takes a little damage from the force that is still behidn the now water attack. Nidoking now musters together all its strength possible and smashes the ice on its arm, freeign itself, although causing major discomfort and a little damage from the sharp ice. Meanwhile, Kangaskhan has created a surf attack, and the large wave is headed right for Nidoking, knocking it back to the ground, but still warming it up a little. Kangaskhan now starts to shake the ground, ut before the earthquake gets any real momentum, it is interupted by Nidokings horrible high pitched supersonic attack, causing major damage to Kangaskhans ears and its ability to hear clearly.

The battle continues with Nidoking preparing a huge thunder attack. The rest of the Pokemon can all hear it coming, as can the trainers, but Kangaskhan stands there blankly. Suddenly bolts of lightning start coming down, with Kangaskhan taking damage, until she finally understands her trainers orders and protects herself from the remainder of the attack. Once the thunder has settled down, both Pokemon tag out, with the new line up being Starmie taking on Jolteon.

This next round begins with Starmie knowing it's at a disadvantage, so it clones itself in hope of dodgign the next attack. Jolteon then summons up a thunder attack, which comes down on Starmie, managign to destroy two of the three clones, and also hitting the original a little, causing minimal damage. Jolteon now begins running around its opponent, Starmie attempts to follow it for a few seconds. but then fires off a few swift stars instead, all hitting Jolteon and knocking it to the ground. Angered, Jolteon now gets to its feet and leaps towards Starmie, mouth wide open, but is blasted back by the full force of the Starmie's psychic attack.

Ok then Starmie. Disadvantaged or not were gonna do this.

Start with Toxic then follow with a Confuse Ray

Finish up with a Take Down.

Spark use a medium size Substitute, to stop Toxic and Confuse Ray, and maybe absorb Take Down, then if there is still enough Rain left to gurantee a hit by Thunder, use it twice, if not use Thunderbolt twice.

    Substitute(medium size) ~ Thunder/Thunderbolt x2

Jolteon starts the round off first, creatign a substitute to take the hits for it. Starmie then comes in with a toxic attack straight at the sub, which does nothing to it. Confused, but determined Starmie fires off a confuse ray, which again does nothing to the Pokemon. Jolteon then begins to fight back with a thunderbolt to the water Pokemon, but it only manages to destroy the remaining clone. Starmie now rushes towards the sub with a take down, dealing decent damage, but harming itself in the process. After the attack, Starmie it hit by a second thunderbolt from its opponent.

    sorry I forgot about this..

Spark, use Thunder Wave to paralyze Starmie, then Double Team, followed by Thunderbolt

Subs: If he tries to tag out on the second action use Thunderbolt over Double Team.
