- Arena: EVIL Underground Lair - Human Training Room. This room is filled with such thigns as excercise machines, a couple of water dispensers and food/drink machines. Also has a boxing ring, and a few punchbags in one corner. Pokemon cannot leave the room. Battlers do not enter the room.

The second round of the E.V.I.L Tournament begins with DarkTemplarZ and Shidorah competing against one and other for a place in the final. DarkTemplarZ has selected his Steelix and Scyther to begin with, and Shidorah has chosen to go with Girafarig and Houndoom. This round will take place inside the E.V.I.L Human Training Room.

This battle is started quickly by Steelix, who attempts to throw mud towards its opponent. Unfortunatly, when the Steelix attempts to attack, it realises there is no mud around to throw. While in this momentary state of confusion, Girafarig takes advantage and begins to try and move Steelix' body somehow. It seems as though Girafarig is tryign to tie its opponent in a knot, but the Steelix manages to fight the force for now, squirming to avoid being tied up. Scyther now decides to take some offensive action, rushing towards Houndoom with amazing speed and repeatedly hitting its opponent until Houndoom counters the move with a close range flamethrower before Scyther can cause too much damage, leavign Scyther in pain. Meanwhile Steelix is still strugling Girafarigs psychic, but seems to be winning the battle, that is until Houndoom fires off a fire blast at the steel Pokemon. Steelix tries to counter the attack with a dragonbreath, which although weakens the attack headed towards it, hardly prevents it from hitting. This hit also gives Girafarig the advantage in this battle she is having with Steelix, as she manages to almost complete the attempted knot, but Steelix squirming prevents Girafarig from tightening it strong enough to hold Steelix. Scyther now runs full speed around the arena, and crashes head first into Girafarig, sending it flyign into one of the drink machines. Steelix uses this opportunity to return to its original shape, before firing a powerful dragonbreath towards the Girafarig. Now all Pokemon have stopped, Houndoom fires a powerful fire blast at Scyther, leaving it burnt and in pain. The burn effect damages the poor Scyther.

Beh. Good job ye both....
Wrath, Fire Blast at anything that comes near you. If nothing comes near you, Flamethrower the Steelix. Keep that up for the whole round.

Taunt, grab Scyther and repeatedly smash him into the Steelix with a Psychic grip. Thunderbolt him for the rest of the round.
Obviously use Magic Coat to repel stat effects. Jump in front of Wrath and repel them from him if need be.

If you'd read the rules to start off with, you'd know that the person who is leadign after the first round attacks first. You are leading after the first round, so you attack first.

Time to make a comeback.

Steelix: Start off with Attract on Houndoom to make distract it from flamethrower/fire blasting you to death. Then hit it with your best Hyper Beam. If Houndoom is still attracted, use Toxic on it. Otherwise, hit it with Dragonbreath.

Scyther: Use Attract on Girafarig as fast as you can, hopefully preventing it from smashing you repeatidly into Steelix. Then give Girafarig your sig, Dragon's Nest. If Girafarig's still attracted, use Toxic, otherwise blast it with Hyper Beam

The four Pokemon once again square up, with Girafarig and Houndoom prepared to attack, but the two seem to stop, despite their trainers orders. Rather than attack, they seem to prefer not to. Suddenly Steelix starts charging up a hyper beam, and Scyther runs towards Girafarig, and begins taking blows at the prone Pokemon until the Girafarig finally comes to its senses and retaliates with a thunderolt to Scyther from close range. By now Steelix hyper beam is charged and is fired right at Houndoom, knocking the poor Pokemon to the ground. Houndoom now retaliates too with a flamethrower to Steelix, causign good damage. Steelix now turns back to Houndoom and fires off a dragonbreath at Houndoom, only for the opponent to retaliate again with a flamethrower. Meanwhile Scyther is charging up a hyper beam when it is struck by a thunderbolt, causing it to unleash the beam quickly right into Girafarig. All four Pokemon find themselves down at the end of this round.

Soujiro: Start off with Substitute, then you should be able to launch a clean Hyper Beam at Girafarig. If your sub is still intact, fire another Hyper Beam at Girafarig, otherwise hit Girafarig with a quick Persuit.

Kyoshinhei: Use attract on Houndoom to leave it gawking for now. Then launch a Hyper Beam at Girafarig. If Houndoom is still attracted, launch another Hyper Beam at Girafarig, otherwise launch Dragonbreath at Houndoom.

Taunt, you take on Scyther. Zap Cannong the substitute since it cant run away. That should destroy it, neh? Well, either way, Counter the Hyper Beam back. That should certainly destroy the subbie... Then Stomp down on the pursuiting bug, dont bother running.

Wrath, you shouldnt be attracted again. You were already betrayed... Well, in any case, Howl so's to not pay attention to that tricky lil' fiend.
If your attracted anyhow, then Double Team. That wouldnt hurt your love, rather it should make him happy to see more of you, ne? Then Fire Blast full power.
If you arent attracted, Counter Hyper Beam back, then Fire Blast full power.

The final round of the set begins with Steelix attempting to attract the opposing Houndoom, but the dark Pokemon simply howls to the skies, getting itself pumped up for the final round. Scyther meanwhile has created a substitute for itself, which is instantly hit by a well aimed zap cannon, causing fantastic damage to the substitute. The Scyther attempts to retaliate with a hyper beam fired quickly at Girafarig, but the psychic Pokemon somehow reverses it (is it just me, or does it seem weird that counter is meant to counter an attack like hyper beam?), firing it right back at the prone sub. However Girafarig is knocked straight to the ground by a second hyper beam from Steelix, causing good damage. Houndoom meanwhile is just standing there, not sure what its trainer wants it to counter, so decides to skip forward a little and fires a huge fire blast towards Steelix, hitting directly. Girafarig now goes up to Scyther and stomps away at it, only to fidn it completly dissapear as the sub is destroyed and the real scyther is revealed behidn it, and quickly knocking Girafarig to the ground with a pursuit. Steelix now gets up from the tough fire blast and launches a last attack at Houndoom, a dragonbreath.

You both now need to PM me your next two Pokemon. If Shidorah wins the next set, then they win the battle, however if DarkTemplarZ wins, then it goes to a third and final deciding set for a place in the final. Once I have announced the 2 Pokemon, Shidorah attacks first.

BTW, I don't see how howl would've prevented the attract working, but as you said, it wouldn't be attracted twice anyway, which is why the attract didn't work.

Also, I know the damage difference in th end was quite big, but Shidorah's strategy just worked, preventing DarkTemplarZ's attacks from all hitting.

2nd Set: Aoshi the Sneasel (M) & Matrix the Rhyhorn (M) vs. Button the Pikachu (F) & Taunt the Poliwrath (F)

Anyhow... y'guys can do it. Lets show em.
Button, start by Attracting Sneasel. Then Thunder Waving Sneasel. End by Dynamicpunching Rhyhorn.

Force, Attract Rhyhorn, Focus Punch (without focusing) Sneasel, then hold Rhyhorn up (not too high) with a Psychic.

Wait a second? Rhyhorn?! It's a Rhydon, I don't have a Rhyhorn anymore o.O Can you fix that please?

Aoshi: Start off with an attract of your own on Pikachu. With your superior speed, you should easily get your attract in before Pikachu does. Then start bouncing around the arena with Agility, keeping away from Poliwrath, Poliwrath would be too slow to get to you with it's Focus Punch, and it's unlikely Pikachu's Thunderwave could hit either. While Poliwrath's busy trying to grab Rhydon with Psychic, hit it with Toxic.

Attract (Pikachu) ~ Agility ~ Toxic (Poliwrath)

Matrix: Start off by quickly making a substitute, hopefully before Poliwrath can attract you too much. Then hit Pikachu with your best Hyper Beam. Your substitute should protect you against these attacks, since Psychic won't do any damage because it's not being slammed against anything, so retaliate with a Dynamicpunch on Pikachu, be sure not to be in the path of Pikachu's Dynamicpunch though.

True, cuz what would happen, the ref would lose the battle? lol. Anyway, IE probably has encountered some inconvenience and couldn't ref for a while, have some patience.
