Already mentioned in the news, but I think iit warrants it's own thread.

Vice City perfected the formula in GTA3, offering a fantasic enviroment. I'm hoping San Andreas offers a bit more new stuff. Multiplayer would truly be an awesome thing as well.

Otherwise, nothing to be excited about, except a confirmed release date. Until I see some screenshots or some new features, I ain't hopping out of my seat with joy.

I'll still end up buying it though.

The cover looks stupid, I agree. They should keep their famous design with sketches of the characters on the cover.

They say that it'll exceed expectations, I'm so excited. It's gonna be just in time to make a perfect birthday present for me too ^^.

I can't believe you all think this is the real cover. It's just a placeholder, like 99% of all game boxes of games that aren't remotely close to release. Just a picture for gaming websites and catalogs.

I was making a joke because it is such a ridiculous picture it can't possibly be box art.

Unfortunately (for XBox owners, that is), thanks to a deal between Sony and Rockstar, San Andreas stays on PS2 for probably about a year before the XBox. My guess is that this will happen:

October 2004 - PS2 release
Summer 2005 - PC Release and possibly XBox release
Autumn/Winter 2005 - Probably released on XBox by this time

GTAA should be on XBox by 2006, my guess is.
