1. I think they're so cool! I wish I could be like them... </sarcasm>
2. One of the socially inept kids at school threatened suicide in front of a bunch of people. That's just low.
3. In 5th grade I used to brag a lot and show off a lot of talents... well, I don't know what people thought of it, but now that I think about it I kinda feel it was for attention.
4. Yeah, I remember myself acting like a complete at dollar dollar hole. Meh, we were all naive at one time though, so I'm not sure... but really, 5th grade seems a bit old to pull stuff like that, so I dunno.
5. Piano, soccer, yo-yo tricks (and that's where I got my lame AIM name from), paddleball, and a bunch of video games.

1. i love them... (well i dont personally care, im not a very curious person so they often fail at trying to grab my attention... so i often just let them be...)
2. there are always those girls who seem to get a kick out of the attention they get when they make out with eachother at parties and stuff...
3. no im actually on the other side of the scale... noticed, yes... but i do things for individual reasons... never attention, id rather be unnoticed then make an *** out of myself

No, my group members weren't paying attention to me in one of my classes so I screamed really loudly so they would all look at me. I then explained my point of view, which they found was a good compromise to their bickering and chose it.

1) I guess I'm the biggest attention whore there is, since everyone in the chat is right about me, you know. ^^;;; I just practically run around asking for attention! I'm so lame. </sarcasm> ;P

2) Some girl at my highschool was talking about her period. Everyone was like, "STFU eww", but she just couldn't shut up about it. Now, not only is that annoying, but it's really gross too. ;_;

3) OF COURSE! I'm the biggest attention whore on this site anyway! ¬_¬ Okay.. I've done things for attention at home, but I know I haven't done so online.. yet.

4) I'm extremely ashamed of myself. *sniff* I think I'm going to go chop out my liver, I've been a disgrace. ;_; Err.. no, really, I'm not ashamed of myself. Maybe a lot of people in the chat accuse me of being a major attention whore, but I don't do anything for attention in there, so.. yeah. *smiles sheepishly*

1) They're fun to laugh at. Seriously.

3) Sure I can be a bit of a dumbass (ok, maybe more than a bit of one... ), and sometimes me and my friends will just do stupid things to make eachother laugh.

Probably all those times people making leaving topics then don't actually leave. I can't think of anything in particular. I occasionally prod my friends when I'm feeling left out. My boyfriend wasn't giving me enough attention so I dumpped him for an imaginary boyfriend I'm now very happy with my new man :>

I'm usually quite happy to just blend into the background.

i can tie a knot in a cherry stem with my tongue, unwrap a starburst with my tongue, lots of things with my tongue. also, my thumb is weird and disjointy and it freaks a lot of people out. probably more seeing as im just incredible, but i cant be bothered to think of any more

1. They need other people's attention to make them happy... which means they can't make themselves happy on their own... which is quite pathetic

2. suicide threats, girl problems (on Misc)... IRL there's this kid who's a VERY large ego who thinks everyone likes him and he's going to be president and such... but he's the least popular kid in school, he brags about everything he accomplishes, he cries, whines, and complains about everything that he can't do, he says hi to EVERYBODY (and i mean everybody) thinking that will help him make friends... he has horrible hygiene... the list goes on

3. me? want attention? i don't have a chemical imbalance between the nerve cells in my brain at school... i'm just braindead

4. if i make lots of money (at least 5-6 figures), i might try being an attention magnet

5. I know sports, math, Mario Golf toadstool tour, I've never failed at making a friend, i come up with the strangest, most useless lists/info ever (see Valentine's Day list), etc.

There's a difference between liking being noticed, and needing it. Attention whores do the latter, and it annoys the living hell outta me.

Someone jumping off the school roof because they got dumped. It was actually sort of funny, because it didn't end up hurting them at all, all they got was a suspension.
I also agree with td21 about the masses of whinging in misc. I mean, honestly. Why suck the life out of everyone else and absorb it yourself?

Oh all the time. This one time, I jumped off the school roof because I got dumped. lol
Nah, though I do do some dumb things for attention. Mostly due to boredom, though I'll also do damn near anything if there's a camera around.

Not ashamed at all. I do it for a couple laughs, not for sympathy. If I'm looking for attention, I want to do it to make people happy. Everyone is so depressing nowadays, a good chuckle can really bring out the best in people.

1] I don't really care. They are very annoying, yes, but sometimes that 'attention whoring' can be their own problem that they can't help. Though, they should probably get help with it.

2] Probably people who fake they're going to suicide because they crave the attention, both online and offline. Though in some cases they're probably super depressed and we should help them, like I try to, but sometimes it's just really irritating. Especially when I can't calm the situation.

3] Sure. I always yell at my friends and make a big deal out of it when they don't talk to me and if they're talking to something else (just a problem I can't help), and things like leaving TPM (trying to, that is, but come back because I have no where else to go really).. I guess that's enough to call me an attention whore. There's probably a lot of other stuff though since everyone calls me that.
