Default Cloning: This isn't a lie I've done it!

This isn't a lie, just hear me out! I just realized how to clone pokemon! I don't know why I didn't think of it yet! Here's what you need: A Nintendo Gamecube, 2 Memory Cards, a completed file of Pokemon Colloseum, a Ru/Sa game pack, and a Gamecube/Gameboy Link Cable.

    1. Trade the pokemon w/TM's, special items, etc. onto your Pokemon Colloseum game, and save the game.
    2. Turn off the power of the GC and take out the game.
    3. Put both Memory Cards into the GC.
    4. Turn on the power and go to the memory card sub-menu.
    5. Copy your file of Colloseum from one to the other, and now you should have 2 of everything.
    6. Trade off what you needed (legendaries, items, etc.) from the one onto your gameboy, and clear the data on the memory card.
    7. Repeat process as much as you like!

I just realized this and tried it. It works, and OMG am I gonna use this for those hard to access TM's!

Hope this helps others out there!

I'm sure I've read that Colosseum files can't be copied.

I just tried it myself. No copying or moving of a Colosseum file.

    So either:
    a. You're lying or
    b. You have a very lucky glitch

I'm putting my money on A.

I would believe this or people would use this glitch to their advantage. I still wonder if people have tried it and failed. Do you need a certain make of Memory Card? Have you somehow hacked your Memory Card so it can copy Pokemon Colosseum files?

I think it's all in how you read the thread title.

"Cloning: This isn't a lie I've done it!"

Punctuate it as "Cloning: This isn't. A lie! I've done it?"

    It works better that way.

    6. Do not post wild claims (i.e. 'i found a new pokemon' or 'i know how to get to johto/kanto') they are not permitted & will be closed.

If they're lying and I think they are then they have broken a rule here. The rule on no posting wild claims.

What would happen when after you trade a pokemon when it says saving to pokemon colusseum and game pak, you just turn the gameboy game off???
