Is there a good spot to train a Eletrike?

Do you need EV Training or Level Training? Also how far into the game are you? This information is important if you need help on where you should be training a certain Pokemon.

My advice is rebattle some Trainers near you. Maybe try the Trick House as that has Trainers inside too. If not you'll have to battle wild Pokemon and they take ages to Level up against.

Hmm... I dunno if it's true, but I've heard trainers only want to rebattle you after you beat Norman.

Mystic Dragon means Trainers who want Rematches. Including the Gym Leaders and the Champion, there are 69 Trainers in Hoenn who want rematches with you. Unlike the GSC rematches, these trainers actually train, and their Pokemon are stronger, evolved or they may have even caught new Pokemon.

Some trainers give you Items after 5 matches:
    Black Belt Nob - Blackbelt
Bug Maniac Brandon - Silver Powder (i think)
Dragon Tamer Nicolas - Dragon Fang

In order, these boost Fighting, Bug and Dragon moves respectively.

However, as Mystic Dragon said, Once you obtain 5 Badges, some Trainers will want Rematches.

Remember Gym Leaders will never give you rematches. Once you've beaten them and got their Badge they'll never battle you again.

That's true. If a Trainer wants a rematch there is a Square Pokeball symbol by their name

Ok... well, since Electrike needs special attack, killing the Spinda on that volcano route help. It may also be good to put off evolution for awhile so it can get Bite, which is hard because Electrikes so delicate. It's really fun to teach it Thunder and fight outside of Fortree on that rainy route, but it takes awhile for Electriek to learn it/purchase the move.

GSC rematches do improve, as anyone who's actually followed up on them more than once or twice knows. They don't do it as fast - it usually takes two or three battles with you for them to advance - but they very definitely do improve.

Yes, but you can't really train against them easily. I know what you're saying is true, but the RS trainers seem a lot more realistic in that they train more. You're perfectly right, though.

Remember Pokemaniac Brent? His team changed altogether. He went from a Lickitung to a few members of the Nido family.

I think...him being a Pokémaniac, he would just use some random rare pokémon. Well, not really random, since the teams are set in program, but that would be about the extent of his team-building strategy.
